Its inbuilt for supporters to always fear the worst, after they equalized to make it 1-1 i would have happily accepted a draw, it was a massive bonus to get the win and whats more it wasnt undeserved, the changes made a differnce and bringing 4 subs on paid off handsomely, they had chances and we had chances in what ultimately was a really good performance from us.

Who is this mystery 15/20 goal striker people keep mentioning, the only one I can see that’s moved is Piero going to Lds for £12million, and he certainly wouldn’t have been on our radar, come on , let’s have some names, or are we talking unicorns? Unicorns are good with their feet but no good at headers.

Irrespective of any injuries big changes were needed after last weeks debacle, we made them and got the rewards.

I thought before the season started that this one is going to be jack rudonis season
He's getting better all the time...let's hope it's with us he goes to the Premier league...cos that's where he's going
Shrewd bit of business buying up and coming talent...he's a lovely temperament too

Only 7 players scored 15 or more last season. Includes multi million pound movers Piroe, Apkom, Tella and Gyokeres. Of the remaining 3, 2 are at Millwall who didn’t make the play offs despite 30+ goals from them. (Morris was promoted with Luton). 15+ goals a season players are pretty rare and either hugely expensive or soon move on.

Well some of our supporters think they grow on trees and seem to blithely think we should be picking one, the reality of finding a regular goal scorer doesn’t appear to fall within the thought process of some supporters. A target man with mobility would have been nice but why waste money on someone unsuitable , hopefully the squad will come good and contribute, Rudoni should be good for at least 10, and Wiles has scored frequently in the near past. Thanks for the info on last seasons goal scorers .

Isn't carlos a dreary fucker...he always looks like he's going to cry He is. You can't tell what he's saying half the time. He left in suspect circumstances (did he jump ship? Or were promises on squad strengthening welched on?) Despite all that, he'd still be my no.1 choice when NW moves on.

Not for me I don't think For instance I don't think carlos would have saved us Last season with 15 games to go....and I honestly don't think wba will be promoted under him...and tbh same with David wagner You can fly under the radar being Huddersfield Town manager because our fans are happy with championship football and will take any extras we can get,,but don't expect them at all costs Carlos and wagner will not be able to just keep those teams in the championship...the owners and fans have feelings of grandeur and anything other than promotion and they will be out My prediction is that both carlos and wagner will get the sack at some point this season

Corberan had an unbelievable squad to pick from. A squad that no other Managers of recent seasons have had the pleasure to be able to pick from. Factor that in with your observations.

He took a bunch of bang average, largely underperforming players and came close to achieving a miracle with them.

Can't really argue with their omissions.
Edwards hasn't been great - although not awful - we've been undone quite a few times on his flank though, and for me stood out as quite poor v Norwich. Kasumu played a few games as right back last season and looked quite comfortable, as he did yesterday. I would be happy for him to stay in the position for the time being.
Thomas has been alright, probably as good (or as bad) as anyone else in the team so far this season, and he looks better now than the period before he left on loan last yr. If not injured, maybe the sort of character who benefits from being dropped now and again to keep him in check/ give him something to prove?

Unless Morley is joking you're right, although we did have an handfull of competent players we had a lot of Journeymen, lower league signings, and loans.

Agree, it was only ‘unbelievable’ because he coached them to that level Add Colwill LOB toffolo Sarr and Sinani to warnock squad in an even stronger championship than 2 years ago and yes Warnock would have us competing for the playoffs, CC did a good job but it was a weaker championship by far.

Corberan is still a fucking wanker no matter how much you all try and blow smoke up his arse.
Give me Neil Warnock ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.
A manager that has actually achieved some success with the club, and then came back to save us, putting him even higher than he already was in the eyes of Town fans.
And a manager that outwitted the so-called "top class coach" and supposedly "one of our greatest ever managers" yesterday.

It's been done to death anyway, he left, he's not coming back and we have a far better manager in charge now who has actually achieved some success in his career.

A top coach that still hasn't done anything. ‘Still’ - 3 years as a head coach in England. He's managed five clubs and hasn't won one medal. They tossed him out on his ear after a couple of months each in Cyprus and in Turkey. They'll soon get pissed off with him at West Brom if they're not in the play-offs (which he already bottled last season). If he spends 40 years in the game, he won't achieve a smidgen of what Neil Warnock has achieved in football.

Oh and we backed him when so many clubs would have sacked him with his diabolical record to start with. So forgive me for not joining you in the Corberan fan club / appreciation society. I have no idea how there are any members. But clearly you are.

I agree he won’t win as much, but I do think he’ll manage at a higher level. Anyway, we’re never going to agree when it comes to CC so probably best to not start this again!

With three games to go, they were two points off the play-offs with a game in hand on everyone. To be fair to him, he did his usual trick of signing a new contract and then having an awful run afterwards. Although it wasn't as bad as his 3 wins in 27 here, it was just 8 wins in 23. He'll probably get the Leeds job because they seem to be convinced he's some sort of Bielsa clone. They'll soon cotton on to him and realise he's anything but. At least Bielsa played some good stuff.
