Why hasn't a coach worked with Thomas to improve his body positioning when he receives a ball on the wing. Infuriating watching him flick it with the outside of his foot every time. Sometimes it comes off but more often than not it flies up in the air at neck height making it impossible for our player to control.
He's played well today though, especially defensively

Sorba has looked rejuvenated today, worked his arse off and defended well and beat a few.
I know we need some signings but we have some talented players and some exciting young players who are all happy and working hard for Warnock and jepson so anything is possible this season

That goal only happened because Ayina was composed enough to get his head up and find a good pass. Not something you see too often from a Town centre half.
Great play and Diarra too and taken well by the big man

Harratts first touch is awful Hudlin looks a far better all round player. Thought Diarra was excellent.

Pearson does well but hate how wasteful he is with the ball and if Warnock is true to his word about wanting to be more on the front foot then a defender like Nakayama instead of Pearson could be key to that |

The last 30 minutes was probably the most enjoyable. The younger lads moved the ball around really well and I thought Spencer, Ayina & Nakayama played really well too. Austerfield is probably a better ball player than REG but I think Warnock will use REG for his defensive qualities.
Good game that and 4 good goals.

Best thing about that game was Hudlin, a real pleasant surprise. He won his headers but was a lot tidier than I expected in link play & scored a lovely goal from a fantastic Diarra run & pass.
I really worry that REG & Kasumu means that our link play won't be good enough, their passing simply isn't up to it.
Diarra might not start but he should be really useful coming on for the last half hour.

Sorba MOM, I hope the small amount of fans that have an issue with him realise how counter productive that is and he goes on to be a vital player for us once more. Hudlin looks a bit of a rough diamond with a very unique selling point.
