So how much will DM try to change for tonight? I'm thinking and hoping not much at all? Wonder if he's had any sort of handover with Neil and Ronnie? I'm assuming the new coaching team will have watched a LOT of videos to understand how we've been playing. I don't see one day or whatever they have had will give any time whatsoever to try anything new, should just be a case of picking the team, motivating the players and managing in game, bit like a caretaker manager would.
Do we know if Hogg is fit?

Do we know if Hogg is fit? DM said he was going to give Warnock a ring for a chat. If Warnock wants to talk to him about the squad, great. But he might just say “It’s your problem now Darren. Are You with me? Work it out for yourself”. Or similar.

Moore needs to find a way to cut out those silly defensive mistakes and for players to take all those scoring chances that crop up
Strange in a way as most of our players seem to panick in front of goal instead of being cool ,calm and collective
Moore and his team might be able to address both problems then onwards and upwards

This has 0-0 written all over it. Would take that, keeps us ticking along nicely and a clean sheet, whilst its pretty uninspiring stuff, if the game is heading that way I'd be more than happy to nick it 1 nowt in the last few minutes.

Are You with me? Work it out for yourself”. Or similar. I'd be interested to get a bit more from Warnock on what he was on about with Kasumu's injury...especially as it was wrapped in good updates on the other injured players ( and a special glowing report on Ruffels - the player who signed a new deal that is represented by the agency that his son works for) so it wasn't as though he was riled up when talking...did he mean he's "not bothered" about Kasumu simply because he (Warnock) had now left and it wasnt his problem, or was he "not bothered" because he has had an issue working with Kasumu. Context from the Examiner >> "Hogg and Ward were close but not quite. Tom Lees was going to play for the B team tonight but that was cancelled so it was good to have him on the bench. "I don't know how David Kasumu is and I'm not bothered! "I'm not sure what Ruffels' issue is - knee or muscle or something. He's been brilliant for me. It's so nice to see lads so genuine."Likewise I found his comments on Jake Edwards intriguing... "That is football, isn’t it, and the club's been good regarding the commitment to the contracts, etc, so they're not sponging on anything or trying to pull anything out. I've always got on really well with Jake Edwards you know? I think he’s a bit green in that respect, but you know, he’s not been in football over here for very long, but he's learning quick, and I think he’ll be a really good leader of the club.”
Did he mean Jake was a bit green because Neil had pulled the wool over his eyes a bit with the contract he signed, knowing he'd get a full years pay etc...or some other reason? Not really sure he'll help Moore out much if he gives him a call either! As to what sort of job the new gaffer will take on, Warnock said: “I haven’t got a clue, and I'm not bothered either really now…it's up to them, isn’t it? They've kicked me out, so let them sort it out, not me.

I’m off tonight. Unbeaten in the last two seasons. Granted I’ve only been to three games*, but the stats point to a point at least.
*Fulham away Forest away Sunderland away

Compliments with one hand, a dig with the very next. Classic Warnock comments that emphasise just how good he is at media manipulation and giving himself the upper hand. You can absolutely see why he's a "unless he's yours you hate him" character. His number one priority is Brand Warnock.

The club tried to handle the transition sensitively allowing him to have a swansong before announcing Moore - to the likely detriment of tonight's match as it limited the time DM has had with his new squad. NW will then be happy to take the full value of his contract, so effectively still employed by the club, but not prepared to contribute further should he be approached. I'm not advocating he chips in if he isn't asked but to blank any request he might receive makes the things he said about the club / fans on his departure ring very hollow to me.

TBH I thought Neil was just adding a bit of humour to the press conference. I wouldn't take any of what he said to heart.

Not sure I'd be too bothered if the place I worked for decided to replace me either! I suppose we'll soon see how the squad react to the change. Here's hoping Darren Moore's attacking style of football picks us up a few wins, starting with tonight.

Bar Thomas that’s probably the best team we can put out, let’s hope for a positive performance.

5 at the back, jackson right wingback? Jackson played right wing back, second half against stoke and seem to do well. He seem to fair better against Johnson than Thomas had.

Can't argue too much with that team selection - as good as it could be with our tiny resources. None of the subs - Thomas, Harratt etc - can claim they've been playing well regularly this season.
