I’ve been a critic of his but I thought he was very good today. Although not everything comes off, he tries to make things happen and put a hell of a shift in. Someone said it before but he does show the characteristics of a captain.

A* for effort. He’s certainly stepping up.
Though he’s not good enough and shouldn’t be our go to man going forward. He needs to be at RM / RWB for me, whipping balls in. You can tell when he gets in front of goal that he just doesn’t have the quality to put chances away.

He was very good today and gave 100% but his passing can be awful at times and how did he miss that headed chance?

Certainly running his nads off for a move away

Certainly running his nads off for a move away That should be what every single one of them is doing week in week out...trying to improve theirselves and the career they leave behind...professional football is over in a blink. Well done Sorba.

I’ve a lot of respect for him. Unbelievable attitude and work ethic and it was great to see him organising the younger players. He’d look better if we had a proper striker to get on the end of his crosses. Shoe in for the next Welsh squad in this kind of form.

I totally agree he needs to be on the right, but he very clearly is good enough. 8th in the league for chances created, more than double our next best in Koroma, 3rd in the league for expected assists, and currently our best player IMO. It isn't his fault we don't have a striker.

He needs to be setting them up doing what he does best, beating a man and whipping a ball in.

He was very good today and gave 100% but his passing can be awful at times and how did he miss that headed chance? Him actually heading it was a start, he used to do whatever he could to avoid doing that. I don't think it was an easy chance, he had to aim for inside the far post.

I think going on loan to Blackburn and not really pulling up trees there and then getting left out of the Wales squad have been the wake up calls he needed. Long may it continue

I'm not a fan of DM but I'm sure he probably deserves a lot of credit for this, Sorba has gone from looking like a sulky kid on the pitch to captain material over night. As has been said its a shame we've no-one to get on the end of his crosses. Also our set pieces are piss poor since DM came in. We've got Sorba's delivery, Pearson, Helik and Lees in the box but I don't remember us even getting anything on target. Used to be a strength, seems to be a weakness now.

It is bizarre, especially with a set piece coach in board. The deliveries are all far too deep to be effective, deliberately by the way players are lined up so not really down to Sorba.

Poor today, tried too hard and too many misplaced passes.
His freekicks and corners were devasting until we've decided to play them short or hang them up deep and try to win a second ball in a scrap.
I can't fathom the tactical decision to not whip a ball in when we have Helik, Lees, Pearson, Rudoni, Pearson etc on the pitch - it was our biggest weapon under Carlos.

Simon Ireland needs to pull his bloody finger out. So far he's proved that not having a set piece coach is better than having one!

We'll probably have one game where 2 or 3 come off and he'll bugger off to Blackburn.

Been told to do it by the free kick specialist. So far he's managed to fuck up the only thing we were OK at.

We looked a threat from practically every set piece in 21/22 with Sorba's in-swingers from the left and Sinani's from the right. Somebody lend Ireland the DVD...
