What happens with this bloke will be quite telling.
Just think back to the occasions we have been successful. Backroom wasn’t affected by egos (outwardly at least).
We were a cohesive unit top to bottom. This bloke feels like he’s not likely to take any blame for this relegation.
I might be wrong, but he strikes me as it all being about him. You don’t win stuff at football by having a glut of individuals and egos. They need tempering or rooting out & kicking out.
He’s now got a relegation on his CV, so it’s hardly likely he’ll be poached…

This is what happens when someone buys the club in 10 days. Clueless. Are you just gonna rant all the time about Nagle on every thread? Yeah I am, got a problem with that? You can kiss his arse all you want and try and blame everyone else but him.

Going nowhere apparently….. Neither was DM in January when Kev gave him his full backing.......4 weeks later it was 'off you pop', hopefully less this time.

Going nowhere apparently….. I'm trying to figure out which awful signings he made. It didn't work out for Burgzorg and he'll be gone. Who else?

He almost makes me long for the days of Bromby being in charge.
If Bromby had been given £5m, I’m pretty sure he’d have brought more talent in than we managed this season.

The fact he's happy to stick around at a league one side is also telling

First signing for 24-25 will be Tom Edwards on a free. You heard it here first.

i think the term "fat wanker" who is an arrogant prick comes to mind! i am telling you now Kev , get rid of this fool , i don't blame you , but i will if you let this fool carry on in a role he is stealing a wage for. I probably wouldn't have worded it quite like this but I do think that an ex professional footballer who subsequently looks more like a sumo wrestler displays a lack of personal discipline. He's by no means the only though!

Don't know why Kevin has decided to stick with him for,he has done a terrible job since coming in
Only player that actually has contributed from the January signings is Healey the rest of them haven't been good enough

I'm curious to know how the dynamic is working.
Kev says in his latest diary that he told MC to sign 5 players. Is this actually Kev's remit? Where has 5 come from? Shouldn't this be dictated by the direction set by MC?

Unfortunately the fella held in such high regard by some failed to see that we so often fell apart when he was subbed off.

Saying he was easily our best midfielder isn't really a compliment to be honest. He was, but I saw barely an ounce of actual footballing ability from him. There's much more to being a decent defensive midfielder than running around and tackling. Unfortunately, at this admittedly early stage of his career, he's worse on the ball than Kasumu; which really takes some doing.

Matos was a strange one. Really good off the ball but dear me he was dreadful with it. I don't remember seeing a professional footballer fall over or look like they're about to fall over everytime they carry the ball further than 10 yards. It was like his legs were just giving up on him
Cannot see him having much chance of making it in the Premier League when he's so poor in possession

Think it is time to lay off Cartwright and get behind him and the club. I don't hold him accountable for last summer and, whilst the January window was hit and miss, that month is notoriously difficult to bring in quality, especially when being situated in the arse-end of the league. Matos was ok, Healy looks decent, Radulovic a punt that may come off after a good preseason and Balker looked very good from the little we saw. Problem was clearly that three of the four were only fit enough ultimately to make fleeting contributions. To be fair to Cartwright, Balker had played consistently for Groningen until his virus just before Town move. Healy had been on bench for Watford regularly and had started last two games for them before we signed. Don't think you can predict their unavailability for us based on that. The one huge error on MC is the Moore appointment which made little sense from the outset. However, everyone deserves a chance at redemption so I am happy to give him more time to prove Nagle right. This club needs vision and stability more than ever. KN has the vision. Let's hope the stability pays off.

New recruitment manager/advisor joining apparently, reporting to Cartwright. Probably a long shot in the dark this one - But Celtic have just punted their recruitment guru Mark Lawwell, He seemed to come from good stock (The Manchester City Group) but spunked the best part of £20 million last summer on ‘foreign lightweight dross’ according to quite a few Hoops fans that I know and when they fell behind in the title race in March it got untenable for him and away he is... It probably doesn’t help that his daddy is the Celtic Chairman and spent around 20 years as CEO and his position was seen as very nepotistic indeed - Anyway we watch and await with interest to see who it’ll eventually be !

Shouldn't this be dictated by the direction set by MC? I wonder if it was because of the '5 players' soundbite gaff from the RL interview, that made him go to MC and say "I said 5 players on the radio, so you better go and get me 5 players"

As midlander said, it is time to lay off having a go at the Town management. We are where we are so let’s see how the summer window pans out. KN, and the rest seem fully aware of the size of the task so let them get on with sorting it out. I’m sure plenty on here will judge them, probably prematurely, but for now let’s lay off and see what happens.

has been replaced, as I think his performance this past season has been sub-standard.
