Correct -such a strange call to make unless they have a name. Maybe it was Haaland and the club pulled out when they realised it was Alf-Inge It's from the same poster who said he'd rather Chansiri was our owner than Nagle so I'd take anything he says with three large scoops of salt. And the only Town fan in the world that wanted Fotheringham to keep his job.

We seem to have a split with those who support anything said, done or hinted at, by one of our owners and others who don't take what is passed down from on high as gospel.

If ex-neighbour means a fellow Yorkshire club, the below fit and seem fairly plausible: Moore Woodrow Wood Brewster Are they with Premier League clubs?

Leads the line well, plays with his back to goal brilliantly and is great in the air. And there you have it. We have none of these qualities in our squad.

You can only imagine that whatever the issue with Warnock was, it was identified during the window and the purse strings slammed shut for the next manager. Slammed shut?! They were never open! Not linked with a single player if I remember rightly. Responsibility lies with the CEO and DoF. Not real though... Neil constantly said 'we will only get people if I feel they are better than what we have' The club had targets. But they weren't with certain agencies or clubs didn't want to loan them here. As much as NW pulled off a miracle and brought some passion back into the club. He is sole blame for the lack of transfers.

There can be many reasons for this. Wages, players preference, if they know the manager from previous clubs, whether they want to move closer to their roots, Ward & Pearson for example. For loan players their will be a host of issues which affect it. I don’t think it is that simple, especially when the rest of the squad is so poor. We’ll see this January if DM is a better draw, but then again other factors may also have changed.

Obviously Warnock shoulders some of the blame but to solely blame him for the lack of transfers is ridiculous.

Player ratings from today’s Blackpool game against Shrewsbury has this for Jordan Rhodes (who scored his tenth goal of the season):
12. Jordan Rhodes- 9 Jordan Rhodes opened the scoring for the Seasiders from the penalty spot. While he did the important job of tucking the ball away, he was also key in the build-up- playing a flick through to Karamoko Dembele, who was brought down in the box.
Thanks Neil.

Like Harratt and Hudlin banged them in in leagues below - they didn’t score then and neither look like doing so now. I’d take Rhodes back without doubt - Warnock said that he was the best striker at the club and yet still saw fit to let him go out on loan! He might not be perfect but he’s so far ahead of what we currently have - at least with Rhodes on the pitch I’d feel as though we might score which is more than I do at the moment.

Yet loads of you were screaming for Hudlin to play three months ago 😂 Can't wait for Rhodes to come back in January and start scoring bagfuls. Play-offs might even be on?

We have taken strikers from League 1 and below who were not getting as many goals as Rhodes is. He has played almost 1,200 minutes this season. Danny Ward has played less than 400 and hasn’t scored a goal yet Warnock pushed for him to have a new contract and let Rhodes go out on loan. Rhodes is now into double figures. As they say, go figure.

Whilst he isn't the answer, I can guarantee Hudlin wouldn't have scored 10 in the same period for Blackpool, so while we're fumbling around playing him and Danny Ward has refound the sickbed following his father's departure, he should absolutely be here starting. Almighty clanger by Warnock saying we didn't need him given Ward's injury record and the inexperience of Hudlin and Harratt.

And if the board knew Warnock wouldn't last beyond September, why let him make decisions on season long loans?

I don't remember golden boy Rhodes playing much of a part when we stayed up? Ward on the other hand... It's daft to send Rhodes out on loan without replacing him but let's stop pretending that we've loaned out Maradona and that when he inevitably returns in January he's gonna be banging them in left, right and centre. As usual, whenever a player leaves Town or isn't in the side, they become 100 times better in the eyes of Town fans...

Where was Rhodes when we were pushing for promotion and Ward was out injured ? Scoring vital goals against Boro , Barnsley and most importantly Luton . No one is saying he’s the second coming . However let’s all be honest and say if he was here he’s the best striker we’ve got available …

I don't remember many people wanting Rhodes in the team when we were picking up results towards the end of last season and he was surplus to requirements. The way people are going on and on about him now, he better be brilliant when he comes back. I'm expecting at least 15 goals when he returns in January.
