Just hope his enjoyment so far isn't being tainted by the spats on twitter

Really interesting ep. Him and his team certainly come across well. I think his evident lack of knowledge or planning for this whole purchase is showing in his exuberance but I'm sure that'll settle down eventually.
Good of Hoyle to get in one final mention of all the 'giant' clubs around us - little old Town eh.

The only giant is Utd, City are getting there but that's it, unless he means the delusional bastards to the NE and S but they're nowhere near giants.

Forgot the football, I'm more interested in the photos of Dylan and Hendrix on Kevin's wall.

How dare he mention (in a glorified manner, for tv purposes dramaticness) that the club is surrounded by bigger clubs - which we are. At least after Nagle's PA next week there might be enough funds for a banner thanking Dean for all the joy he brought us all under his custodianship.

The working class roots comment showed me a lot of KN's character. The fact he can relate to our fan base gives me huge optimism that the club is in great hands.
Also liked his comment about the charities already nominated and getting others on board

Really enjoyable to watch something about Town that is so well produced. Even the stuff the BBC and Sky did when we got promoted was nowhere as slick.

If these 'for TV' reconstructions are in anyway similar to the actual events, at this point in the series, it appears we are very lucky to have found someone with the ambition to take on what most would see to be an extremely unremunerative opportunity.

How quickly some people seem to forget that if the club had not found a buyer in March, it would have gone into administration and this coming season would have looked very different. Already there is a lot to be thankful to Kevin for.

Unfortunately lost at some stage but the thought was there.

I wasn’t sure of Kev but the portrait of Dylan and photo of Hendrix’s guitar behind his head have convinced me.
Let’s hope he rings a few top strikers and begs them to ‘Please crawl out of your window’. Or a few more journeyman who move around ‘Like a rolling stone’.

Funny title - surrounded by Giants. TThe subject of the larger teams around us (none of which I would say are particulary giants (sorry Massive) - us not really being surrounded by the Manchester teams) never really came up. Then I thought they were referring to the Giants fans - nope not that either. An odd title.

Hopefully, once Kevin Nagle has had more direct interaction with the fans he'll realise we're a bit fed up of the club being talked down - the surrounded by Giants is just another example.

Might be wrong but wan't it in the days of Sean Jarvis that the club came up with the marketing campaign around 'Working Class Club' or whatever and the strap lines around it!? Everyone loved it at first until the decline started and then when people were looking for 'reasons' for the decline people jumped on the 'talking ourselves down' bandwagon? To me, the reason for the decline is that we spunked tonnes of money on very shit, shit and distinctly average players and paid them barrel loads of unwarranted cash, not because of some marketing strap lines and the ways these and subsequent comments landed with some fans!

20 seconds in and already Hoyle’s familiar words are haunting us and hopefully not leaving an imprint on the new ownership….
Enjoyed the ep, I like the energy and passion that the new team have and I really think their hearts are in the right place. Onwards and upwards.

I'm enjoying this series, I hope it's true Netflix are looking at it, I'm sure plenty of English football fans would love a fly-on-the-wall Neil Warnock series.
