Thought he struggled last night and the game passed him by a bit with Stoke’s physicality but he put himself about and hit a lovely strike on his left which looked destined for the top corner.
For his age and limited appearances in the Championship he’s doing absolutely fine.

Plenty for the new guy to sort out. It will be interesting to see how players get used.

Tough for him last night when our only tactic in the first half was the long ball.
For some reason when we had possession we had a back 3, REG just in front and then a line of 6 players as far up the pitch as possible. The only option was to smash it long.

Just thought Kian was a little lost last night, didn’t seem the same fight from him as normal, he has got something but not quite ready to play / start week in week out much prefer him coming on as a sub. Thought Koroma and Zorg did well together however.

Still seen a few digs at club this week that we only have one first team striker, so I was wondering - at what point will people accept Kian Harratt as exactly that? What's your cut off point?
X amount of games? X amount of goals? Turns 24 years of age?
From what I've seen he's already contributed really positively this season and is worthy of his place in the squad at the moment.

It's always going to be subjective. At his stage of development, would you be happy with him starting 40+ games in a season, or is he better getting the occasional start but having the option to pull him out now and again? Striker options here: Ward Harratt Hudlin Koroma Burgzorg Jones With Simpson and Phillips to come back from loan. In terms of sheer numbers we're fine up front. Even accounting for the fact that some of those would nominally be placed in other positions. The concern I have is how many of those could play the lone striker/central in a 3 role? Ward is the only proven option. The rest need a strike partner (or to prove themselves). Unless you can develop that within the existing players or bring someone in, we're missing some flexibility.

When he starts scoring goals, I think. We need a 15+ goal striker at the club.

Throwing any career he had away this lad I was about to say that, clearly a decent talented lad. Its a real shame he can't just knuckle down and frame. We will probs never know if he could become a regular goalscorer at this level.

Staking over 8 grand and losing 3 and a half grand of it in three years is a lot for someone who won't have been on a very big wage during that time. Thats just on football. Assume he'll have been betting on other sports. Hope he gets the help he clearly needs...

A chance to earn a decent and respectable living doing something that many kids would swap in a heartbeat & this is the result.
I know he’s an interesting character, but he’s either ignoring any advice he’s being given, or not receiving it.
Not the first & most certainly won’t be the last young lad to throw this sort of opportunity away of course…

Trouble seems to follow him around. I've been told about other things as well. Wonder where he will get without football.

I think the FA have been very fair in this. Although a life ban would have been morally difficult to justify, it was an option that was legally available to them.
He can count himself very lucky.

I'm all for supporting people with gambling addictions, and if it were up to me I'd seriously restrict gambling around football. But if you read the FA documents around the case he says that basically he did it because he didn't think it was serious and that he wouldn't get caught. It also mentions that he is of good character, which seems unlikely given his previous brushes with the law. He's chucking away what could be a decent career, and has no one else to blame. Best for the club to get rid.
