We need Captain Picard involved to get the global audience... shame he only gave a shit when we were in the Premier League He's been to plenty of games outside the PL. It's quite a trek from Hollywood to catch a game so obviously he's not there every week. Seen him at many games before and after our PL "adventure". Sat behind him at Millwall in L1, with about 800 town fans max. No idea where this myth that he's some sort of glory hunter has come from.

Perhaps it's more that the media only bothered to mention him being a Town fan when we were in the PL then. Apologies, Sir Patrick.

I can see Birmingham having a better shot at this than us given they have a famous American involved. People in the US are far more likely to watch a football documentary where Tom Brady is involved than Kevin Nagle who most people have never heard of We need Captain Picard involved to get the global audience... shame he only gave a shit when we were in the Premier League Watford away last season

Patrick Stewart was wearing a blue town cap.Real glory hunting - although we did make the playoffs that year.

Must admit I struggle to see how we'd get Netflix interested.
Wrexham have big stars. Sunderland was quite a new thing and a dramatic collapse from a "big" club that had been run by fucking idiots.
If it happens, I'll definitely watch because it's my club - but I struggle to see the appeal outside of our fan base.
Hope I'm wrong though because it would be class.

Saw him at the 5-1 Port Vale game where we got relegated marching in to that pub with a lighter and a can of lynx africa. Great days. Top Town fan is Patrick.

Am I right in thinking Netflix haven't done one of these so far? They've been on prime or Disney. And it will be for an American audience.....and us!!

There was a thing on YouTube about Peterborough with Barry Fry that was quite interesting. Big Ron Manager. I think it was originally on Sky. Incidentally, I recall quite a few Town fans wanted us to sign Sean St Ledger at one point. After watching that video I'm really glad we didn't! Weapons grade bell end.

So then they rocked up at Peterborough. Swindon's CEO at the time? Mark Devlin...

Not sure what people expect from a now elderly Patrick! Not easy traveling across the Atlantic and driving hundreds of miles at his age! He's a big town fan and very proud of it, end of!

Didn't know Devlin was involved though. Was quite an interesting behind the scenes documentary. It gave me a new respect for Chairmen. Even when those chairmen go by the name of Barry Fry!

The Warnock movie was filmed during the 2004-05 season, Iffy had retired by then after leaving Walsall as player-coach in 2004. His final game as a professional was actually in the play-off semi-final for Town against Lincoln City in May 2004.

Never played Dagenham in League 2. 2011 in League 1. A pretty dreadful (and quite fortunate) 1-1. The highlight of that night for me was walking past some terraced houses & one house had a couple of sofas in the garden facing the house, probably for external telly viewing. It was the only chuckle I had all night, the game was awful.

Part 3 out next Friday and for those who are likely to slate Hoyle's involvement, then to use Prepare talk, let's wait and see. You never know we might finally get some answers (or maybe not).

Hoyle: "I made a mistake" Well, there's been a few posters who've been calling for him to admit mistakes and then they'd stop posting negatively about him. At the risk of sounding like prepare I'll wait and see on that

From being a good owner he did turn in to a poor owner after his illness. I can't be too hard on him as I would have just wanted to get rid of Town asap.
On his recovery he seemed to want to get shut of Town but seemed to have a strange way of going about it while getting what he could back out of the club.
The more anyone does the more mistakes you make, If you make enough good decisions you can live with the bad ones. It seems pointless him admitting what we all know at this point. A bit more humility a little earlier would have gone down well. No one is infallible.
