Town Supporters:
A few things-
I don’t like to communicate when I’m angry/frustrated, but after taking a deep breath I can tell you that not only do I hear you as always, but I share your frustration.
As I see it, supporters need something to support, and being honest- there’s not much there right now when it comes to results and entertainment on the pitch.
I am looking forward to arriving on 4 January, and I will be there with boots on the ground the entire month.
I will be there to ask tough questions of EVERYONE, from players to management to executives. And I will answer the tough questions posed my way as well.
I will be there for the entirety of the transfer window, as we will be strategic, surgical, and aggressive in trying to bring in the talent we need.
You are the customers, you spend your time and hard earned money to escape from the realities of the world for a few hours a week, and in return you deserve a product worthy of your time and money.
To be frank, we are not currently holding up our end of the bargain.
I’m not interested in blame, or fault, I’m only interested in identifying and assessing problems, and solving them as quick as possible.
That doesn’t mean we will always see eye to eye, but I can promise you as you spend your time and money on the club, I will be doing the exact same.
We will get through this, and we WILL build a sustainable winning club you can be proud of.
That’s everything.
As always thank you, this is YOUR club, and I am here to have your back.
I look forward to seeing many of you in person next month.
KN

The only reason we're not entertained is because of the manager. I guarantee if you'd picked a coach with an exciting style of play this wouldn't be happening. See Wagner in the first 2 months he took over.

There is one very immediate problem, and then a few others come January.
Not an easy fix, but an easy thing to identify.
Fair play to him for speaking up!

Fair play and thanks to KN for speaking out… Actions speak louder than words. We've heard alot of the right things been spoken, but not seen anything yet to make us regain hope and optimism. Whilst hands are probably tied until Jan, it’s assuring until then that concerns are being heard.

He is hurting, of course he is. The honeymoon period lasted about 2 weeks until the fans saw scores of players leaving the club and hardly anyone brought in. We then replaced a manager who in many fans eyes is one of our favourite managers of all time and have replaced him with someone who seems to be tactically inept and boring the life out of the supporters.
This will not be how he wanted his tenure to start but what he needs to realise is that we cannot have the fans endure anymore of the shit they have been served up recently. If Moore is unable or unwilling to change his style then he (Moore) has to go.
Be bold, be brave and make the tough decisions.

I don't think we could ask any more from KN, I know some will say actions speak louder than words but his hands are tied until January.
It is clear that the club take fans' opinions seriously & they know that fans are very quickly losing patience, hence the alarming lack of supporters in the ground last night.
I think KN has totally grasped how we, as a fan base, are currently feeling &, in the circumstances, he has addressed our concerns in the best possible way. Some will say he could sack DM now but it sounds like he wants to see things for himself but this message is clear to anyone that he is not happy.

I welcome the communication but am slightly concerned that I infer that nothing will change until January. Obviously the only thing that can change is removing DM.
The encouraging element is the recognition that people are justifiably unhappy and what we are watching isn't good enough.
Challenging those who have been delegated to deliver is essential.
Words help but they are nothing without actions. Yes we maybe being heard but we are likely to suffer for a few weeks yet.
The pressure has just increased on DM.

Investment in January is key, the fans are losing interest because what’s happening on the pitch is utter boring rubbish football and we as supporters are starting to question if the new management / owners are really up to the job of running our beloved club . We will love you KN and give you the adulation and respect you deserve if you make this club great again, good luck.

A much better rant than the one that caused Warnock to bite back at.
Let's see how the situation changes and the January window is handled.

Where does DM go from here?
"As I see it, supporters need something to support, and being honest- there’s not much there right now when it comes to results and entertainment on the pitch"
All on Darren. He sets us up to play the way we do. Frustratingly he has all his managerial career so it begs the question WHY him in the first place.
"You are the customers, you spend your time and hard earned money to escape from the realities of the world for a few hours a week, and in return you deserve a product worthy of your time and money.
To be frank, we are not currently holding up our end of the bargain.
I’m not interested in blame, or fault, I’m only interested in identifying and assessing problems, and solving them as quick as possible."
You blaming someone Kevin. It's DM. We didn't feel like this with Warnock.
DMs position was untenable before this and now it's absolutely ridiculous he's still here. What can he do now for Saturday, play defensive he's ignoring what the owners said. Play offensive and he looks weak.
YOU appointed him Kevin knowing the way he plays football. Back him or get rid.

Fair play from Kevin. I think that message will do a lot of good as we have just become toxic (and rightly so in context). It is the right thing to do as a leadership vacuum now would be dangerous and further create ill feeling.
However, concerns are a level of naivety, if not from Kevin, then those he has appointed to run things. It will take significant actions to give us fans comfort that although the sentiment of the new ownership is in the right place, that they are well placed to make decisions in the best interest of our on pitch performances

Apart from the Warnock tweet i've been very impressed with him. The fans needed this
He can only be as good as his advisors, and they cant have been easy appointments for someone with little football/english football knowledge tbf. Edwards strikes me as smart and someone who will learn fast.
coming for a month is a big signal of intent IMO - he must be a busy bloke and I also think his (business) acumen/knowledge and enthusiasm will do the club a lot of good.
Not sure i'll read much into the no vote of confidence for DM - he's probably just trying to not trip himself up. (sleepwalk into relegation) I think if a sacking was imminent he'd have probably let that do the talking

How I look at it Nagle has employed people to handle the football side of things and they are the ones who have let him down.

I mentioned a few days ago that being at the club throughout the entire January window would enable KN to observe everyone in the club, and being available and hands-on was recognition of how critical the January transfer window will be to the club.
It’s therefore encouraging to see that KN mentions both of these issues. Moore isn’t mentioned specifically but my intuition is that KN’s comments suggest that Moore will still be the manager, but that KN will be watching and listening closely. Whether or not that turns out to be the best thing for this season remains to be seen.
I think most Town fans see that KN genuinely seems to be an hono(u)rable man and is in with Town for the long haul. I think that message supports this. I think he has a lot to learn, but I get the feeling he wants to learn and will learn.

This whole 3 year budget, is it seasonal (ie starts a fresh in the summer), or will we actually have a war chest in January? If it’s the summer, do we actually believe anyone will arrive in January?
