We have picked up some points in the last three games and DM seems to have settled on a 5-4-1 we do look much better than we did at Hull. That is just as well because QPR have wone their last two, Wednesday winning and scoring three goals and Rotherham picking up an away point we need to continue picking up points. On top of that we need to improve the squad more than the other teams around us will do. Thank you Mr Obvious. The obvious can be missed by anyone. Never take anything for granted because that is where things get in to a mess.

I was behind Darren Moore from the start (went to his first game unlike the majority). I do not believe for a pico second he had to adopt those tactics and he changed things as soon as he could. Well done for the last 135 minutes but Please never ever EVER subject us to anything like the previous 135 minutes (with their 0.1 total Xg) again.PS Pete, you've spent a fair proportion of the time since Hull stating we had litle choice but to play that way or we'd get stuffed. You must have been apoplectic and fearful for the worse when we changed tack last night as you believed so strongly DM was previously right. Personally, I cheered up and put money on us at 11/2. It perhaps seems I've more confidence in those players than you (or DM). Hi Andy Not too sure why I merited a personal dig but I'm feeling and embracing the love. 'Pico' was a new word for me but they say you learn something new every day. I say well done you and keep that confidence going TBF Pete I was replying to a post of yours so I didn't really single you out. I was interested in your view on the tactical change though. Surely having been so supportive (lone voice?) of the tactics at Hull, the marked change must have concerned you? PPS Were you at Hull Pete. Most (if not all) who've posted defending that day have admitted later they weren't there. I suspect you probably were.

I'm sure you were. I embraced it given that we had better options to make the change.
I watch Town home and away so form my opinions based on that.
Stay positive now

I don't go trawling through looking at posters' posting history so had to ask instead

Is Moore worth supporting? Probably. They have not been happy bunnies at most of his other clubs due to the reliance on his defensive tactics yet the owners stressed that he was an attacking style manager. He wasn't at Sheff Wed and they had the biggest budget in that division. Their fans wanted him out at this time last year for the some of the same reasons that others on here have criticised him.
However, Moore did get Wednesday up, even if it was through the play offs after a very embarrassing 4-0 defeat at Peterborough. Again is it glass half full or half empty? The truth will only lie in the future, especially during the January window. Reports in the Examiner suggest that Nagle wants to see some 'smart' manoeuvring with his money during January. Again is this glass half full or empty? Who on earth does not want to see some 'smart' moves in the transfer market. God help us we have made some cringeworthy buys in the last four or five years although at times some signings have turned out to be highly successful.
The other big question which seems to be ignored is: who will be leaving in January? We do have some very good players who will attract envious eyes. We might struggle to hold on to Helik and our number one goalkeeper which if not replaced with decent acquisitions will definitely see us relegated.
It's over to Mr Nagle and his team who to be honest have not exactly filled us with much hope so far with transfers.
So, is Moore worth supporting? In the medium term he should be although if we lose our next two matches then that situation changes dramatically as both Bristol City and Preston are eminently beatable, although we are talking here about Town. But four points from the next two games will go along way to cementing Moore's place with the supporters. But if he picks a defensive line up and we slip up at home then he is in big trouble. From Moore's own point of view he must have been promised something positive in January when he came in. If not then he is fool himself.

He still worries me, especially after his presser. He says we can't attack as we haven't got all the bodies back? What Hudlin, Harratt, Jones and Rudoni! Out of those we are only really missing Rudoni. I'm afraid that if he can't get a tune out of the players now back n fit, then he never will. Seems he's hit on the counter attacking defensive option and is now stuck.God help the home fans in the next 2 games if that's his outlook.

That aside I just find him hard to listen to.

Don’t listen to the pressers due to it being so dull. Have tried but nothing changing, so I just don’t bother. But I’m also tired of the same complaints over it - just don’t listen if it’s going to annoy you.
Focus on other output from the club, or about the club!

His interviews are a painfully dull & uninspiring watch. I only care about what happens to the club as a whole.

Good God I had to turn his interview off after 3 minutes and him saying the word ‘erm’ 30 times, at least Warnock was entertaining. Yeah. It's been said elsewhere that being entertaining is half the battle. Moore's Points per game stats are comparable to Warnock's, but his press conferences really really aren't. Should we get behind him? What's the alternative? If we sack him who comes in and gets a tune out of such a thin squad? Who is going to be attracted to a job knowing that they'll be sacked in 3 months if we're not bombing up the table? Give him time. Not because I think he's the second coming of David Wagner but because he's here and the club needs some stability.
