Well, we just made staying up a whole lot more difficult for ourselves. Love to know who’s scoring the goals for us this season. There’s always next summer of course. In league1

Unless Ben Wiles and Delano Burgzorg turn out to be absolute world beaters and are able to drag us to safety, it would seem we are really going to struggle again this season.

The next episode of UTT. How to lose the confidence of the entire fan base in less that 10 days.
Kev will have lost the patience of the fans now and I imagine will soon be going very quiet on Twitter unless results turn around very quickly. There is little reason to expect they will though

We will struggle, no doubt about that but i do think these 2 will make a big difference. I like Diarra but it’s a bit like playing with 10 men the amount of times he gives the ball away. From what i’ve seen of Wiles hopefully it’s like playing with 12 men. Delano, no idea where we’ll play him but he looks very dangerous to me.

Wait till Nagle sees the gulf between league one and the championship.

Will be interesting to see what he actually comes out with after all this, clearly the budget he’s given the DOF & NW is way off what’s needed at this level but the issue now is January is a long way off and by the time we get there they’ll be no point in even attempting to sign anyone as we’ll be done for, accepted this soon as what happened yesterday…if the brass wasn’t there yesterday it wouldn’t have been today especially with Nagel pretty much burying his head in the sand with all the abuse, just when you thought the circus had packed up and about to leave it turns out they was just unpacking more stuff 😂

It is the other way round here. Home grown players get away with nothing. It's like some fans go to the game already angry at High etc. for being home grown and wanting them to fail. Going to the game already angry at him is such a perfect description. I agree completely with Warnock's comments too. I think High suffered with fans initially due to breaking into the team during that big losing streak in Corberan's first season. He earned his middle name 'fucking' because of frustration at our lack of squad options in midfield I seem to remember. And the single syllable last name. There were much worse offenders that season. The following season he was in the starting lineup throughout the period where we just started to look like promotion contenders. It kicked off among the fans when he had a really, really bad substitute appearance at home to Swansea (out of position I might add, and during an overall terrible second half performance from the team). And since then it's got worse with each passing 6/10 performance. A bit like how an injured or out of favour player gets better in our eyes every passing week he doesn't play, High is perceived as being terrible on account of being persistently average without improving much. He's not a fantastic player (yet, still only 22), but he'd shine more in a possession based side, and I don't think his development has been managed well. I didn't rate High that much, but it is hard to come in to a struggling side that can't pass the ball that well and our running off the ball is poor so that finding a teammate is often difficult. Most of this applies to all of the younger players that we have bought or brought through the youth teams. It is what happens when we have sold anyone we can get a few bob for and replaced them with old or injured or young players that we hope will develop. The last straw was selling LOB & Toff lost us the drive and energy in the squad and we have never recovered from that. It will continue to be difficult to develop young players within the current squad.

Dunelm has just announced its biggest profits in years due to queues buying new bedsheets.
Grow the fuck up.
Its not ideal. Far from it. All the faith a majority are showing in NW, we won't go down. So what's the issue?

I look at the transfer thread on deadline day, and it is then that I realise that we are supported be imbeciles. Unfortunately these people aren't locked up in Stores Hall anymore and are allowed to buy season tickets. What are you on about? We have NO STRIKERS. We cannot sign anyone until JANUARY Danny ward will get injured, who gets the goals? Only an imbecile cannot see this. I don't think Danny Ward gets the goals even when he's fit does he?

There are still plenty of free agents we can pray for.
Alfredo Morelos (yeah right), Moussa Marega, Stefan Jovetic, Jese, Anthony Modeste, Simone Zaza, Jozy Altidore, Conor Wickham.
And if all else fails lets just offer contracts to Florian Kamberi and Eden Hazard.

Warnock will have stayed on with the potential of a possible play-off push (with 3 or 4 good quality signings under a new owner) and a final bit of glory in mind. He's always been driven by the prospect of achieving something, promotion over a season or survival against the odds. The spat with the owner and the lack of incomings today means that his departure is now absolutely inevitable. There's nothing in it for him. Bring on Mark Lillis.

Well, as windows go, that one was more of an old broken sash window covered in piss stains rather than a nice flashy set of double glazing wasn't it

So what's the issue? You need to grow up pal, with your infantile posts about ‘wetting beds’; not ‘ideal’ is the understatement of the year; I get the impression that if you came back and found Nagle with your Mrs, you’d whip him up a full English and tell her it’s ok

Seem to remember one of our past managers talking about the hierarchy at the time wanting champagne football for beer prices, looks like things haven’t changed much over the last 20 years.

Down to brass tacks and taking Nombe as a case in point. (I have no idea if we were ever in for him) Who would you sign for. A club that may stay up by the skin of its teeth or someone else that is odds on to go down but IS a well run business. Hands up, and be truthful, WOULD YOU SIGN FOR US ? If I had no affiliation to Town all I would see a Basket case club at best

Wait till Nagle sees the gulf between league one and the championship. I remember been shocked at the drop in standard even back in 2001. It was awful. And as for 2003…….

Thank fuck I went to bed last night, woke up to find we haven’t signed anyone, what a surprise. I’ve only been supporting Town for the last 7-8 seasons or so, but I’m already onboard with our uselessness in the transfer window. Same old Town, never buying.

I suppose we should have guessed with KN doing a runner and going off grid. The guy knows what's coming and has ducked out.
