Trouble is, Colin was more important and valuable to Town than Edwards and Cartwright will ever be. Unfortunately when Colin realises this, liberties are taken, big time. Some people never have enough.🤑 Which, I presume, the last line is the reason he was sacked.

I love Neil Warnock. That doesn’t mean i’m daft enough to think he isn’t “a bit of a prick” He milks every penny out of a club for himself, his mates and are we allowed to say his family.
He lies/exaggerates to get a point across and Kevin private messaged a fan saying as much.
But like said before, that state our team was/is in he was the only thing holding it together and you’d have to be very stupid to not see that. I think the chairman first time he was with us thought he was a pain in the arse but what’s got to do with anything? I imagine one of the best thing about having millions is you never have to put up with people telling you what to do, but in this case just bend over and do what’s best for Huddersfield Town.

Doesn't make it right but I still think bigger picture was needed Heard stories from Vice Chairman of Notts County over 20 years ago about Colin’s activities when he was their manager.Perhaps you need to look at the bigger picture sometimes especially if you can “ manage “ the issues, but I’m not paying the piper .

As portugal says it’s fairly obvious to work out that we were never meant to change managers so soon into the season. The fact that they did must mean they were seriously unhappy with things behind the scenes. At the end of the day do you want to set a precedent of managers/coaches taking the piss. When you a new owner.I heard one example, whether it’s true or not im not sure, was that Neil wanted a player sold, the club didn’t, he then played silly beggers calling the clubs bluff knowing the reaction of the fans if he didn’t get his way.Now that’s just one instance. If as is likely there are numerous instances of similar nature then you can see why they made the decision. I understand also that maybe they should have turned a blind eye in order to “ensure” results and performances kept coming, even if that was only until Christmas time. Maybe his behaviour took them by surprise, although as has been previously mentioned there is enough “evidence” out there for it not to be.Or maybe they were aware but didn’t count on it been to the extent it possibly was.Or maybe they went off how he was February to may, they weren’t officially in the building but Baldwin was and they worked with him until recently. So many if,buts and maybes you could literally discuss it forever. Unfortunately it’s where it’s at now and like mastercracker mentioned we have to hope that assurances were given and a plan is in place to act quickly in January. Should that not happen then they really do leave the door open for criticism.

Work it out for yourself, it was never part of the plan. ie full year contracts, Warnock brings in all new back room staff, Warnock gets Ward, Koroma and Ruffells new contracts, and then we pay everyone off after 2 months.Nobody can be that stupid to set 4 people on FULL 12 month contracts then replace them within 8 weeks because Darren Moores available. It’s a cover story. There could be 10 or 20 reasons.. deals with agents, a massive row with cartwright or Edwards or nagle, bullying staff, talking to other clubs. Literally anything. I don't understand why you think the reason is obvious.. not one single person including you has said what it is. You seem happy enough to smear warnock but too afraid to say what he has supposedly done.. come on spit it out so we a know. Maybe then some will give others an easier ride. Agreed, and the joint up leaving announcement and continuation to lead the club through a couple of games after that does not paint a picture of someone kicked out against a backdrop of a "we need rid of you" type issue.

Wow.. here was me thinking that bastard Warnock came to do a favour for DH, pulled a couple of rabbits out of the hat to save us, then asked by the present management to stay on (but without the financial backing he presumably expected) and kept us ahead of the pack but apparently he was a right twat. Well, who'd have known, thank goodness I now take notice here of anonymous posters on the internet.

The thing is the situation was such that they could pretend it was all part of the plan when really everyone with eyes and ears could tell that it wasn't. They probably sold it to Neil as being all part of the plan whilst privately the leadership team knew different (as did Neil). Just seems to me that the leadership team decided they couldn't/wouldn't work with him. Obviously it was always going to be difficult and challenging because of who NW is but have egos got in the way? I remember when it was all announced thinking that Cartwright would have to step aside, leave his ego at home and let Uncle Neil call most of the shots for a year whilst quietly planning for the future. Was he able/willing to do that? Has someone made a compelling case for getting rid and sold it as low/no risk despite what the rest of us knew?

He's an incredible manager at what he does and also has a Max Clifford way of spinning a story for narrative which very clearly works.

He wanted to make his own job harder, apparently 🤷😉 Looks like Colin wanted players from the agency his son works for and Cartwright wanted them from the agency that he's in with 🤔

Here we go.
Anyone who watches that sacking conference /announcement could see Warnock was uncomfortable, pretending to agree and toe the party line but always hinting that it wasn't as they were making out. Then Jepsons interview on Radio Leeds, much clearer and up front, that they didn't want to go and it wasn't mutual. Now we have the usual suspects, like those anonymous twitter bots, slowly undermining Warnock with a different version of events, where he is cast as the villain but without actually saying what it is he has done. They're like management lackeys, informers, planted to spread misinformation.

Rumours have been around for years that Warnock is "dodgy", yet every time these claims emerge, no evidence is found.

Because it reflects better on both him and the club for it to appear to be 'part of the plan' rather than a sacking. If Warnock protested too much, the club would like be forced to reveal more about their resoning and I imagine it was in both parties best interests that things didn't go down that route. I imagine Warnock also wanted a farewell match, and the opportuninty to take the Rotherham and Stoke games gave him the chance to go out on a high and with the club in a respectable position (and starting spinning the play off narrative). I imagine the financial settlement for Warnock and his team was dependent on him towing the line somewhat as well. If (as has been reported) he's getting paid for the full year regardless of whether he takes another job, I imagine that was worth keeping quiet about a couple of things. Warnock wants another job, and however much he's done in the game, it reflects better on him going forward that it was a mutual parting of ways, due to Town having somebody else lined up for the long term, than it would if he'd been sacked for reasons X, Y or Z.

You might well be right. Re- financial settlements...What he received will have been tied down in a contract, so cant see that being a factor. He'll have insisted on getting a full years money however long it took the club the replace him. Youre also alluding to 'other reasons' why the club decided a parting of the ways was the right thing to do. Quite possible IMO. Hes been sacked god knows how many times, so dont think just being sacked ( in the usual sense ) would have bothered him much..its never stopped him getting jobs and think its nailed on that come next January/February they'll be a host of clubs phoning him up offering him lucrative deals to save them from the drop. After what he did here last season his stock is very high and although we werent pulling up any trees under him this season, we werent rock bottom either.

The rumour I have heard about Warnock leaving is that when he was speaking to the younger players and coaches ect , he wasn’t very inclusive and didn’t fit the modern woke world. 🤷🏼♂️ I heard it was because he wore too short shorts and a bollock popped out and he refused to put it back in when asked because his boxers weren't very inclusive of his meat n two veg, and his bollock didn't fit in the modern woke conceptions of public decency The boys left the barracks just like Alan Partridge!

As much as Moore needs to go, this bloke does too. Absolutely laughable what little he clearly knows about the game to announce Darren Moore insinuating he will play attacking football. Clearly landed a few jobs because he was on the same courses as Dan Ashworth etc as he loves to mention. Moore never has played attacking football and never will, tactically inept.
I can see why Webber said we are run like a league one club because all we do is make League One decisions time after time.

When you look at the decision making so far it does make you conclude that KN has been very badly advised. He has to rely on these two for everything. So far every football decisions wrong imo

Do you honestly think that they won't have targets identified and be in negotiations with certain targets already? Well I'd certainly hope so anyway but I think they will.
