He's the club owner who talks a good game. So far he's delivered relegation and a mediocre start to the season in league 1. Let's not question him though, eh? 🤔 With the mess the club was left in, I really don't know what people expect. He has put millions in both on and off the field. As an owner he has done what we want. It's those he has employed to run it (MC) He took over a club that finished 9 points above the relegation zone and had only lost one of the last 10 games. The club retained one of the most successful ever championship managers after Hoyle convinced him to stay on. That's a solid base to work from. Nagle then didn't back Warnock in the summer window with what he specifically asked for, a new striker. The club decided to blow the entire budget on a player that wasn't anywhere near fit, loaned in a RB that wasn't anywhere near fit and a winger with attitude problems. 7 games in the club then decided to sack Warnock and bring in a manager that was the complete opposite, a nice guy yes man. We dropped like a stone and the January panicked window where Nagle decided to spend was a complete disaster aswell. We brought in two strikers (finally) one had hardly played for half a season and the other hadn't really played for months and a CB with a very questionable injury record. He then kept Moore for far too long after it was clear it wasn't working, when he did finally give him the bullet he brought in a guy that had zero experience of English football. Result. Relegation after a disgrace of a season. Don't even get me started on the people he's employed to run the club. But we shouldn't question any of this? 🤔

Weirdly he's expecting the people who orchestrated that shit show to get us out of league one whilst spending a modest amount of money. Not gonna happen.

Why did we spend millions in January? 2. Why didn't we spend money in summer 2023 when we didn't have any? Can you post where this promised? 3. Why did we sack a manager that in any other career would have been sacked?

Agree, but that was on MC not KN. He provided the funds. 2. Agree again, budget wasted on Ward Koroma and Ruffels 3. Again, Agree, it would have been short lived, but he should have gone after Leeds away.

Who on god's green earth watched radulovic and thought 'he is the man for us'
That was such a shocking decision, we paid 750euro for him and id say he is worth maybe 10% of that
Only thing I think he does ok is hold up the ball.

So many words, which I have significantly contributed to, but it actually is a very simple equation. The team is not of a standard to meet the stated aims. They weren't good enough to avoid relegation and they don't look good enough to achieve promotion.
That's not being negative. That's not ranting. That's not being unpleasant to those who we hold responsible. It is a stark reality that needs to be accepted by those who can do something about it.
There's a lot said about the effort, attitude and commitment of players but if the blend of mindset and ability isn't right this level of inconsistent mediocrity shouldn't be a surprise.
Our manager speaks well, I listen to him and I think that's fair enough. However he seems to have taken a role on the basis that "give me some players and I'll see what I can do" NB: That’s my perception not something I expect would be accepted as a criticism/observation.
The real frustration, for me at least, is that off the pitch there appears to be a plan and there are visible signs of improvement. Of course for all that's important when you don't believe in the football team it really doesn't feel important.
As this, lengthy, thread says the buck stops with Kev. He'll either critically evaluate what has been done by the team he's put in place and make changes or he'll plough on hoping things will come right.
If we are going to be a successful football team then something needs to change. Well pretty much most of the fanbase think so.

Beggars belief that someone in a no doubt highly paid role scouted and paid good money for him as part of a window designed to save us in the Championship. He’s looked absolutely appalling from day one, and has looked no more effective in League 1 than he did last year. The same people behind the scenes then somehow managed to get someone who’s even worse than Bojan in the last window in the form of Freddie ‘the cart horse’.
