Seriously, can't do right for doing wrong. I'd thought to suit some folk, annually, quarterly, monthly, weekly, daily, might fulfil expectations, but a one off - didn't anticipate that. I mean if you read my post again you'll see I've essentially suggested annually, so I guess we're in agreement. True, that's why I started with yearly, but the patience of those wanting weekly has already expired, which is the irony was poorly contrasting. |

After the pilot episode they could be in the process of selling it to a streaming service. Would be a way of increasing the exposure of the club and future revenues.

A professional football club with a professional media team and they even mess this up. Shoddyness at its finest. What was the point in releasing the 1st episode if the 2nd wasn't anywhere neat to being ready. See that's what I don't get, at the end of the first episode there was a "coming soon" bit with clips of the next episode. They probably have it in the can ready just trying to either sell it to a streaming platform or waiting to coincide with the big reveal of Kane & Mbappe to town. |

Why would any streaming platform be interested?
The only reason the Wrexham one worked is because of the interest in two very famous hollywood actors taking over. Nobody has heard of Kevin Nagle
The only reason the Sunderland one worked was because it was a post season one and everyone knew it would be good viewing watchint them implode.

Not sure why any streaming service would want to buy the rights tk this. I was pretty bored watching Kev and his family debate how to cook pasta and Iām a big fan of Town, moustaches AND carbs. Iām the prime target demographic.
The suggestion that the board will only communicate with the fans if Netflix pay them to isnāt too inspiring either.
If we need to monetise the dissemination of information from the club to the masses, why not set up a premium rate phone line with a man talking exceptionally slowly whilst charging 50p a minute? We could call it āClubcallā or somethingā¦

It is a great idea, but I really think ifnyou are going to be doing something like this, it needs to look professional. Releasing 1 episode and then 3 weeks later nothing. It would have been better to not release the 1st episode and us fans would be none the wiser. |
