So, can I just recap on events:
We haven't signed anyone (Except 4 players)
We have no strikers (Except 3 strikers)
We're relegated already (And we've only played 4 games)
That's a dilly of a pickle as Ned Flanders would say.

Down to brass tacks and taking Nombe as a case in point. (I have no idea if we were ever in for him) Who would you sign for. A club that may stay up by the skin of its teeth or someone else that is odds on to go down but IS a well run business. Hands up, and be truthful, WOULD YOU SIGN FOR US ? If I had no affiliation to Town all I would see a Basket case club at best They’d sign for whoever their agent tells them to. And that’s whoever offers the most. But you’re right they SHOULD look more long term in my opinion. And that’s also not us.

Wait till Nagle sees the gulf between league one and the championship. I remember been shocked at the drop in standard even back in 2001. It was awful. And as for 2003……. To me its irrelevant what division we're in. The standard is relative. Its all dependant on who or what is sat at the top of the club. They dictate what we watch. We rock up every week, have a beer and take it in our stride.

Now then, it’s quite incredible that nobody has brought the name of Dave Baldwin to the table for our situation.
Ultimately, he was responsible for the buyer, not Deano, as evidenced by the starring role of him scoffing several burgers whilst watching Sacramento and sucking up to Kev.

I'll be honest now and tell you that I know a couple of town players and when I talk to them, (they could be bullishttiing me) it doesn't just come down to MONEY and the agent. Contrary to popular belief it ain't all about cars and tats.

What does that fat guy from Stoke actually do? Not the right back, the one with a black book. To be fair I have no idea what he has done since arriving here - it might be brilliant. However the Stoke forums were not exactly disappointed to see him go were they ?

No point being facetious. Your cited 4 players include a keeper to sit on the bench all season and your 3 strikers are Ward, Harratt and Hudlin. We are in serious trouble unless Wiles & Burgzorg are masterstrokes.

Wiles does look like he should be a good signing at least. 2) we have Danny Ward, he’ll be lucky to get double figures this season, and 2 youngsters. I think Harratt has something about him but it’s unfair and unrealistic to think we can rely on both him and Hudlin every week. 3) we certainly aren’t relegated yet! I think we’ve played ok all 4 league games so far, it’s been largely daft mistakes that have cost us and we have had a tough start. I was pretty optimistic even after the 4-0 defeat last Saturday and not sweating at all we wouldn’t be bringing in the additional firepower we all know we need this week. 7 days on, not only no striker(s) but the new owners had a dig on social media after the Norwich game following which NW has responded in kind. I’m starting to fear another defeat tomorrow and he may decide he doesn’t need the aggro and walk away. Where would that leave us? In an even worse state.

Some very average players (+ their agents) must have raked it in with successive pay days.

Surely the problem here isn't just the quality it's depth too. The starting 11 is actually fairly experience but as soon as one of them drops we're fucked.
Maxwell - 1 game for town Ayina - 2 Austerfield - 2 Yuta - 15 Hudlin - 1 as sub Pat Jones - 11 as sub Jackson - 13 and 9 as sub Headley - 9 and 3 as sub Harratt - 8 as sub Burgzorg - 2 as sub
These are all regular first team squad members now with a total of 76 appearances. That's the same as Danny Ward in his second stint. How the club can't see that letting experience go and not replacing it isn't going to land us in the shit is astonishing. If any player in any position gets in injured we're done.

Any game where we go behind, we’re done.

Can we get behind our team and stop all this crap. Yes we could of done with some more additions but we are not down and out yet we got out of a bad situation last season and we may of got a couple of useful players if we can get a few wins things may look a lot brighter lets see how we fair.

Crap window for incomings. We have 1 recognised senior striker in the whole club. You can't dress that up. Why the hell have they let Rhodes go before signing a replacement? That's the bit I don't understand. Neither Rhodes or Ward should be a first choice striker for a Championship club, but to let Rhodes go without a replacement already signed is ridiculous. Too much focus has been placed on getting players out and not enough on getting them in. Rhodes should not have been let go until we had a replacement. Our wage bill has to be less than £8m now. Shambolic.

How many games has Hudlin and Harratt started in the FA Cup and Carabao Cup. There is your issue !!

On a positive note at least Nakayama didn't leave so we can look forward to him adding a little bit of on the ball quality to the back line when he's ready to come back in.

Won't be going in League 1 Not to every game, maybe 2 or 3. I'm not watching that level again it is utterly miserable. We go down it'll be five seasons minimum.

Could be worse, we could have the moral compass of Getafe I would have been happy with Greenwood and Evans at this stage. I know this was a joke but no way!

Warnock will have stayed on with the potential of a possible play-off push (with 3 or 4 good quality signings under a new owner) and a final bit of glory in mind. He's always been driven by the prospect of achieving something, promotion over a season or survival against the odds. The spat with the owner and the lack of incomings today means that his departure is now absolutely inevitable. There's nothing in it for him. Bring on Mark Lillis. bullshit Warnock will not walk stop joining the drama queens

Well what's done is done, all we can do now is back the lads, encourage the youngsters that we've been saying deserve some game time, and see where we go.
We have to leave our frustration and anger outside the stadium because if we don't we'll just add to the problem.
Many have said they want to see the kids having a go, well your wish is granted.
As for the ownership, it's likely a lot of trust has been lost here.. but it's early days and we still don't really know what the budget is/was.. It seems though the earlier excitement and hope has been replaced by doubt and suspicion. Nagle has some work to do now to restore the faith and trust in him. No more words, actions are now required.

If we do manage to scrape survival this season, where is the sell to fans for next season ? They’ll have to come up with something remarkable to maintain the existing base of SC holders.

I've been a Town fan for 54 years and to be fair, this window is par for the course. Never mind the sound bites of recent years, how about 'consistently underwhelming'. Perfectly describes the club and the town in general. UTMCUT

Dunelm has just announced its biggest profits in years due to queues buying new bedsheets. Grow the fuck up. Its not ideal. Far from it. All the faith a majority are showing in NW, we won't go down. So what's the issue? You need to grow up pal, with your infantile posts about ‘wetting beds’; not ‘ideal’ is the understatement of the year; I get the impression that if you came back and found Nagle with your Mrs, you’d whip him up a full English and tell her it’s ok Brilliant reply using the same line I did. Well done. I need to grow up? Have you seen most posts by apparent grown ups on here? Personally we need to look a bit closer to home. But any negative comments towards the Messiah are ridiculed. He kept us up, job done. We are now in the bottom 3, that is also his doing. I believe he will keep us safe, without bringing a striker in. So many over reactions.
