Thought Americans were meant to be ruthless in business? Not sure how you get to Nagle’s level of wealth without knowing when to pull the plug on an underperforming employee, particularly one so critical.

The idea of owning a business I know nothing about is not only scary it’s not appealing. I don’t get why Kevin bought the club only to be reliant on someone who has proven to be ineffective. I love sports but I wouldn’t add a Japanese baseball franchise to my portfolio as I barely even know the rules. I wouldn’t know who really knows the game and potential players, from Adam.

Cartwright arrogence, was plain to see. When he was asked did he worry about his job after last season and he replied "no not at all". 3 managers and a relegation and your not worried, pure arrogence almost narastic if you ask me. He seems to have an excuse waiting for everything or a fall guy for every mistake he makes. He said there would be a revamp this summer which never happened and he would give the tools for Duff, yet again it seemingly has not happened. It worries me to death to be honest that Edwards and Cartwright seem to be such good friends, therefore looking after each others best interests rather than the clubs, you then throw a fellow beswick alumni in Duff into the mix and it all seems far too pals doing it for themselves.

With all the money that Kev is pumping into the stadium, canalside etc and plans to buy the ground then you would think all this is being directed at the Team playing and competing in a higher division than the current one. So why wouldn't he spend the money and get the players in to reach that goal sooner rather than later, meaning now and get out of this division this season.Everything looks rosey on one side of the project but,it doesn't look that good were it matters on the pitch!!

Because he is listening to Cartwright. The whole striker debacle and lack of leaders in the team is where the problems lie. Hodge and Marshall apart his signings are cheap and awful.

MC will be on the blower now to KN, licking his balls, reminiscing his favourite rock band, sending him an early birthday gift, and convincing KN he's the right guy for the job to protect himself.
Wouldn't trust him at all.

Some looked good singings this summer, but ultimately we've got exactly what we paid for. Freebies and cheap options.
Kane not good enough for the bench, today was Evans best game and that tells you something. Sorensen looks to have been found out too and very lightweight.
The fact we saw Ben Wiles as an integral member of the team is extremely worrying because he's absolutely no improvement on least season, and we've dropped a league.
We don't have any individuals who can grab a game or who can come on and make something happen.
Hodge looked shocking today after initially looking promising. Imagine Duff doesn't know where to turn in all honestly. The midfield is a massive worry for me as we no longer play with wingers and our midfield creates very little.
We never seem to have any space, no matter who we play and let's face it, we're not coming up against a Pep or Klopp team every week!

That's a bit tough on Hodge who came on in the 82nd minute, for a team who looked like losing as soon as Reading scored!

Could just replace his role with a board of directors or advisors or something who could add better value.
Would have been better off promoting Warnock to Cartwrights position than sacking him.

Anyone stop to think that maybe Cartwright is doing exactly what has been asked of him? He's bought players in positions Duff and Moore wanted.
Only time he hasn't is for Warnock because the money wasn't there. He has almost definitely wanted better players than budgets have allowed too, as we're painfully aware.
Nagle. Nagle. Kevin Fucking Nagle.

I don't know, that's the start point.
So how many clubs in league 1 are way above us in financial clout? I get Birmingham and Wrexham (or do they choose to spend more). Wycombe as I said earlier have a guy backing them...moving nicely up the table.
The likes of Northampton, Exeter, Mansfield - there are many more I'm sure - run a club without all the frigging drama attached to ourselves.
Much lower budget I would guess, but personnel who know what they're doing. Finding a fit for their club, and going from there.
Meanwhile again....we're all over the fucking shop...it has to stop!

I see the issues with cartwright Has chosen a lot of shocking managers Wasted our budget last Jan on bojan and Healey who were not fit for what was required. This season he has addressed the fact we needed midfielders got duff his wing backs but failed again to get us a proper striker. There is something not quite right. Is it the budgets or is he just a limited chancer

The fact this waste of space is still at the club speaks volumes for the clubs ambition.
Warnock said he was a complete chancer and shock horror he was right.
The club is a complete disaster from top to bottom and those running it should be ashamed of themselves. The end.

If Nagle has a shred of common sense, Cartwright is given his marching orders first thing Monday morning. We can’t have him signing more players in January thus wasting yet another transfer window.

We never seem to have any space, no matter who we play and let's face it, we're not coming up against a Pep or Klopp team every week! Moan about Cartwright (the insults are embarrassing), bromby all you lot want but this right here is the nail on the head. We've been shit for years because we dont spend enough for the position we all want/expect. We think we are this magical club that operates like Brighton or Brentford --- we dont. Under hoyle, hodgkinson and now Nagle. The last time we had good staff AND ambition we got promoted to the pl. Inbetween that we lost, imo, the best coach i've ever seen at town for the above reason. I wonder where we would be if we had given him the money that relegation cost us? Bit of a non-sequitur, but i'm guessing in a much better place. Cartwright might be shit, and there might be a DoF out there who can work miracles with our budget; but generally speaking, money spent on quality is the difference maker. There was a better striker out there, who would be willing to come to town, than what we got. And i'm not talking about anyone specific.. I'm talking about the carrot.
