Ciaran Clark would ve fantastic for experience, imagine wages would be a sticky point. Dack we all know is a good player - but we can't afford an injury prone risk. Similar to Knockaert I could imagine. Joao and Afobe, both reliable at this level - again wages? |

Didn’t Warnock state in an interview at the end of last season that we had a few ‘irons in the fire’ do we think those changed due to him coming in permanently?

He'd be a phenomenal signing if we could keep him fit. I'd be worried if we spaffed our "limited" budget on someone who seems to be eternally injured though |

He’s now 30 and scored 19 in three seasons - he only made 9 starts last season. He’s hardly the solution. As a comparator, Ayew scored 16 from left wing two seasons ago at Swansea. Assombalonga scored 20 in last two. Not that we could afford either’s wages…. |

20/21 for those wondering. 19 in 39. Struggled to hit double figures prior to and after. Still, 10 goals from a single source would help.

No Tony Agana - he is only 59... Caught up with Tony at the Sheff U v Town game last season. Still looks as fit as a butchers dog. Lovely fella. Pre Warnock coming in and I was asking him what he thought of his old style management.
