I wonder if Alfredo Morelos could do a job at this level..? Risky given he gets sent off every week, but he might do well under someone like Warnock It would be fireworks ( him and NW ) but it would be bloody exciting.

Should probably have kept Phillips and Simpson. Big clamour for Hudlin, but I will be gobsmacked if he is good enough for the championship. Let's remember he has never started a game in the championship.
Desperate times.

Wiles improves our midfield and Burgzorg will hopefully give us more spark in the final 3rd, but fuck me, it's been a poor window.
With all the outgoings since last season, even if we're still paying a percentage of wages for some, we must be saving atleased £3m a year in wages?
A few injuries and we're absolutely up shit creek.

Could be a blessing if he does though, means we have to play Harratt or Hudlin. That's assuming they're both on the bench! I couldn't believe that NW didn't put Hudlin on the bench last week. Mind you, Harratt might as well have come and sat with us anyway. He'd failed a late fitness test last week

Went to bed at 10.45,sick and tired of Sky blowing smoke up the florists arse. Those twats are only interested in reporting on PL transfers. I sort of knew there would be nowt that involved Town anyway. If the players we have signed, plus Nakayama are as good as I hope, and Warnock picks the correct 11,I reckon we should be OK this season. Not disappointed at the lack of CF signings based on who was available. As for Mr. Nagle being offline,it doesn,t seem to bother Kevin Costner in the wilds of Wyoming/Montana.A bit weird though going offline during the last day of the window.Onwards and upwards fellow Town fans, business as usual. I had a look on Twitter and he managed to block someone yesterday, so he must have internet access

While this window has been brutal, poorly planned and executed. We could go on all day how terrible it’s been for numerous reasons ranging from lack of investment, lack planning, money, short term managerial issues, club form, location and most importantly how we’ve let senior strikers leave before bringing in new additions and the fact we still don’t have a high scoring CF etc etc I woke up this morning (bear in mind it could have been the margaritas and coquito drinks (I’m in Puerto Rico at the min) I woke up with a weird gut feeling. A what if type gut feeling. I’ll get pelters for this, and I can already see: rose tinted glasses, naivety, positive bandwagon, Kevin’s bum boy etc comments. But, what if there was a silver lining to this… What if, NW does get something out of this squad and does get us gaining points quickly, climbing up the league table (say mid table), we would have gained (total guess work here) 24 players or so sold, released, loans ended etc about on average $5k per week per player in wages 120,000 per week in player wages X 18 weeks Before Jan window. Saved $2,160,000 in wages. That could and should (you’d hope) be reinvested back into the spending kitty for Jan. We ALL know this is a HUGE risk and really debilitating if it fails as we would be relegation candidates and going to League One would be an absolute disaster. But, for what if, hypothetical sense here. If we do OK. Financially it leaves us in much better situation to truly invest in Jan and Summer next year. Add to that. We’re forced to give some players an opportunity to step up in the hope they go and make a name for themselves. If we can tie up Diarra to a new deal and protect that asset. And let’s hope Wiles and Burgzorg are great additions along with some players raising their game and are massive surprise packages, we may have some new heroes. we might look at this a bit differently. Maybe just maybe this might work… (right I’m off to go have some morning drinks )

Where the fuck have Coventry found £26m? A few years ago they were playing their home games at Northampton and Birmingham.

Some will be fuming tonight that we didn’t get battered so they could spend all night shouting on the internet 😂 Just the way. The bedwetters are confident and loud when something goes wrong, completely silent until there’s something else to complain about. Hopefully today is a lesson in not being so melodramatic.

Bonkers that one win clouds so many into thinking that all is suddenly well.
Granted, a terrific win, but let's not pretend that the club haven't clearly been desperately trying, and failing, to recruit over the last fortnight. Thus, a failure at the top level.
Regardless, a fantastic win, and let's hope this squad can significantly overachieve for another season before we can genuinely start to rebuild.
