No sign of Nakayama. Hopefully it is nothing serious Played in the B team friendly this morning. As did Jordan Rhodes. Makes you wonder whether they are trying to offload him alongside Rhodes. With bringing Ruffles, we now have him, Headley and Jackson on that side of defence. Would be shame if so as he looked really good at times last season before his injuiry.

Incidentally, none of those are acronyms; they are initialisms. It's only an acronym if you can say it like a word. I bet that will annoy you too 😆 No it doesn't particularly annoy me as that is the term in general parlance, however if you'd read the thread properly you might have seen that jasrick has already explained this far more eloquently than you. Lah de Dah 😄

Not quite sure about sending someone off in a friendly for that but allowing Pearson to stay on for a very nasty tackle

I hope they aren't too upset, after the game, to explain to our lot how to actually pass to someone in the same colour shirt.

Think it’s a case of yutu just getting mins in his legs after injury they usually play with b team until back at full strength

red card, man down for them. Can we beat 10 men second half Our passing will need to improve. We look well-organised as you'd expect, but we showed little quality, particularly in the final third. We struggled to complete even basic passes at times in that first half. Edwards looks good though. Think we'll rely on his long throw alot in the coming season, as we won't open teams up in open play too often.

I could only find it on the Examiner. Huddersfield Town line-up to face Heerenveen: Lee Nicholls; Tom Edwards, Matty Pearson, Michal Helik, Josh Ruffels; David Kasumu, Rarmani Edmonds-Green; Sorba Thomas, Brahima Diarra, Ben Jackson; Danny Ward. Substitutes: Chris Maxwell, Loick Ayina, Jaheim Headley, Josh Austerfield, Jack Rudoni, Josh Koroma, Kian Harratt, Kyle Hudlin. Kasumu has already gone off for Rudoni. Thanks mate, I've been watching but didn't see team til ko.

Wonder what the purpose of that was? One week out from the opener I'd have thought you'd want to get your most likely starting 11 on the pitch together yet today looks like a right tombola selection Providing there are no injuries or personnel changes, I reckon the starting team at Plymouth will be: Nicholls Thomas Pearson Helik Ruffels Headley Kasumu REG Rudoni Ward Koroma same as last season, but a defender in midfield,we're doomed

Good points about the first half ?
Edwards has a very good long throw.
Difference from last season's team trying to attack and score ?
Edwards has a very good long throw
Midfield invisible and Ward and Thomas etc just the same as ever.

Really annoyed he sent their lad off, we need a test in last pre-season game.
Worrying that Pat Jones isn't playing in either team today - at least I don't think he is?

Typical friendly, leisurely pace and players hoping to avoid injury. We always seem to struggle against organised sides that go a man down so not expecting a goal fest second half. Edwards looks steady.

If your a town fan, you should be there regardless Stupid statement. Not every Town fan has the inclination or the wherewithal to get to all home games, especially those of us who live miles away. Dont think it’s a stupid statement at all. Think a few on here misinterpreted what i meant, if you can get to the game just fine and your sat on your ass at home, Dont see why you cant pay and support the team. Also i was commenting on what the original comment said, If we make no more signings from now to the end of the window, Are supporters not gonna bother attending just because of that reason? That seems like a stupid statement to me.

We change managers, coaching staff and players through the years but always seem to make a 10 man opposition look like 11. Hopefully subs will make a difference coming on.

That seems like a stupid statement to me. Loads of reasons why people wouldn't go to this but still be a fan. Kids, justifying the money, it's a fairly unknown opposition to most people, it's a pointless match, could go on. I don't think it is a stupid statement about the signings either. I understand we have no money this season, but people that are on the fence about going or have other things they could do would possibly be swayed by new signings, there's nothing difficult to understand about that. You can still be a supporter that doesn't/can't go every week.
