All in all a move for the guy would suit him, us, and his future with Wales. Let’s hope we have an agreement informally with Nantes over a fee. They have but it's not an obligation. I think it is around the 4 million mark

Hopefully he does well and we get a decent fee for him.
Can't really see him doing much unless he improves his attitude and works on his game.
He can take a decent set-piece and dribble but that's about it at the moment. Great bit of business getting rid of him and Rudoni for good fees

I thought there was something there with Rudoni but he was very much fur coat and no knickers in the end

He was in a 'bedding in' stage for two seasons with us. Wonder when he's going to 'kick on' in his career and show consistent performances? 🤔

Wonder when he's going to 'kick on' in his career and show consistent performances? 🤔 Well he was born the same year as Headley and is younger than Jacob Chapman, and yet he's got 175+ appearances under his belt, so he seems to be doing ok. (seems like League 1 is probably his natural level to me)

How we could do with his set piece deliveries.
I can’t recall one today that was even half decent, maybe one of the corners we had in the first half, but everything else was executed so poorly.

Sorba suffered racist abuse after yesterdays match online.

Sorba suffered racist abuse after yesterdays match online. Not sure what happened but he came on after 80 minutes with Nantes leading 2-1 and went off on 92 minutes with them losing 3-2. Had a rating of 5.8 on Sofascore which suggests he did something to cause one of the goals. Even if he picked the ball up and booted it in to his own net it wouldn't excuse racist abuse.

Looks like he got injured. My app shows all the subs got bad ratings, I'm guessing it was down to them getting dominated in the 2nd half.

I've been paying the occasional visit to their Jaunetvert forum since the summer. A few of them had him sussed after their first league game - to translate & paraphrase: Good set piece delivery, but what else does he offer? Lacks the athleticism to play at top level. As they continue to struggle to win games, he's become the target for increasing criticism over his half-hearted defensive work. After this latest defeat he's been variously described as: "amateur", "tourist", "un recrutement catastrophique", "a lamb amongst wolves", "like playing with 10 men". One forum member suggests that the good news from last night is that, as long as the manager keeps his job, they at least won't see ST again. I think Hoss Cartwright needs to start sounding out potential buyers in Turkey - They thought he was absolutely ace in that Wales Nations League game a couple of months ago...

How dare they?! Don’t they know who he thinks he is? He’s best mates with Gareth Bale too, he’ll have you know …

Sorba is such a Turkish Super Lig signing. Not quite Besiktas, Galatasaray, Fenerbahce level. But he fits that niche of Town player who you could also definitely see playing for Adana Demirspor one day. Like Helik, Burgzorg, Tino Anjorin, and Pipa.

Hoped he'd do well there so they could take him off our hands permanently. Bellamy keeps picking him for Wales for some reason?
We should have put a compulsory buy option into the loan.

To be fair he was getting abuse on here when he was our most productive player. There's just something about him, is attitude on the pitch, his body language, social media output that seems to get people's goat.

Yet, if you listen to people on here, he’s a world beater. Set pieces aside, he’s just not very good. The amount of times he lost the ball for us so easily showed how little quality he had
