All Kevs mates that came on here pretending to be normal Town fans seem to have disappeared. Was it Just a guy and Castle Hill Terrier ? Here every day. Read everything. Carry on The club jumped the gun with the decision to replace Warnock. As we are seeing, there wouldn’t have been a big queue building for Darren Moore. In the time since we appointed him more established Managers have become available. We were making steady progress with NW and there was no immediate rush - even if NW expected to be back home at Christmas, we could have looked at the change in November.

One of the most annoying statements I hear is "the club are well aware of the requirement for additions to the squad".
I'm not sure they were, look at what we did in the window! They were arrogant to believe anyone can do what NW did with the sorry state of our squad.
I don't no if it's KN being naive in his team he has employed at town. I give him benefit of doubt it is. But I would hope he is talking to them employees and asking questions of what is going on and why.
KN didn't appoint DM, he trusted his team. Maybe the real arrogance is the team he employed.

Here every day. Read everything. Carry on Take note. A lot of Town fans are very intelligent, understand English football and deeply love their football club. Supporters are currently feeling very down and demoralised, we have been browbeaten by years of perceived gross mismanagement and lack of ambition by the club. Bad decision after bad decision. The club could do a lot worse than tap into that knowledge and set up an advisory supporters panel. They have the ATT panel but it's generally full of arselickers who are in it for their own status. There's one or two exceptions, but not enough. At least the HTSA take the panel seriously.

Mr Nagle has inherited a far more difficult situation than he may have realised but he needs to recognise that. Listening to constructive criticism and getting support of fans wouldn't be the worst thing he could do. We don't need anger and abuse but he does need to understand our perspective and see if we can be part of the solution. The club works better when we are aligned. In the space of 6 weeks we are as divided as we have been for a long time.

I reckon I could offer a different perspective given that I don’t live locally and have seen more games at all levels over many years than I have actually seen HTAFC (and that’s a lot). A long way for a cuppa though.

I reckon I could offer a different perspective given that I don’t live locally and have seen more games at all levels over many years than I have actually seen HTAFC (and that’s a lot). A long way for a cuppa though. I think you'd be a credible candidate who could be relied on to present a rounded view. I think people who run football clubs inform people on a "need to know" basis. There can be an inherent dismissal of fans opinions. As an example I do worry that some in charge dismiss the current discontent far to easily eg "oh people are uncomfortable because Warnock has gone" or "they're just mad because we lost to Leeds". If they do think anything like that they are missing the mark and haven't done their due diligence on the fanbase, and our general mood. From a footballing point of view we aren't so foolish not to be able to be concerned at tactics, team selection and spirit in the past five games. Now it is only five games but there are so many questions and concerns, which are backed up by media outlets (Glennon has seriously questioned what he has seen), those concerns cannot be readily dismissed. I can accept we have a big problem but I would feel better if those in charge were also concerned. Moreover we need to hear something from those in charge that they recognise this. At the moment I don't think anyone in control has any sort of a realistic view. Getting that message across and getting some feedback would be very powerful. But only if those in charge want to hear critical voices. I have said it a few times this weekend but we are in a pickle and it needs action. The first thing is to accept we are in a pickle. Fail to admit that and nothing will change. It is a long way for a cuppa but it might be a very worthwhile journey, certainly an interesting one. However I'll be impressed if more critical voices are invited (noting that I don't know what was said at this 1st event) and there is some resulting action.

Every aspect of the club, from the humble supporter to the owner needs to be together, as one. Obviously there are many disparate and sometimes possibly conflicting aspects to an organisation and a business like HTAFC, but, somehow, the club has to be united because it surely will never succeed unless it is united. If you have a united club where all parties are together, working to achieve goals that are attainable and realistic then at the very least you will have a club that has a chance to succeed. I think that is all I ask for, as a mere supporter. In theory, no limits should be placed on what HTAFC could achieve. In Feb 1998 I went to watch Brighton and Hove Albion play against Doncaster Rovers; that “home game” was played at Gillingham, 60 miles from Brighton because BHA had been kicked out from their Goldstone ground. Now look where Brighton are (yes, I haven’t forgotten about the owners financial investment).

I think everyone is hurting right now, that includes the owners, management, players and fans and everyone in between.
Creating that dialogue is a great idea because ultimately all we want is for this club to succeed.

Everyone has the same goals, but different ideas on how to get there. Whereas some may seem to want x and y as the solution, others may want p and q and as a result there will be frustration. More than happy to pass along, just want a clear cut goal that’s realistic first.

You could be mistaken for thinking us fans are spoilt brats and moan all the time. However, we are really tolerant compared to a lot of other fans. Nearly every manager including the 2 disasters last year were given a fair chance but ultimately both proved to be shocking appointments. The fans have already turned against Moore. We aren't stupid, we can see its a disastrous appointment. It's not the norm for 75%+ of the fan base to have this opinion so early on. If Warnock had to go for reasons we aren't party to then fair enough. However the board put huge pressure on themselves by sacking him. They had to get the next appointment right and they haven't. All the hard work Neil, Ronnie and the team put in has been dismantled inside a month. We are arguably as bad as when they took over in Feb and already at the point where there is a huge divide between the fans and the manager as seen yesterday.
This is not the man to keep us up or take us forward. We need an experienced championship manager. Otherwise increasing revenues will be pie in the sky and season ticket numbers will halve.

Is that not achievable and measurable? Without knowing the financial aspects (and that is just one of many factors) it isn’t easy to set goals that are realistic because I wouldn’t know the limits or restrictions, but at the very least I want to enjoy watching HTAFC. You tell me if that’s realistic, or not.

In answer to the thread.
He has asked us to be patient. He sent the same DM about the transfer window - that went well.
He is a billionaire. What’s in it for him ? That’s the question. Why has he bought a football club in England ?
Ego ?
Financial gain ?
What ? There must be a reason cause he knows nothing about football.

What Nagle and the board need to realize is that the number one priority for football fans not only at this club but every club in England, is what happens on the pitch! Talk of improved facilities, better food and drink etc is just a side show. Get it right on the pitch and fans will come, get it wrong and they'll leave in droves.

I’m not being patronising, but a real concern is the apparent lack of appreciation and understanding of the game in the UK generally and the Championship in particular. It would be good to have the ability to share this knowledge in a positive way . You will have noticed that by and large, Huddersfield Town supporters are a tolerant bunch ( notwithstanding the unsavoury minority who send messages via social media) It can’t do any harm surely?

Surely, he would not be bringing players in that he felt wouldn't help the squad? Even then, hasn't Cartwright done that with the FB Edwards & DM?

You: we want better football Me: me too You: here’s how we should do it Others: actually we should do this I’m all for open lines of communications and KN has done nothing but show he is extremely communicative and open to hearing any and all. I’m just saying “we want better football” is a universal statement. And to be honest- 95% of what i see here and elsewhere is: Sack this guy buy this guy run this formation etc I mean this with all sincerely and humility- do you think someone with the club would say “oh yeah”? It ain’t a perfect science, and if it was we all here would be paid a ton more to be football savants. But again, I’ve been here on this board since June. You all are incredibly informative and passionate. Very educating. But it’s also a toxic environment right now for reasons easy to understand. I give it a 2-1 shot that by morning I’ll be out of this thread for abuse reasons- certainly Twitter is 10 times worse.
