The club need to get rid ASAP!
Constantly dragging the clubs name through the mud.
Could have had a half decent career if he wasn't such an idiot.
Maybe him moving to a different country away from family and friends would do him some good?

A chance to earn a decent and respectable living doing something that many kids would swap in a heartbeat & this is the result. I know he’s an interesting character, but he’s either ignoring any advice he’s being given, or not receiving it. Not the first & most certainly won’t be the last young lad to throw this sort of opportunity away of course… send him ti port Vale with Moore, that should be enough punishment

The kid has talent but clearly is a prat away from the pitch. He’ll either be a rough diamond that can be buffed and polished up, or he will end up back in amateur football throwing away the chance he has.
I think if there is something else waiting to come out, and the club are aware, they need to be moving him on this Summer one way or another. We jettisoned Hammill (correctly) and we don’t need kids sullying the club’s name.
Give him support but make him aware his time is up at the club.

The fact he opened up a betting account the day after his 18th birthday should have been a warning sign.

FWIW I don't think it's right to draw any comparisons between someone who assaulted paramedics, and someone who has hare-coursing, FA betting violations and potentially something else of which we have no idea the nature of. Adam Hammill is absolute dog dirt.

Could be remembering wrong, but wasn't Hammill convicted of assault while he was on loan with us but before he signed permanently? Either way, he was a moron too.

Ian Evatt at Bolton has massive gambling debts, do not know the full story, but B.W.F.C are helping him out.

Could I please remind everyone of Harry Toffolo. A very, very much loved member of Huddersfield Towns first team squad and fan favourite during his time here from Jan 2020 - July 2022. From January 2014 - March 2017, between the age of 18 and 21, he placed 375 bets on football matches. Including 40 bets on his own team, 15 of those against his team. At the time he was contracted to Norwich and played on loan at Swindon, Rotherham, Posh and Scunthorpe. www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/12961971/harry-toffolo-nottingham-forest-defenders-poor-mental-health-accepted-as-mitigation-for-betting-breachesThere seems to be a lot of similarities between the 2 cases. Toff turned out to be a fantastic player and model pro. Becoming a fans favourite during his time at Town. Perhaps we shouldn't rush to "Get Rid" of Kian just yet......

A young lad , who blatantly needs some help in setting standards in his life, grasp the opportunities ahead of you KH and stop being a fucking moron, you might think you are clever but in years to come if you don’t grow up you will look back and think what a complete fucking moron you’ve been. Personally if I was KN I would get rid as you , your so far from being irreplaceable , if your lucky enough to stay on towns books do yourself a favour and question who exactly you are surrounding yourself around , because you need people who REALLY care to tell you some home truths .

I think the FA have been very fair in this. Although a life ban would have been morally difficult to justify, it was an option that was legally available to them. He can count himself very lucky. Or very unlucky when you see what Toffolo got for betting

Adam Hammill is absolute dog dirt. Absolutely they are different and assault is of course unacceptable, but my point was that he’s dragging the club’s name through the mud. Again. If the kid needs help, get him help, but I suspect we need to be easing him into a move away for his own good. The FA document is quite damning of him in parts.

Third post on this thread suggesting he's got talent. When has he ever shown he's got anything like the talent needed to be successful at this level? Or even in the lower divisions, his loan spells have been poor to say the least. Get rid, his attitude stinks.

His continued misbehaviour doesn't do him any favours, especially as Town would want to protect their asset and try to help him. Hare coursing is pretty bad. Did I hear he is from a Romany family? That might make matters difficult for Town in an employment tribunal, if he were dismissed. Not like me to appear reactionary, but one has limits.

How about taking responsibility for your own actions? He's 21 FFS not 12. He was 18 when he started. Just out of nappies then. It's one of 3 things we're talking about, 2 known and one as yet unknown. Sometimes you just have to hold your hands up and say it's not worth the effort or cost.

The fact he opened up a betting account the day after his 18th birthday should have been a warning sign. And was he using someone else's account before then? Can't imagine he suddenly decided to start gambling as he turned 18. Obviously, much more difficult to prove.

Well at least it’s out in the open and he’s unlikely to be foolish enough to do it again. The lad is an injured talented goal scorer with a lot to prove. I think he’s inevitably going to be loaned out because he needs time away from the club after apologizing to his team. From there it’s going to go one of two ways. He’s either going to show us that he doesn’t have a shot in the championship, or that he can be a Brody Spencer, come back a fierce competitor, habit kicked, where the sky is the limit. Either way, I doubt he’s playing for town again without hard graft and genuine growth off the field.

Listening to Under The Cosh, there have been many cases of similar occurrences, as players of yore tell tales of what happened in their day. More often than not, the stories end with a sentence to the effect that there is more support available today, and that it is not easy to get upto those old tricks. later in the season Don't know where I'm going with this, but he's out for the season now, and it is pointless doing a Toney, and inviting him back for training, as it will then be close season.
Depending on what counts as "football related activity", besides sending him on gambling awareness course and anything else applicable, he should be made to sell golden gamble tickets on match days, accepting whatever opprobrium is said to him, and sweep the stands on other days. Otherwise, who knows how he would spend his newly found spare time?
