First job after you get off the plane Nagle. Get rid of Cartwright and Edwards. Be a good start in sorting this shitshow out. What have they done wrong exactly? They’ve failed to make a permanent signing between 2nd September and 31st December Outrageous

Cartwright has a huge transfer window ahead of him
He’s an easy target atm - but I think better judged end Jan / in summer

He’s pissed a lot of people off and he’s not got a great reputation. My particular favourite was when Warnock left, Cartwright took over the managers office.

Good evening. Which previous post? I can assure you I am aware he is unable to make a permanent signing (except for free agents) between these dates so definitely tongue in cheek.

As in left at the end of last season, or left after half a dozen games this season? Seems a bit of a pillock-ish thing to do anyway…

Wow. I wouldn’t know how to describe that sort of behaviour.
Probably a bit like that current Nationwide advert where the bloke who plays Charles in the crown comes across as an odious out of touch chancer…

Out of curiosity, which office did Moore get then when he was appointed? It’s not as if there was a big gap between managerial appointments? Is he in the broom cupboard?

So, we're looking to ditch both our CEO and our DoF because of one bad managerial appointment?
I'd certainly accept that it's been a bad start but unless I've missed something this looks an incredibly knee-jerk response.

The problem. The person advising Nagle. The one that got rid of warnock. The one that signed Edwards. The one that sold 24 and signed 4. Why he is not getting all the grief. Sack him now - before he does anymore damage. Forget everything else make this your focus now. Our best info has never been wrong. CHANCER Whoops-a-daisy!

Cartwright has got off on the wrong foot with the Warnock sacking and Moore appointment, but if any other DoF was signing some of the players we have - who appear shrewd and exciting if nothing else - then they would be getting praise.
Hopefully he's getting it right on the player front and he can start to redeem his reputation with our fanbase a bit.

Perhaps the getting rid of 20 plus players in the summer when we could whilst leaving us short may well have freed up the money to invest properly now.

I posted at the end of the Summer transfer window that surely we had a contingency fund for the next one if things didn't work out as planned and saw only .

You forgot to mention the resigning of Ward and Ruffles which including Edwards makes it 3 poor signings. No wonder NW got pissed off.

The signings look promising, that's all. I am very relieved though that Kevin is putting his money where his mouth is, impressive investment in the team. That's all we ever asked for. The fees being talked about seem ambitious but sensible at the same time. Well done Kevin Nagle.
