never been in a Sam Smith's pub I liked. Not much a fan of he / she / it / they would explain why we've not launched the 3rd kit yet. Can't wait to see Hoggy in this

Not arsed about either Holmes or Camara leaving, I think Pat Jones is gonna play a big part for us next season. Pat Jones playing in an entirely different position to the two you mentioned? Why is there any connection? There isn’t, was just expressing an opinion. Also hope High goes, one of the worst I’ve ever seen in a Town shirt. Garbage that lad.

Sam Smith would be a great signing, if he brings his two hundred pubs with him. New revenue stream, right there. never been in a Sam Smith's pub I liked. You're going to the wrong ones, then! That or price isn't one of your top three/two/one criteria. You can take the man out of Yorkshire, etc etc etc

So the comparison is acceptable. It's really pushing it, although from his subsequent post, I think we just need to allow for the fact he's not exactly tactful/subtle in what he says 😆

Old Hall in Hecky used to be good, cheap beer and the odd dog about you could stroke. It closed for a while. Now it’s expensive, do dogs or phones allowed. Shite

So the comparison is acceptable. He wasn’t trying to make a comparison, just having a dig at two players for no reason other than he likes to do that. He switched to High, who he called ‘garbage’, just to keep the run going. He either likes slagging players off or he is looking for an argument. I just find it unpleasant and unnecessary, which is why I challenged it.

Three or four pints of that in the Jug and Bottle back in the day and that was me gone! Hands down the strongest lager I've ever had! I'm sure it was only meant to be 5 percent but it was bloody lethal! Three or four was plenty and you'd never remember the rest! The two pint rule for driving definitely didn't apply with that stuff! Tasted alright too! Only ever saw it in there I think!

Ayingerbrau would also be a much better name for a stadium than naming it after that John Smith's pish. The Ayingerbrau Bowl, anybody?

Colliers Arms on Elland Wood Bottom was a decent little pub and a cracking little beer garden next to canal. I didn't mind the Taddy larger either.

Boyle gone. We’re moving these lads on quick which bodes well, seems as though we want to clear out the ones that are superfluous/want away like Camara before we bring others in.

Landlord in our old local would only serve pints to locals who he knew could handle it. Lost many a good man who put 4 or 5 pints away straight from work!

Sam Smith, 25 year old and scored 13 and 15 for Cambridge in League One over the last two years. Currently a free agent. We could do a lot worse than him. Don't be bitter if this doesn't come off. Let’s hope he passes his medical. We only need players who are ale and hearty!

It’s not a promising start with Holmes and likely Camara sold. Why is the new regime seemingly getting a free hit? I think they’re hiding behind FFP a bit here. They can talk about ‘vision’ and ‘journey’ and all those other abstract concepts all they want, but this weakens an already very average squad heading into what looks like a tougher league this year. Remove the PR and this smacks of potless again bull shine wait till the window closes then comment utt Forum will be a bit quiet if we can't post anything until the window is closed.

Yeah, the Boyle transfer makes sense all round. We're well stocked in his position and he was quite low down the pecking order. Very decent signing for Lg2 though, and frees up space/wages for strengthening elsewhere.

So that's Holmes, Boyle, Camara looks on the way, probably Rhodes and possibly High. So maybe 5 out. Money definitely for Camara, not sure about the others. It was always going to be some out before any came in, and maybe the money from Camara will be the catalyst for spending.
I would think at least one experienced striker, a right back and midfielder, hopefully a playmaker.
Lets hope it happens fairly quickly to allow them to bed in a bit before the season kicks off, which is just over 3 weeks away. I assume Warnock has his targets and it just needs the books to balance enough, hopefully.

Excite the yokels with a bit of PR guff and then spend the square root of fuck all and hope for another miracle

Thought this was a football forum to express an opinion? “Unpleasant” get a bloody grip! How was I “having a dig”? I’m not bothered that they’re leaving as I don’t think they’ll be missed, and I think High is bang average at best! Is this ok? Or are you upset with these words as well?

Will be 5 loans I reckon.. we won't want to commit to warnocks style for more than 12 months.
