Can any ITK posters advise if we're likely to sign Junior H now and perhaps have the option of having Zorg or JK more central?
I'm not keen, just wondering.

Not sure if already posted but the Clarke Harris to Bristol deal fell through. He's still at Posh.

Nothing to do with transfers as such, Woke up feeling deflated about no signings and then saw it was the year anniversary of El’s death, probably belongs on another thread, but just to put things into perspective for the day, let’s be happy we are able to watch town today

All of this doesn’t mean anything in the grand scheme of things. Frustrating yes but there are more important things in life.

On a positive note at least Nakayama didn't leave so we can look forward to him adding a little bit of on the ball quality to the back line when he's ready to come back in. If Warnock ever selects him to play.

Well that’s done now and all we can do is observe the fall out and hope NW performs an even bigger miracle (that’s if he stays).
What do we think will be different in January? Personally, if NW still here I don’t think anything changes. Players still won’t want to come if they know new manager coming in, in 6 months time.
Only thing that may change it, is if NW goes and they get their replacement in ahead of time. But that creates another issue. Have they got a target in mind? Would he be available early.
Even if that is the case would KN spend money

Can we get behind our team and stop all this crap. Yes we could of done with some more additions but we are not down and out yet we got out of a bad situation last season and we may of got a couple of useful players if we can get a few wins things may look a lot brighter lets see how we fair. Especially the players. The players should get our support regardless of this carry on and the score, unless they're not trying. Other than the odd player that rises to criticism ("I'll show the wankers") it's only ever counterproductive and will end up in particular with the younger players hiding. People then moan more and they hide more, etc. Vicious circle. As much as the Champ is likely a step too far for High, the shit he got on social from some of our bottom feeders on social media was appalling and I honestly think contributed to him regressing. We'd announce a new business partner and some twat would slag him off in the comments 🙈😆 There's also no point bringing this window up after every bloody loss and every bloody tweet Nagle or the club make. We will though, unless there is a miraculous change in form.

An odd thing for me is that Kieran Phillips was allowed to go out on loan before we had another striker signed. Warnock said he was disappointed he hadn't had chance to see him play, due to injury, but he is the most experienced of the 4 young strikers we had. More minutes at a higher level and more goals. He played the first half of last season in League 1 for Morecambe and got 7 goals and 2 assists. I know he has struggled with injuries but with hindsight keeping him until we knew our final position with strikers would surely have been a sensible move? He has only played 27 minutes for Shrewsbury but that may be him needing to get up to match fitness as he missed preseason.
In balance Harratt has worked hard in training and seems a pretty robust footballer and Hudlin is a wild card who could come good. I would have liked Phillips to have been given time this season, his last contracted to us, to see if he can play at this level. He may be recalled in January I guess.

The transfer window is entertainment within a game that is all about entertainment. It is another draw for football fans and there is nothing like it. Not even the IPL auctions come close.

Interesting that Pochettino thinks this transfer window has been tough, some of these premier league managers live in cloud cuckoo land.

The club made an error leaving the number 7 and 9 shirts free. What were we supposed to think.
If well i’m looking forward to see Wiles today and hoping Danny Ward doesn’t get injured.

Mind you, Harratt might as well have come and sat with us anyway.

I know it is unlikely that we will now look to the dregs of the free agent market, but there really are slim pickings. I've attached the names at the top of the Transfermarkt.com free agents list filtered by centre forwards. On that list itself there's really only Sebastian Andersson who is within our budget and an improvement on/different to what we already have. Edit: you might have to click on the image to enlarge it. Offer Jovetic a short term deal. I would as well, but I think he was on around 30k a week at Hertha (who have overpaid for just about everyone for the last five years) and I doubt we could match even a third of that.

I wonder if Alfredo Morelos could do a job at this level..? Risky given he gets sent off every week, but he might do well under someone like Warnock
