They will leave it too late and sadly we will go down To do so would mean the regime admitting they have made mistakes Now has anyone Ever heard of an American apologising about anything? But they hear us don't they?

What are we trying to do defending set pieces 4 man marking and the rest zonal? I’ve struggled to work out watching aside from we usually have all our players back in the box Down to our new defensive coach? And our poor form at the other end from set pieces probably down to another of the coaches that came with DM. It's hard to know how good these guys are and what pedigree they've got but results so far aren't encouraging.

I think Kevin Nagle could do worse than appoint Dean Hoyle in some kind of advisor role, albeit I'm sure there is some sort of unofficial advice already in place. Somebody who loves the club, understands the game and knows how to make the tough decisions. Given his own money isn't involved I think Dean could be a reasonable voice. What an absolutely terrible idea.

Offensive and defensive set piece performance is just one of a number of areas that has massively regressed. I'm struggling to think of a single area that hasn't got worse. So what are they waiting for? Admit the mistake and get rid before it's too late. Maybe let someone else choose next time too.

The ice is getting thinner... BIG week coming up. That implies that rather than making the decision now, we are choosing to forfeit our Christmas fixtures first. Great...

If it’s got to the point of “he needs to find a win in 3 games” then for me the decision has been made. Just pull the trigger ffs.

No point waiting if we're gonna get rid. There's nothing you can 'hang your hat on' to give you hope. It's not even like we're playing well, having plenty of chances and we're just having a run of bad luck or the opposition keepers are having constant blinders against us. There's not even a vague attempt to try to get forward, score goals, and win games.
Can I see us getting anything from the next 3 games, even with 2 of them at home? No.
There's no point waiting and hoping that we pick up maybe 4-7 points from these 3 games, because right now we absolutely don't look like doing that.
If we get the same negative performance, loss, lack of effort to win the game on Tuesday then he has to go (he should have gone yesterday but I doubt we'll sack him today, and we absolutely won't tomorrow).

I can’t find the post but a poster talked about the football under Warnock wasn’t great
The first 5/6 was awful agree
After that it was sometimes defensive on the counter, sometimes sit back 45, go at them 45 press front foot eg Boro or we sat deep but had a clear plan to attack on the counter and got bodies forward
We had more moments as we got in the final third more, the players were clearer what to do and they stuck to it
We were better in ‘moments’ which are critical at this level but you aren’t going to get a moment if you don’t get into the final third with the ball or bodies
I didn’t think even when it was defensive it was horrible as there was a clear plan and you knew there was a plan - Warnock isn’t an old school 442 kick it long manager perceived, he’s adapted and tactically was flexible to have a plan to meet the opposition, the game etc

I am the last to want to see a manager sacked but his post match comments are beginning to grate on me. He cannot see the wood for the trees. If he is to be 'released' let it happen before he is allowed to spend any money that might be forthcoming.

From day 1, I wanted to go and watch us under Warnock. The team got their mojo back, the fans got their mojo back, the club got their mojo back after the disaster that had been Mark Fotheringham. We’re back to where we were 12 months ago again, Groundhog Day. I haven’t been to the last 3 home games and won’t be at the JSS til the Boro game and that’s as much to get out of the house after Christmas as much as anything else. It’s a right old mess.

What the club and us as fans, have to ask is only one question for me.
Q. Would any other club , allow this type of record go on ?
I would say they would not, therefore why should we ? what has Moore done to even suggest its going to change even slightly ?

If he is to be 'released' let it happen before he is allowed to spend any money that might be forthcoming. This is it in a nutshell and something I mentioned a while back. You have to show the directors that you look worth being allowed at the kitty for Jan window. It probably won't be a big budget so even more important the coaching staff and DOF get it right with incoming players. If I was a director I wouldnt be confident the current incumbents could be trusted on what we've seen so far.

You can have a bad run due to a bit of bad luck (wrong decisions, mistakes, keepers having a blinder a few times, half a dozen of your best players being injured at once), in which case you think it'll change eventually. Or, you have a bad run like we've had, with no effort to attack or to score goals or to win games, negative tactics, and nothing to make you think it'll change any time soon.

This whole situation with Moore puts the club in a tricky position.
He is going to be expensive to sack him and whole back room staff on 3 year contracts. So going to have to pay all those up whilst still paying off Fotheringham, Miller and presumably something for Schofield.
Also, could argue he hasnt had a transfer window so hasnt had a chance with his kind of players (for what its worth, I dont think it will make a difference). The squad is shite but he doesnt help himself. He simply has to get something out of them. Or at least if we are to lose due to the lack of quality, at least show something in the games. We are just seeing boring, negative dross at the minute and that goes for his media interactions too.
The trickiest thing for KN and the board though, is the massive fan outrage at Darren Moore and the call for his sacking. I understand we're not happy but where do you draw the line with fans. What happens when the next manager is performing bad and there are fans calling for his head again. Very tough position to be in! Cant continue with how bad it is at the minute, season ticket prices will plummet even with same prices as they are now under Moore's style. But we cant spend like we want to with such low income.

We are not unlucky to lose.. All the defeats have not been close run things. The wins were very close run things. Its not as if you can see the improvements of the progress.. One shot on target in 90 odd minutes is only an improvement on zero. The time the opposition spend in possession in our half/last third and touches in our box is huge. Shots on/off target is far too big a number. The law of averages means you can get away with 16 plus shots, often more, 70% possession for the opposition, has been more, a large percentage of it in our last third etc, but getting away with it is what it is and when you seem to have it as the only discernible tactic you are more likely to lose than not.?

I can never understand why clubs/owners get themselves into positions where it costs them a fortune to get rid of poorly performing manager. Fair enough if the manager is a top name and hugely in demand, but the likes of Fotheringham and Moore?

I can only assume Cartwright has nailed his flag so firmly to DM that if he sacks DM he knows that he will be gone as well.

initially i was prepared to give him time as appreciate the sate of the squad etc, but the negative performances are driving me mad followed by inane comments - the fact he seemed unworried by the defeat at norwich is a kick in the bollocks for the supporters that went , I no longer live in Essex and spent around £290 on the travel / hotel / beer/ tickets for 2 of us to watch 90 plus minutes of not really trying to score and hoping for a bit of luck- I don't want to rake up old ground but who ever thought it was a good idea to appoint him originally also needs to go , I hate saying people should loose their jobs but these guys will get good compensation, Rowett or Eustace for me, Copper will wait for a better job Fulham or Palace probably - have a good christmas , roll on boxing day
