Its an 'extreme exaggeration' that Holland..just like every other country and every club, have had plenty of spurious decision go their way over the years? Holland stand alone in the game of football as the one team this hasnt happened to? Ironically the sort of deluded claim Donald Trump would make if he was a whinging Holland fan this afternoon! And youve got the nerve to call other people brainless! So far all you have given is assumptions. Someone calls you out to back up your statements, which you have not even attempted to. I dont have the knowledge of the Dutch national teams history . But I really dont think I need to in order to make the assumption that they have benefitted from many spurious refereeing decisions over the years. Because EVERY TEAM HAS!!! Unless you are going to tell me Holland are the one team that hasnt in the whole history of football. Just Holland,,,maybe 3 times theyve benefited.. No one can name 4.  |

He paid £400 each including accommodation but he didn't realise when he bought them months ago that it was going to be the same day as his wedding!
If you are interested, he is looking for someone to take his place!! It's at Brighton Registry Office, at 4pm.

So is everyone having a quite Fri/Sat & saving themselves for Sunday or still buzzing from Wednesday & going on a 3 day SESH? Think I might slip out for a few tonight & watch the roses match (cricket) plus Wigan v Saints (RL) is usually good viewing.......Reckon more than a handful will miss the game on Sunday by going out way too early, not sure where I will be yet but pacing yourselves is key to enjoying the final...England on pens..ICH

And for some reason when it's cold I cant last 30 minutes in!  |

The only thing that will do my head in, will be the incessant hype we see in the next 2-3 days. I know it’s the way of the world now, but I’d love to be able to compare the Spanish media with the English media. I think it must be impossible for them to be any more fever pitch than our media, probably because they’ve actually won things in recent yrs.
At least I’ve plenty to be getting on with this weekend, so will avoid the usual stuff until Sunday evening.

It's uniquely toxic and rabble rousing, and the fans eat it up. Morata is retiring from international duty at the end of the tournament because he's so fed up of how he's spoken about by them. They also have an element of 'Spanish when we win, foreign when we lose' about their players from immigrant backgrounds, Catalans, etc. |

Can anyone explain to me why the Dutch player was booked after the winning goal? Pretty much straight afterwards, but there was nothing to suggest any fouls in the build up, so just curious as to why he was moaning to the Ref? Think he was just mouthing off to ref. |

I'll be watching the final in my living room in the hoose in the North West of Scotland. The wife is a Leither* and very Scottish, but she likes a good game of football (she loves penalties - she'll be praying for them in fact).
The thing is... if I'm watching a game live at the John Smiths, I don't drink, I want all my wits about me, because I like to take in the whole experience. I've got this gift of turning my ears off to everything that happens around me.
Similarly, on Sunday, I can't imagine going out to a bar and getting inebriated with a load of strangers. Just park me in front of the telly.

Cornish Pasty out of Greggs before the game washed down with a pint of beer.
Currently on 3 wins out of 3 using that sequence when down Huddersfield.
Might even do the beer in one of the local pubs up here😁

Tonight's the night (Its gonna be alright), the way to win finals doesn't need to be attractive (Town fans should know) & entertaining like the Spanish have played the whole tournament (& GS will never copy them) its all about winning by any means now & the Town way is how England can achieve this tonight......0-0 (@7/1) & England on pens (@8/1), a bit boring but it will mean at last, ICH.

Many are quoting fate and the fact England’s Name is on the Trophy after late goals and the win on penalties but in reality that means nothing.
Let’s perform well give it our best shot and hope that proves enough to emerge victorious. No regrets and no hard luck stories and let’s win this and not be gallant in defeat just for once.
