Rak-Sakyi - can't remember where it was mentioned though Kendo? Fook me!, we are in a state if we are trying to sign aged wrestlers.🤣🤣🤣🤣 Loved Kendo Nagasaki, my all time favourite wrestler. My mum & Gran often used to take me to the wrestling, God bless 'em.

Davis would solve all of our problems up front. Doubt we would be able to get him though. I think his wages would be an issue. He's at the age now where he needs to settle somewhere and kick on. Minutes wise he's a 1 in 4 striker in the Championship. I think he's got the attributes to improve with the right manager and putting his roots down somewhere. Warnock could be brilliant for him but I doubt we could afford him, unfortunately. Think wages will be a big issue. Especially when there'll be teams like Bristol City walking around with £25m in their pocket to spend

What did Blackburn fans think of ST? generally liked him but he faded I live in the area - many friends are Rovers supporters. Initially they thought he was good/ok but after initial weeks they felt he flattered to deceive. Ironically they felt his crossing/ free kicks were poor. Rumours that he was quite disruptive and soon became just a substitute/squad member I certainly don't know any supporters who were sorry to see him go.

You wouldn't class it as Breaking news though would you ? isn't he the keeper , who turned us down , so we signed Joel coleman isntead then went on to win the play offs.

Rak-Sakyi - can't remember where it was mentioned though. Just seen Keinan Davis can leave Villa aswell on a perm or loan, reckon there will be a few Champ clubs after him. Davis would solve all of our problems up front. Doubt we would be able to get him though. He's an absolute clogger and we've had enough strikers that cant score recently. No thanks.

Was just saying, Davis is shite.

Davis is quoted as being available for £4m and currently being on £45k p/w, so that ain't happening.

Well if Rhodes doesn't want to go, then we will have to. He has offers it seems, but doesn't seem in a rush to go. I know rhodes is happy at Town, maybe he fancies forcing his way into the team ?

I know rhodes is happy at Town, maybe he fancies forcing his way into the team ? I think that this may be hard, first of all because we don't play in a way that brings the best out of him and secondary we have Ward as first pick so if he keeps injury free (not very likely) and the hinted at striker whomever he may turn out to be will be in front of him.

I totally understand, but if he doesn't want to go or get a good offer. Then we are stuck with him for the year, Ward's injury record is poor at best. Therefore i could see him getting minutes even off the bench at times.

Birmingham also linked, right sided wing back. If he can fill in at right back, then that's where we need cover until Turton is fit. Also, there's really only Sorba who's a naturally right sided wide player. Koroma, Jones and Headley are all better on the left. We're also assuming that Turton will be as good after injury as he was before. He might be, but either way we need experienced cover and competition - and it's a bit early for Brodie Spencer imo I am not sure he was very good before his injury, he was IMO very average. I appreciate some think otherwise but I would hope for better at right back.

This and an article where NW is now saying won’t be relying on a striker for all goals this season seems to say we’re struggling to get the strikers we want in. Hope I’m wrong

Maybe it's wishful thinking on my part, but he seems to have an instinct that cannot be taught.
