Not sure if it’s been mentioned but what a save by Nichols at the end before jacks goal. On another day that goes in we lose. That’s the championship though we won we take the points and move on. UTT

There’s a few on here who need to realise when to just put their phone down and do something else. Arguing after a win like that ffs ‘And it’s a certain kind of fool who likes to hear the sound of his own name’ Eagles

Excellent result for Town, we beat Millwall away after Norwich at home back in March before the international break when all seemed lost, we returned two weeks later & lost only one of our remaining eight on the run in. Next two are pointless away Rotherham & Stoke at home (ok, we're pointless too), lets kick on & maybe go unbeaten till the October break.....It looks achievable to me from the fixtures we have..UTFT

Pretty accurate that, and yes we did have some good chances too...3 that I recall, 2 in 1st half..which fell to Ward but unfortunately he was just half a yard off the pace, otherwise this could have been a thumping win. I'd like to see the disallowed goal again as their defender seemed to block Helik, then fall over for the ref to give them a foul. Linington hasn't been a good ref for us recently (3 defeats in a row) and I was just waiting for him to give WBA a penalty..the booking of Ruffles early on seemed harsh too. That's just the boost we all need, and just at the right time too...and a totally well deserved win.

Just a shout for someone I don't think has been mentioned much specifically- thought Helik was immense in terms of dominance and organisation. I like Pearson but Helik looks a class above

Probably woke up this morning & realised he made a mistake booking Ruffels & not Hoggy.......must be the 1st game he hasn't booked him, sent Jonny off twice in the past.

Hadn't realised that Pipa had gone to the Hawthorns. After the huge coincidence that him & CC both ended up in Greece together.......After selling their souls to the devil (before or after the play off final?).

Isn't carlos a dreary fucker...he always looks like he's going to cry I listened to him on the way home on BBC RADIO Wolves/Shropshire. His English has improved and I managed to understand a couple of sentences. It was great listening to all the Baggies ring in and moan about their club - refreshing change until I got back home and read some of the comments on here 🤷♂️

I like Pearson but Helik looks a class above Helik is the best centre half we've had since Schindler. Caveat - Colwill is better now, and wasn't far behind when we had him, but didn't have the experience to lead a defence as Helik has.

It’s nice for once to be on the right side of a tight margins game. Plymouth away, we could have won but they of course took their chances. Leicester at home, no way did we deserve to lose. Norwich, enough said!. If only we had made one signature signing and brought that 15-20 goals plus striker in. I honestly think we would have a very capable and balanced side at this level. I think that's what's annoyed NW he believes with a proper striker we could have challenged the playoff spots. As in past we know a good hardworking team with a sprinkle of quality, can do very well in this league.

Hadn't realised that Pipa had gone to the Hawthorns. That should ensure a top six finish for the Snake 😉

Who is this mystery 15/20 goal striker people keep mentioning, the only one I can see that’s moved is Piero going to Lds for £12million, and he certainly wouldn’t have been on our radar, come on , let’s have some names, or are we talking unicorns?

Just as I said on the transfer rumours thread.Pick the right players and the results should come.He needs to ditch Danny though,a yard slow in thought now,use him as back-up.

That was very typical of town to win after a poor week.
Two great goals.
Rudhoni - composed finish - rocket Ronnie starting to rub off on him ?

well.... who would've called that after that negligent transfer window?!
Incredible performances all round. I've said for weeks we should be playing 3-5-2 with Headley at LWB; this is our best system and I don't know why we moved away from it.
Hogg - Best game in years, ran the show.
Rudoni - Huge improvement and two great finishes
The Zorg - Great goal and looks dangerous!
Wilkes - Had a great hour, exactly what we needed. not afraid to shoot and a genuine attack minded CM.
..
The one negative of the day, not to jump on the narrative but wow how bad was Danny Ward? Could've had 2/3, even his decision making, letting the ball run across him making angles worse - it was a woeful performance . Harratt needs to be our starting forward from now, literally now. We are hamstringing ourselves when playing Ward. 5 goals in almost 50 games is it?
When Harratt plays he scores, assists and is a handful - I'm baffled as to why he hasn't been given a start even if Ward wasn't in abysmal form.

Only managed to watch the first half but I thought this worked really well. More solid at the back and with Burgzorg and Ward up front together it gave Ward the support he needs.
Nice fluid movement between the two of them, Ward tending to drop off and Burgzorg running in behind. Without a number 9 I think that’s the way we need to go.
Wiles running in behind the midfield to pick up passes worked really well. Gave us a lot more options and he looked after the ball well. Good to have an alternative to Diarra, we’re asking too much of him to be starting every match at this stage. Great player to put on against tiring legs as well.
Needs to be Nakayama in for Ruffles though.

The midfield looked a lot more balanced with Wiles in it. Both Hogg and Rudoni were excellent which was no coincidence. Burgzorg played intelligently and took his goal well. Defensively we looked solid. Kasumu was at fault for their goal but I prefer him in the right wingback position to either Edwards or Thomas. Ruffles had a decent game but when Nakayama came on he showed that bit of class and composure on the ball that we've been lacking. All cause for optimism going forward.

Hadn't realised that Pipa had gone to the Hawthorns. I hadn't either until yesterday, in the fan-zone a competition was being run for young west brom fans, question was whats the nickname of Baggies new signing 'Gonzalo Avila Gordon', young lass was straight in there with 'Pipa', her dad might have told her.

Sorry if I've missed it but does anyone know why they weren't in the squad? Injuries, disciplinary or something else? Seems weird for neither to even make the bench. Not sure if Oggy asked the question post match, probably not!
