It's registered in California and it used to be the name of a media production company. If you type in Town FC below you'll see a few of their documents (the other guy's name is likely his lawyer). Of note: The Town FC is in relation to an effort to bring women's football to the bay area (not something I'd think nagle would be interested in with his Sacramento ties). Other interesting point is that the name was switched a week before the announced takeover so that was probably part of the bid or agreement process. Linkneeds to be careful our kev, his address is on there. Nice looking house though valued at around $1.6 million after a quick google 😂

No different to many business owners who you can see their details on companies house. Not always their home address of course.

It’s pretty easy here to find what property people own (as long as you know the county the property is in). We’ve been looking for a new house (quite a bit smaller budget than it sounds live he had) and, whenever one comes on the market, I look up the property so that I can know if it is someone actually selling their own home or if it is someone that bought it for half as much 2-12 months before, made cosmetic changes, and then are trying to sell for double. It is a little unnerving as I’m sure we all have those we’d rather not have the ability to lookup our address. I expect that’s even more true for rich/famous folks.

What he’s just posted on twitter after someone said they’d heard he had no funds “We are fine. That’s not an issue. We do have to follow relatively strict financial protocols the first year but we will have plans to take the Club to higher levels but they won’t happen overnight. As I wrote earlier, we need to be focused, plan, and get the leadership in place. You are seeing that unfold.“ Will probably be a relegation fight again then, a LOT tougher this year than last. "The towels out, as he waits patiently for the first goal we concede of the new season...." (in a David Attenborough style voiceover)

So...Kevin has purchased HTFC through an LLC - "Town FC LLC" - does anyone know what difference this might mean compared to being owned by a Ltd, as we were whilst owned by "Pure Sports Consultancy Ltd". I *think* an LLC is more akin to the Dean Hoyle approach of an individual owning the football club, rather than a corporation?? Yes. They’re different. The LLC owns the club. With Kevin and co being owner/president and I’m sure treasurers etc. Different company setups here stateside. S Corp - usually for small entities, independent contractors, small business minimal employees. Good for taxes. C corp - more of a bigger company setup. LLC - more for ownership of larger scale entities, properties, investments etc. All have different tax setups too, can vary with IRS and with state to state (all states differ).

That's a good question. I am not 100% sure on overseas investment companies/entities in the UK from USA per se. Only the opposite (UK to USA). (I came stateside on an E2 investor visa and now have a permanent green card. I've been here long enough now, I can apply for citizenship). My take on it though, and I could be completely wrong, would a company would still need to be registered in the UK, if its doing business there. So, I wouldn't be surprised if TOWN FC LLC owns a company now in the UK, or has recently set one up, and effectively operating as a dba (doing business as) style setup. But owned by TOWN FC LLC. The club would technically, I believe still need to be paying taxes to the HMRC etc as its doing business on UK soil, so there would be a company of some sorts that the money, business transactions and payroll to club employees and staff goes through for sure. That wouldn't be allowed from a US based company as PAYE doesn't happen here in the US (depending on state) there is federal, and state income tax that's deducted plus the company will have to pay tax (company tax) too. It could be one of the reasons why it was a somewhat lengthier process. Nothing necessarily to Kevin and Co credentials for the "fit and proper" test etc, they'd have passed that with ease im sure, but more so from the business legislation, logistics and paperwork side. Im not an immigration or business lawyer, so don't quote me on the above.

I wish I had never asked😂… Thanks for that, thinking about it I think you will be right regarding having to be registered over here in some shape or form.

Hudds Town Association Football Club Ltd will remain as a UK registered company, with Town FC LLC being identified as the 'Person of Significant Control' - just as PH's "Pure Sporting Consultancy Ltd" was previously named as a 'person'. It'll catch up on Companies House, but you can read it here - so its definitely the fact of the matter ... www.htafc.com/company-details/"The Club operates and carries out its activities through the following commercial entity: The Huddersfield Town Association Football Club Limited
The Club can confirm the following person(s) have a ‘significant interest’ (as that term is defined within the EFL regulations) in the Club: Town FC LLC: 100% owner"

I just need to know the date of Town's friendly against Sacramento Republic in Sacramento. I've already checked flights from New Zealand, Hotels/B&Bs and car hire. I'm locked and loaded Kevin. Just need a date. Hmmmm how did you get the money to New Zealand?

I watched a film last night called the Titanic, that did not go well, let's hope he steers us away from being at the bottom of the league.
He has a titanic task ahead of him, he will have to ship some decent players in to progress, the championship is a tough league, with captain Warnock at the wheel we have a good chance.

Get ready for some puns from Admiral Westie. Well aye - I’m sure Captain Warnock will get his oar in and trawl around to make quay signings - perhaps an anchor for the midfield or someone who can funnel through the channels and steam ahead and not barge opponents but have the ball caught nicely in the net when we play the likes of Hull... I think with Commodore Kevin at the helm, there will be a stern policy and there will be no rigging of anything, and we won’t have any choppy waters to navigate and won’t have to worry if The EFL dock points - and this will mitigate the minefield of relegation and having to face opponents like Port-Vale and Fleet-Wood ! On a more serious note and ending... ☹️ Sea - I’ll need to put this to bed now and bow out by saying may these dear souls who perished in the submersible dive vessel tragedy 😢 find eternal peace 🙏 in their New Found Land and though I don’t do religion my thoughts are very much with their loved ones left behind and they did depart our world doing something they totally loved and believed in - adventure - and I hope with time this will be of some solace and comfort to the folks they leave behind... 🌅

I don’t think many will be surprised that we had around 115 pages of speculation on the other thread, maybe 30 pages worth of anticipation of the takeover.
Now it’s happened this thread is meandering along at a snails pace, no doubt until we hear from the new owner next week.
It’s a funny old place is the t’internet…

Brilliant news and a lovely ‘gift’ on the eve of ma birthday weekend ! 🍾 🍾 Kevin - Welcome to The one and only HUDDERSFIELD TOWN ! 😊 👍 Manchester City we certainly are not - Though for many many years we were well above them... But equally we are not Haven’t & Waterlooville either (with the greatest of respect to them obviously) ! But you have a beautiful football (soccer) club here in a really good town with the best folks and also the best of staff at the club as well ! So without rabbiting on about our wonderful records and beautiful history (they’ll be ample time for that for sure) enjoy the advantage of being ‘eased’ in by these very good staff and here’s to a great tenure at Huddersfield Town AFC ! Treat yourself to a fine Islay Malt Whisky tonight or in the coming days if you’ve time in your schedule and if you like the stuff - The King of The United Kingdom Prince Charles, well his favourite dram is Laphroaig 🥃 from there... Finally to Dean Hoyle... Have a very happy, pleasent, and contented footy retirement and a long one at that and Thank You for all you gave to Huddy Town - You left us in a higher position than you found us - so you also Dean treat yourself to a good malt from The Whisky Isle and come with the family and see The West Island for a holiday and we can empty a bottle or two at ma bit ! Happy Huddersfield Hours... and days... and weeks... and months... and years ahead !!! 👍 😊 🥃 🍺 What a blithering ejeeet.

Is he gonna blow £50m on new players? I think Kev will continue with the previous regime's undisclosed fees. For the coming season I think we should expect solid, unglamorous signings along with very low fee/low risk signings with potential to help us be competitive. BUT to convince Warnock to stay on, Kev must surely have given him exciting reasons to stay, rather than "please stay Neil, and I'll get you one or two average players for you to succeed in giving us an average mid table season."
