I definitely don’t agree about him having a shocking attitude at all. If you’ve ever played football at any level you could clearly see he is trying (probably too hard) to impress. IMO he’s come in as one of the star players from Rotherham for a fairly large fee and feels like he needs to justify it to his new clubs supporters. Unfortunately whether due to a previous injury, lack of form or confidence things just aren’t clicking right now. With every passing game, and occasionally being dropped he’s probably feeling that pressure more and more. Played at an above decent level. Wiles attitude stinks throwing his arms up in the air and disappearing every time something goes wrong. I think you are confusing low confidence with poor attitude. He has come into a poor team as a very expensive addition after a bad injury. Rotherham fans said he wasn’t the same player after the injury. He will feel a lot of pressure. He was known as a no nonsense box to box midfielder and maybe physically he is struggling to be that. He looks light in challenges but I don’t think that is his normal playing style. I hope if we can improve the squad he can get some confidence and fitness back. We will, hopefully, then see the player we thought we had bought.

Played at an above decent level. Wiles attitude stinks throwing his arms up in the air and disappearing every time something goes wrong. Attitude isn't the issue with Wiles at all. He hasn't had any time to recover from his injury and knocks. Playing through the pain barrier every week. I admire his attitude for putting his body through that when you have Danny Ward splitting finger nails and out for 3 months. This is where the theory falls down though surely. If it's widely believed that Moore was told by the medical team to bring Ward off on 60 minutes against Preston (even though he'd just scored) then why aren't the medical team telling Moore not to play Wiles? It's not as though Wiles is turning in match winning performances every week is it.

I go through the pain barrier watching Wiles trying to pass a football to someone wearing the same coloured shirt as himself.

If Ward's could have been made worse by completing 90 minutes and Wiles was just sore but unlikely to decline further as a result of playing then that would fit Note, I'm not saying that IS the case. Just that it's a potential explanation.

We spent £1m(?) on Wiles and the club will have had detailed information on his injury plus their own specialists assessing it. The lad said himself he'd likely have a deformed ankle for the rest of his life in an interview last year. Sounds like we were so desperate to bring a midfielder in and took a gamble, which doesn't look to be paying off. We're halfway through the season now, if it's purely down to fitness then when will he be match fit? March? Because as it stands now he looks miles off it after playing well over 1500 minutes of football this season.
Questions should rightly be asked.

Coincidence that our Head of Medical (Ian Kirkpatrick) 'left' his position a month or so back ?

KN has talked a lot about the club's infrastructure...this will no doubt involve replacing those that they don't feel are up to taking Town to the next level

I'm hoping he's just taking a long time to settle in, get match fit and get his confidence up. Someone quite rightly pointed out that Hogg was similarly underwhelming in his first season. It's not been the easiest if starts for him either due to various reasons.

This is all done, just waiting for an announcement and media work to be completed.
Could be announced tonight, but actually thinking it might be that it is saved until tomorrow so Kevin can be seen in some part of the announcement.
Might even be a double signing tomorrow, oh and one out / leaving the club (nobody anyone will be concerened about).

Lees is just as bad but seems to go under the radar.

Yeah, the need for a scapegoat is weird. I don't rate Wiles at all, based on his performances for us so far - but he is putting the effort in. Someone on here compared him to Pritchard recently. The guy whose performances have almost certainly been hampered by an injury that he's not fully recovered from, vs the guy who downed tools for 3 out of the 3 and a half years he was here... Call them out if they're taking the piss, but I really don't think Wiles is doing that at all.

He's added in the announcement might be delayed until tomorrow for Kevin...just to give a buffer period. Big social media accounts have said this lad is coming, pretend ITK posters come in after the fact releasing things that are already public knowledge.
