We looked a threat from practically every set piece in 21/22 with Sorba's in-swingers from the left and Sinani's from the right. Somebody lend Ireland the DVD... The much maligned Sinani. How I wish we had him in the team now. I didn't rate him and his career since suggests I wasn't far off. Popped up with some good goals and assists that season but in general play I thought he was usually either anonymous or stood out for giving the ball away too often

We could probably do with him right now to be fair though. Never his biggest fan but he was decent for Town.

He's having a good season. I'm always impressed by how fit he appears to be, and helped by the fact he isn't carrying any timber (compared to some like T.Edwards who admittedly is the extreme opposing example)...
With an out-and-out number 9 he would probably have 10 assists to his name this season.

That's a stat which is going to annoy an awful lot of people on here. If he's so accurate then when Rhodes comes back he'll score at hatfull then. They combined nicely to take us to Wembley.

Played like Becks v Greece todaty; absolutely brilliant.
This season Sorba has matured, chases everything and has quality - even goes on his left foot sometimes.
He's a leader in the team now and plays like it. Such a good performance, he didnt deserve to lose today.
If the club has put their hand in their pocket for a propert striker we'd see Sorba top of the assists charts.

Give him a contract extension, continues like this, we have a big big problem on our hands. We will end up losing him. As PP and Dillinger have said, if we can get some good strikers, and creative 10, his assists, AND his goals will dramatically increase.
At this rate, if we're looking to keep him, I'd be offering an extension and have him as vice captain next year.

Lack of effort from Wiles and Rudoni cost us tonight.

I am not sure I agree with the assesmsent of Wiles either - he does try, just isn't fit enough

Only negative from him was a lot of his set pieces were quite poor. Apart from that, very good performance

Quality effort from Sorba tonight to go with some great skill, no way did that feller deserve to be on the losing side.
I wouldn't find fault with anyone tonight, they all gave it their all.
Wiles is an odd one, I know he looks unfit but I'm wondering if the reason he passed his medical was that he is physically fit, he's just mentally scarred from a terrible injury.

Exceptional tonight, bar a few aforementioned set pieces.
Almost Rooney-esq at times, that the best I've seen him play as a number 10.

Absolutely superb. Best performance for Town tonight imo. Has so much energy and linked well with Wiles . Not just this though - his attitude is first class and he looked absolutely gutted when Boro scored the winner.

His performances this season are an absolute indictment of the Buzz appointment. He was completely mismanaged, basically. His overall game has improved when compared to his break-out season in 21-22. Quality of his set pieces has declined a bit, but during that season he was a bit of a one-trick-pony who didn't do a great deal in open play. Offering so much more now.

Rudoni excellent again and wiles showing plenty of ability. Bizarre comment I'll just leave it with Steve Chicken in his report from We Are Terriers. Stepping up to fill his [Burgzorg's] shoes was Sorba Thomas, who put in the best individual attacking performance this stadium has seen from a home player for a long time.

Glad Sorba getting plenty of praise - outstanding last night. To think he used to be called lazy, rarely have I seen a player put so much effort into a game. Get a decent striker up alongside him playing like that and the goals will start to flow for us.

His back up play is exceptional this season, will be very surprised if there is no interest in him in the upcoming transfer window.

Sorba looks like a totally different player again. Back to the performances he put in under corboran before his Wales call up. Maybe its no coincidence hes out of the wales set up and can focus on his club football?
He just looks like he is enjoying his football again..happy to be at this club now ( because he certainly didnt look it before for a while ).. hes building a relationship with the crowd again..was leading the celebrations after the blackburn game. His energy levels were top notch last night. never stopped running.
And Rudoni is a quality player. Brilliant signing by Town for about £800k. We'll do well to hold on to him because a lot of clubs will be watching him.

Hope they play him in a more forward role - he deserves this recognition.

The cruel irony of when we had Mounie, we had Diakhaby & Mbenza on the flanks.
Now we have Sorba out there, we have Hudlin or Harrett to aim at.
