One week out from the opener I'd have thought you'd want to get your most likely starting 11 on the pitch together yet today looks like a right tombola selection

Yup, ALL about gradually lifting the CTL to raise fitness and load levels without having peaks and troughs of TSB that increase the likelihood of injury. Don’t build the base minutes properly now and we’ll lose a couple of players in September. Not worth the risk give it’s all so measurable. What the f**k is CTL and isn't TSB a high street bank? I love this modern use of TLA's (three letter acronyms) to convey a sense of expertise, IT technicians get paid fortunes for baffling people with acronyms and then simply rebooting your PC . Incidentally, none of those are acronyms; they are initialisms. It's only an acronym if you can say it like a word. I bet that will annoy you too 😆

I wonder if the lack of signings will affect the attendance on Saturday at all, its usually interesting to catch a glimpse of the new signings and one of the motivations for attending. Probably be a poor turn out. If your a town fan, you should be there regardless Im not off, not because of the reason above, because i'd be bored shitless.

What standard would you put this lot at? Top end Championship I'd have thought

call me an entitled bedwetter but that's a very weak bench that needs 4-5 signings

What standard would you put this lot at? Top end Championship I'd have thought I’d say probably a mid table championship side. Don’t know a lot about their team, nor Dutch football as a whole, but keep an eye out Osama Sahraoui on the wing. U21 international for Norway and very highly rated.

call me an entitled bedwetter but that's a very weak bench that needs 4-5 signings If you add Hogg, Lees & Nakayama plus a new striker that is hopefully due, then it's not quite that bad 😬. I think we're at least 3 short at the moment, a striker, a central midfielder and right sided attacker. All 3 have to be first team ready.

What standard would you put this lot at? Top end Championship I'd have thought Hard to gauge is the Dutch league, although not as strong as they used to be their top clubs have won European trophies and played in finals but its not a regular occurance now, teams like Heerenveen and the like really just make up the numbers but they're a top flight side in a decent standard league.

Time to sort it out yet though of course

Funny how far out of his depth Pearson can look when up against technically gifted players
Could have been a red card for that challenge

call me an entitled bedwetter but that's a very weak bench that needs 4-5 signings What's the team? I could only find it on the Examiner. Huddersfield Town line-up to face Heerenveen: Lee Nicholls; Tom Edwards, Matty Pearson, Michal Helik, Josh Ruffels; David Kasumu, Rarmani Edmonds-Green; Sorba Thomas, Brahima Diarra, Ben Jackson; Danny Ward. Substitutes: Chris Maxwell, Loick Ayina, Jaheim Headley, Josh Austerfield, Jack Rudoni, Josh Koroma, Kian Harratt, Kyle Hudlin. Kasumu has already gone off for Rudoni.

After the first 15 minutes it's basically been Town watching them pass it around. They're very easy on the eye but don't offer much threat
