He ran at them a couple of times last night, in truth he could have done it 10 times. Thats my only observation on him, the rest has been a positive improvement in his all round game. He likes having the ball, stifling players who like having the ball didnt help us under DM. Losing the ball in their last third is far less of an issue than losing it in our half, you have to let those who like having the ball up the pitch, have it. Having Spencer behind him down one side and Pearson supported by Rudoni down the other helps no end.

I think you will find that he ran at them more than a couple of times. He did it at least. 3/4 times in first 15 mins. He just got tired towards the end.

Agree with all that but a shame that he has two such glaring weaknesses in that he can’t head the ball as he’s always been soft as shite in going for 50/50 tackles. We should get Pearson on the wing then. That'll sort it. 🤪 To be fair he put in a wicked cross for Danny Ward's goal against Preston, more than I've ever seen Saka do so get him signed up as first choice right wing Gareth

Watch the runs, there are only a couple with real determination to get right into their box and force the challenge. Its an observation not a real criticism, he may have been pretty much on his own had he run forward once or twice, but that never stops the real wideman..

Year #1 was wide-eyed exuberance and living out his childhood dreams. I remember one of the senior pros telling an anecdote about how they had to explain to him how his win bonus worked. Year #2 he struggled to adapt to the changed status his bumper new contract implied. The team struggled, it wasn't fun anymore, and the immaturity we'd all loved the year before manifested itself as petulance. Year #3 he's adjusted, reassumed the work ethic that earned him his opportunity in the first place, and grown into one of the senior members of the squad. Win and you get a bonus, don't win and you don't get a bonus, is there more to it he'd need to figure out?

You would be hard pressed to find a player so good so under appreciated by their own fans. He is one of the best players in the league. In a side scrapping for relegation he has created the 2nd most chances in the league. Without him we'd be down already.

Can you imagine Sorba in a team where:
Manager setups up with a high press, fast flowing attacking setup.
With a back 5 similar to (not necessarily these but similar to): Nicholls, Spencer, Helik, Raldinho, Headley? And in a front 4 of Himself, Koroma, Burgzorg, Healey/Bojan?
We'e not even seen the very best of Sorba this year, because DM played him in RB, RWB, In the hole, Lone striker etc, think the only position hes not played him in was GK.
He's been different gravy for us for a while now too.

Looked knackered on 70m mins, he needs resting soon. What a top player he's been for us though. He held us together when the going was rough and he's leading us out of the mess. Player of the year so far Between him and Helik IMO, although Sorba just edges it for me. It's going to take something pretty spectacular for anyone else to break into the top two for POTS because even when as a whole we've been shit, those two have been great.

He is quality!!!
Under Worthy the confidence is flowing and he looks like a yard quicker.
He is a winner so gets annoyed at times - nothing wrong with that.
He has only just turned 25…still young and maturing in to an excellent player with talent, work-rate and willingness to win. He is a gem - the longer we keep him the better.

The good news is, he can’t shoot very well so there’s no chance of someone paying silly money to get him!
We need to nail him down on a long contract. He can go on to be a Town legend.

Crossing on his left foot has added new options. I could never understand us playing him left hand side when he was so predictable.

Sorba voted B&W Foundation player of the month for Feb. IMO absolutely spot on and completely deserved. Hope he is back for Saturday.

Hopefully those sleepless nights don't derail his superb form. He's been outstanding the last few months and looks very much like a Premier League player in the making which I'd have never thought likely 12 months ago.

Better shooting and a bit more consistent crossing and even in the Championship we'll be at pains to keep hold of him

Starting a family might be a reason why he looks a different player this season. means hes settled and maybe putting behind him some of the 'childish' stuff thats maybe not done him any favours in the past?
he seems to have gone from a lad who really didnt want to be here and wasnt enjoying playing for us, to someone with a smile on their face whos built back that relationship with the fans again. And his games SO much better as a result.

I remember Anthony Pilkington went on an amazing run for us after becoming a Dad for the first time. Think it was similar for Wayne Rooney at Man Utd. Hopefully the same for Sorba, though he's starting from a fairly high bar

Quite an experienced player now, but I dont see him as a leader. Might be for some of the young lads especially those who've moved here from down south. But still get the impression hes quite a marmite character in the changing room. I dont think him and Pearson exchange Christmas cards.

I think he's more a lead by example type, I can imagine he can be hard work but out on the pitch when he's being brave, running his arse off and always looking to make something happen that's a different type of leader.

Totally agree with this. He leads by example. This season he’s energised the team with his running and enthusiasm. Hopefully with KN in charge we will be able to hold on to him because I can imagine we’ll be receiving some offers for him in the Summer.
