If I was Kevin I really wouldn’t be trusting any more money to those who have poured millions of my hard-earned down the toilet so far. I wouldn't blame him either. The issue then is we end up having a manager who can't improve the squad and isn't backed, and a squad that is already needing a new set of fresh faces (ones who don't have an injury record, and to replace those that have an ingrained losing habit/mentality) lacking. Replacing Cartwright is the answer IMO. However, who do we replace him? One thing that strikes me was when we had Ross Wilson, and Stuart Webber they were young, ambitious and mightily eager to impress to use the club as a positive platform to advance their career. Which they did. Do we go that approach again, or a seasoned/experienced DoF?

And gave us 13 years of great memories and Premier league football Yet the bloke we have now seems to be cursed...Premier league in 3 years...its more like vanarama in 3 years It took DH a while. KN may have underestimated the challenge prior to his 3 year ambitious plan being made public, but he has not said the ultimate target has changed. He isn’t saying much at all isn’t KN, gone very quiet.

Laid in bed, listening to the sports bulletins, which lead with Man U’s owner’s comments about his club manager. Ratcliffe is in a many times magnified situation than Nagle is in - whatever he says about the manager is examined and then criticised. Even if he’d refused to comment, it would be a story. This is exactly the same as with KN, but, unlike Ratcliffe, KN only has a few folk on here checking his opinions.
In both cases, Less is More. Enjoy the Silence

To be communicative doesn’t mean to take the approach Kevin’s taken. I was one who lambasted Hoyle for his wall of silence he’d created to protect himself from further criticism of the way he’d plundered the club. However, that doesn’t mean you have to have your chairman engaging on Twitter and datm on the way he’s doing, creating unnecessary headlines and pressure on the club. So whilst you raise a fair point mate, I’ll counter it by saying that there is a balance and his approach is not that. Nothing I’m saying here won’t be anything that the communication team won’t be saying or thinking. plundered the club to the extent that he remains tens of millions of pounds out of pocket! I should hope so!! It's not free owning a football club. He went into it with eyes open with a view to losing millions because he could afford to and he wanted to. I'm grateful that he did but struggle to understand why people think he's unfortunate to 'lose' millions. He got an absolute bargain when you look at the journey he went on with the club. He made sure it was a bargain by trying to recoup as much money as possible which is his right. Some people agree with it, others don't. Also factor in the potential opportunity cost of other owners during his tenure. Maybe we'd have festered in L1 and 2 without Dean or maybe we'd have been taken over by an even wealthier owner and be a top championship or premier League side by now. Main point is, he got his money's worth.

I do think however that plundered is an emotive and inappropriate word to be using - it's definition is to steal by force. I don't see how even those most critical of how the club was run under his tenure can accuse him of stealing from the club.

I agree with 99% of everything you post on here ben, but tbf one of the most discussed things on here and on twitter before Nagle took over was the fact the club and Hoyle had zero communication with fans, complete silence. It got so extreme that I think many fans just wanted the exact opposite, i.e that the owner should share exactly everything. I can therefore understand if Nagle & co watched this board and town twitter carefully around the time of the takeover and thought "damn, we need to be very open and tell the fans about everything", because that was exactly what the vocal minority was asking from the club at that time. With all that said I guess there is a difference between 'communication' and whatever they have been doing so far, but I think if you go back a year and a half you will see that many fans asked exactly this of the club. As someone who is kind of neutral in this subject (I think both sides are being overly dramatic in how too much/little communication affects the club) it looks to me that it has gone from "TELL US EVERYTHING FFS OR YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT THE FANS", and then all of a sudden "NO SHUT UP YOU DUMB AMERCAN WE DON'T WANNA HEAR ANYTHING", which to me is a little cringe although I recognize it comes from mainly different parts of the fan base. To be communicative doesn’t mean to take the approach Kevin’s taken. I was one who lambasted Hoyle for his wall of silence he’d created to protect himself from further criticism of the way he’d plundered the club. To be fair, I could have made my comment without the barbed sentence and I'll take it on board I think your faux positivity and support for the club heirarchy, in the face of overwelming evidence to the contrary, is designed to wind people up. The club has gone from the premier league to a mid table 3rd division outfit and you defend them at every opportunity, usually at particular low points. That's all I'll say.

You have no idea of my life and the adversities that I have encountered and overcome. They say 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger'. My strength is to smile at adversity and counter it with positivity. Does that make me unusual? I wouldn't change it. Feeling blessed and grateful win, lose or draw

You have no idea of mine either tbh. Anyway, I apologise if I've read it wrong. But some people do get annoyed at shite performances and the fact that the club has been allowed to sink back to pre Hoyle days. I know it not life and death, but if we can't call out our frustrations (after another 0 4 home defeat eg) on a HTFC forum where can we?

I think Kevin has broad shoulders and isn't a quitter unlike some on here To quote what you said the other day, 'How dare you?!' How dare you imply that some on here are 'quitters'? When the fact is, Town fans have put up with a sub standard product for about 5 years now (with the exception of one season) While it is not for anyone to attack your optimism, it is equally not for you to attack anyone's well earned frustration, especially given that your predictions of 'wait and everything will be fine' have repeatedly turned out to be wrong. Your personal circumstances are just that, personal, and nothing to do with what is happening at the club, stop using them as a weapon to attack anyone who questions your views. As I have previously stated on other threads, I fully support KN and what (I believe) he is trying to achieve here, but that doesn't change the fact that things under his tenure thus far have gone from bad to worse, and that, despite todays win, we are an underperforming side in league one.

'Imply'? Some folk have openly stated that they've had enough and didn't renew/are no longer attending. Am I incorrect to state that as quitting? You can be a very arrogant and disrespectful young man who has no time for anyone's opinion other than your own
