What would be the justification for doing that though? The players were paid (unlike Wigan), agents were paid (unlike Forest), creditors were paid (unlike Cardiff). It would be groundlessly forcing us into a relegation scrap. Because we are Huddersfield Town , we need to be forced back to where people beleive we should be - League 1. We are not a big club , we have no history according to some in the press and it seems within the powers of english football. Therefore the rules have to be changed for us.
You think decisons come around , what goes around comes around so to speak. The amount of things that stink of favourisium when it comes to games including us, is beyond a joke. I have seen so many strange things happen in our games, that you jsut know that it doesn't seem to matter, when it comes to us.

I presume the crux of the FFP thing (and why we appear to be hamstrung compared to other clubs) is because of the stupid 3 way stadium ownership which means we don’t receive anything like as much match day income as we should. DH couldn’t resolve it but KN and team will need to, to allow us to progress.

Why couldnt hoyle set the budget higher then just not spend if sale didnt go through Because he is the anti-christ and wants the club to implode once he has every penny of his money back, plus interest.....obviously.....I can't believe we allowed him to have custody of the club for so long....absolute charlatan....blah blah fooking blah

Our new owner said all the right things at his q&a and respect for doing that. This is a question - not totally my view - but I’m 70-30 swaying towards it. Loads on here will say “get a grip”…”drama queen” etc. But it’s an opinion on a forum. Has Warnock “pulled the wool over Nagle’s eyes?” We have a very weak squad and seemingly missing out on potential targets. Defeat tomorrow- we know it’s more than likely - and the pressure mounts. Remember this is a forum before I get abuse hurled at me just because I chose to post in my own name- rather than some silly fake name. Always UTT. Regardless of who we could have realisticly, or even optimisticly, signed this season, would we really think we had greater expectation to win than to lose to Leicester? Our season will not be defined by today's result but the performance was a million times better than the equivalent game ĺast year v Burnley.

Why couldnt hoyle set the budget higher then just not spend if sale didnt go through I think the EFL have got a lot stronger on finances after the mess we've seen in the last few seasons at clubs. If you submit a budget I believe you have to show how that money will be provided. Plus we make a huge lose and I don't think Kevin will be altering it a great deal going forward. Football is a mess with lots of players expecting to be paid more than most Championship teams are willing to pay. There are still lots of players without clubs and I suspect you will see more players reducing those demands in a few weeks when they get desperate for a club.

If that quote is accurate the use of the word "actually" is quite scary. Did he really not expect that? Even more naively, did he think long standing supporters wouldn't expect that? It perhaps shouldn't be like that but it is no secret that it is. Why’s it scary? What if the question in relation to it was for instance…. “why are we not spending loads of money on new players when we’ve sold so many and removed so many wages from the wage bill?” I’m in no doubt that KN knew exactly what he was getting into, certainly from a financial perspective and I think the naivety sits with anyone who believes otherwise. I'm confused. The question section royrace highlights was Q:" How is FFP going to affect the club?
KN: " We inherited a lot of debt. Most of it has now gone away. We took the new budget, which actually has more expenses that it has revenue coming in.
We have to fix that and bring dollars into the club."
The quote is directly taken from the Cowshed Loyal twitter fee. Why have you introduced a "What if the question was....." scenario? Do you believe the twitter feed was inaccurate? IMHO Mr Nagle doesn't answer the question at all but suggests (with the use of the word "actually" he was (?) / we should be surprised that the pope is catholic sorry that a championship club budgets for a loss.

On the off chance someone from the club is reading, could not make out one single word Kevin was saying yesterday, lower tier main stand away side.

Though given the crap music we play most of the time it can be a godsend They can take away the speakers from the Kilner Bank stand southern end just beyond the penalty area, above me anytime they want! It's so f***ing loud it's ridiculous. Also, which muppet decided to play 'music' at full blast right up until the referee blew his whistle to start the match? Both sets of fans were trying to sing, but were being drowned out by some shite 'music'. It's a football match with a decent crowd that can generate it's own atmosphere. The music should stop once the teams are on the pitch and both the sponsors and mascots have left the pitch.

