Not felt so robbed by a ref in a long while. Blood boiling coming away from the ground, every key decision their way bar the dive. And every soft one their way too. Absolute cheating bastard. That result had NOTHING to do with the referee. Nothing Except for at least 1 penalty we weren’t awarded at a crucial point? Of course we need a couple more decent players….but the right decisions tonight by the ref and we’d have earned a point. |

Ben Wiles.... yikes. What a fucking awful signing He just seems a yard off it all the time, I put it down to him being unfit or playing too much, but doensn't seem to change. Doesn't seem to come and want the ball, tackle or put in a killer pass, just goes through the motions. Not sure what to think of him currently. Seems nuts we’re still talking about his fitness months after signing him. Concerning |

So the ref not giving an obvious pen for us before they break away and score, then giving them a pen from a dive and they score from the resulting corner. That's down to us not having a decent squad? Ok.
Doesn't help no, but the fact we had the better of the game regardless of penalty shouts but couldn’t capitalise due to players being flat out on their arse at 70 mins is the reason. Ok
In other words, you can't blame Darren Moore for this defeat so you and several others are forced to clutch your straws and blame Dean Hoyle.

Wiles is obviously a good player. But his engine is a couple of cylinders down. Either that or it’s his appetite for the game. Either way, I’d rather have someone who can at least run and get there when they need to.

They say you score once every 96 corners or something like that.
For them to miss a penalty and then the player who missed that penalty to score from the resulting corner is terrible luck.
Really impressed with Headley today. He's not really pushed on this season after breaking through but much improved the last two games

We were the better team there, and if the ref did his job, we get a result. Fact. |

Wednesday players loved Moore, our players are working their balls off for him, its the most important attribute you want in a manger first and foremost, we need to give him some backing now.

Simple as that. It appears he hasn't recovered from the serious injury he sustained last season at Rotherham which begs the question how did he pass a medical? There again, we signed Simpson and Knockhert who were injured when they signed |

Enjoyed watching last two games more attacking intent few quality additions and we can kick on and be safe lower mid table.
Over to you Mr Cartwright and Mr Nagle please back us with some decent additions.
Feel a lot more optimistic now we aren’t just sitting back

Good effort from Sorba, Koroma, Headley & Chapman. Lack of effort/ability from Wiles, Rudoni and Nakayama. Pity as Boro were there for the taking tonight.

DM does appear to be getting a tune out of what has to be the weakest town squad I have seen in donkey's years. Some of the movement and passing tonight was great but as mentioned by many, we couldn't maintain it, the squad is just too thin.
I'm pleased for Darren and the squad, hopefully, they won't take this defeat too hard and reflect on what I thought was a great performance.

Hate to lose but can't really have any complaints tonight. Great to see the pressing and the link up play. God doesn't the team look 100% better with rudoni in it?
Really willing in attack...Thomas in free play was excellent in that unusual role for him. Headley just really settling into the role.
50/50 game really....either team could have won but I'm much encouraged the last two games. Just a shame through depth and injuries that we have nothing much on the bench.
Special mention to Chapman. Great debut....should be proud. Fabulous penalty save and looked generally assured.

Don't agree for different reasons on the others. Rudoni makes us tick and links play...is available...is the heartbeat. Nakayama did well apart from losing the man once. Wiles shows flashes but need more from him. |

They're trying. Effort is never lacking, quality is starting to show in parts with some really good individual performances. Just ran out of steam due to lack of squad depth, not for the first time this season.
For the first time in a while I think we'll be fine this season with a few additions.

Not one player can be criticised tonight. The referee though was obviously a United Fan in love with Carrick. Stonewall handball which I don't understand how it wasn't seen. And then a dive. |
