They are verging on completely stuffing the momentum behind this now for me. Assume there must be one out next week for the start of the Championship season (summarising pre season, Warnock thoughts etc) otherwise incredibly bizarre use (just showing 1 episode and giving no indication of when episode 2 could drop) of what could have been something the fans enjoyed/got behind the club with.

Assume there must be one out next week for the start of the Championship season (summarising pre season, Warnock thoughts etc) otherwise incredibly bizarre use (just showing 1 episode and giving no indication of when episode 2 could drop) of what could have been something the fans enjoyed/got behind the club with. As you say we are all willing and wanting to be behind the club cheering them on. They arrive with a big splash and then ..... Don’t know how to add screenshots but this is what Nagle has said about the next ep… “Hope to have it available around the home opener but the Director gets jumpy when we push him for the exact time. Franklin Pictures actually does a great job!” |

I don't want to be a sceptic, but you could argue that it was a marketing episode for Kevin and Co. To give a bit of insight, to create more of a positive way of thinking about who is the guy and team that have just bought and taken over our club.
I am a little surprised there hasn't been an episode 2 out yet. I do believe it was mentioned it would be something like a 10 episode series. I would imagine the next episode will be based around time Kevin and team did the press conferences, NW conferences etc and a bit of stuff behind the scenes.
Before getting into the nitty gritty episode 3 which would probably be about pre season itself.
With things like that it takes a while to get all clips, all content etc pieced together as a production.

It feels a bit amateurish and naive to have announced this as a series, especially if you're right in that they've put a number on it. The first episode was certainly a marketing campaign - which worked really well and was very interesting - but there was no need to set it up as an ongoing series. Just make it a 'strand' that might or might not continue at some point or another. I work in sport media and football clubs are constantly changing, delaying or scrapping material based on all sorts of moving parts. It's OK if you're an Amazon or a Netflix because you take the contract and put it out regardless of what goes on, but why would Town actively sign themselves up for an internal series if, say, we get relegated this year. It's certainly no big deal whether it does or doesn't come out but it feels like Kev and his team have probably got a bit excited and trigger happy on this without really thinking through the bigger plan. |

Agreed - especially as the end of the first ep they trailer a load of "coming this season" content, some B-Roll, but also interview footage with Nagle, a few of the movers and shakers and some kind of video chat with Warnock. The narrative must surely be known already? |

I think (and speaking mainly for myself here) the excitement for this has petered out a bit as the season approaches and we remain stationary in the transfer market, there are a few nerves amongst the fans as to what shape we’ll be in come the end of the window. |

I would imagine this would just be the beginning. New group only been in position a month or two and already you can see the infrastructure improving. If this is true about Netflix, then this is a clear plan to improve commercial activities to something we've never seen before. Improve that then everything grows including budgets for transfers