Was surprised they said they had improved it, it was exactly the same as before. It was worse than before . In Riverside Lower we couldn’t make out anything and we’ve never had a problem here before. Surely someone could have carried out a sound check before the game.

We finished a disastrous 3rd. And then blew our brains out! Well no we didnt. If we'd have done what it takes to keep Corboran , LOB and toffolo..then that would have been blowing our brains out...ie spending a load of money that we dont have ( on top of all the money we were spending that we dont have already ) Maybe an extra £20m that we didnt have?? To me THAT is blowing your brains out. And to what end.. finishing 10th instead of 18th ?? Because unlike when we finished 3rd, we had a very bad season injury wise.

We finally got sold by Dean Hoyle. Footloose, fancy free and all set for the future. We then do a documentary on the new owner to celebrate this brave new dawn and who do we get to narrate it? Patrick Stewart? Reece Dinsdale? The woman who was Dr Who? No! Dean Hoyle!! It’s utterly crackers. The last time we had a new dawn we signed Dwayne Holmes, Will Boyle, Danny Ward & Jordan Rhodes. Who the hell turns a fresh start into a 2012 reunion? Us, that’s who. Everything we do defies logic. How are we staying up this year? We’re upgrading our academy to sign a bunch of 7 year olds from under the nose of Stan Rowlands. Don’t worry though, we’re trying to replace pies with Marston’s chicken. We won’t win many games but our protein intake will be second to none. It’s great. Enjoy your weekends everyone. Good old Deano really is the unflushable turd that keeps bobbing back up. Fuck's sake man, just leave us alone 😂 Still rather have him than Count Ken

You keep bringing up huge transfer fees for a number of seasons now, and I don't recall anyone asking for them. But what we did do is bring in a load of old rubbish. We were lucky that no one else asked for Warnock before we did we could quite easily have ended up with another waste of a manager instead. If that had happened then we would have been relegated. It was not just down to injuries, you must have missed most of what went on last season to try that one on. If we did not blow our brains out, we seemed to try at every turn to get relegated and in the end finally got luck with Warnock.

When you said 'blow our brains out' that what I take the term to mean...I terms of financially blowing our brains out. The only way we wouldn't have 'lost Corboran' would have been to spend an awful lot of money we didnt have. Yeah we made some bad decisions and whether you think it was a major factor or not, we had a truly terrible time with injuries. Fotheringham's points per game record whilst he was manager ( achieved largely during that terrible time with injuries ) would have kept us up had he maintained it until the end of the season.

Captain. In the six games prior to him being sacked we had played 6 lost 3 drawn 3. The draws coming against Hull (were winning and totally fucked up ) Blackpool (were winning against 10 men and totally fucked up ) and Qpr (worst team in the league by then . In total freefall) . If you think , given the fixtures we had left, we were on course to stay up, I would respectfully suggest you're puddled . It was getting worse and worse despite him telling us it was getting better and better. His reputation in the dressing room was less than zero. We were a dead man walking.

Fotheringham was taking us down, no doubt whatsoever in my mind. Come back in 5-10 years time and we’ll see then what he’s done in the game. My prediction is he will not coach or manage any higher than the 2nd tier of Scottish football and even that is too high based on the “job” he did at our place. A shocker of an appointment in so many ways.

Not once in Fotheringham's 20 games in charge did we venture above the bottom three. He was utterly clueless and was taking us down.
Best thing he ever did as Town manager was call me a fucking prick. He actually got one thing right!

Fotheringham's just waiting for one of the big 6 to sack their manager and then he's bound to get the call. I mean they will approach him as people like MF and Zlatan Ibrahimović don't need to do interviews or auditions Not sure if anyone knew but het he was coach in Berlin apparently. He rarely mentioned it
