If he was 28 people would be saying bring him back bring him back - Top goalscorer league 1. He is a goalscorer and still capable of them crucial goals. I Remember seeing David Trezeguet playing in a ex pro game full of international players. He hadn’t lost that positional instinct you have it or you don’t Jordan has it give him half a season and you will see. It’s a free shot for us so let’s not throw it away, keep him secure our safety and then let him go and a big thanks. God forbid we end up in league 1 then we re-sign him. He is revitalized and his instinct is now sharp and we are mutts if we don’t utilise this !!!! But he isn't. So they aren't.

Typical, we’ll be thrilled to bits on Sunday and then Man C will buy him if Erling has another setback… 😉

Tinpot - more like piss pot. Totally unnecessary abuse. Give your head a shake. Tinpot is one of the most considered posters on here. Personal abuse is never justified, but to aim it at one of the most balanced and thoughtful posters on here is pathetic. Never mind him, I got told to fuck off 😂

Pleased with this signing. A big lad up front who has a bit of pace, and will complement a two up top with the likes of Harratt ferreting around harassing. Sorba and Koroma can feed balls in. Worth a punt. Failing this we can hit it long and let him and Hudlin play head tennis for a bit. Blimey that would be a short rally

Sensible business so far, really plugging gaping holes. A positive start to the window.
The thing about this is that the club would typically have seen £600,000 as a risk, and it is. But history shows us that when we spend decent fees, we get good returns on them - going back a few years, this is a similar type of signing to Adam Clayton (signed £300,000, sold £1.5m), Jacob Butterfield (signed £500,000, sold £5.5m), Anthony Pilkington (signed £500,000, sold £2.5m), and a certain Jordan Rhodes (signed (£800,000, sold £8m). A decent start to life in a Town shirt will increase his value significantly immediately.
And on the pitch we were dying for a striker who wasn't a kid or a crock. Good age, good record, lots of potential going forward. Good all round from the club.

The club survives and thrives on buying and selling but you need to invest the funds first. Sorba, Rudoni and Helik all cost money probably 500k, 800k and 1m respectively but are the most valuable assets in the squad and all worth more than we paid. Problem we have had is we tried to cute and bring players in for nothing and sell a big one every season without reinvesting. No town fan expects 5m+ fees but we won't accept negligence either. Radulovic is the first out and out striker we have properly invested in for nearly SIX years, that is negligence of the highest order.

Could prove to be completely misguided, but something tells me that this guy is going to be a terrific signing for us. Has that feel about it.

Not sure I quite understand the delight at this one. It's good to get a signing in but I'll wait to watch him play before getting too excited. It is less than 2 years since he couldn't make an impact in Sweden and I'm assuming Finnish football is league one or two standard. Two draws with Aberdeen probably confirm that. And I very much doubt we've beaten Rangers to his signature. If they wanted him then he would have gone there. They can pay far more than we can and they can offer European football And there we go ladies and gentlemen. The first marker in the "I told you so posts" What a twit(sic) Or... Whenever someone new arrives at the club there's speculation as to how well we think they'll do. I don't share the excitement about this one either. He has a seriously impressive strike rate at HJK, but looking at the scouting report posted earlier, highlights videos, seeing the quality of opposition he's had thus far, I struggle to see how he replicates that success here. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I've misinterpreted his skill-set. Or maybe we sign a few more players and the January window heralds a revolution in how we play under Darren Moore once he has his own players. But I interpret BR as a player who would thrive in a very different system from ours. I can't see us playing to (what I interpret as being) his strengths, and I see our style of play (such as it is) massively exposing his weaknesses. A pre-emptive "told you so"? Not a bit. I don't pretend to be some football guru. I'm not. I know far less than those who do this for a living (even the ones I don't rate!) So if I'm right it's probably a perverse "luck". I want to be proven wrong about the ones I don't think will succeed. Good luck to Bojan Radulovic and Alex Matos. Hopefully the former proves me wrong and the latter proves me right.

It's that pretend jump for a header he always does that gets on my nerves. He's nowhere near the ball, like ever, but he jumps just to try and make it look like he's doing something. Once we get a proper centre-forward that actually does something, our fans will be in for one hell of a shock. Hopefully this new lad is the one to put Ward to shame.

Maybe £2m at a push I reckon.

Sevco are dropping further and further down the list 🤣 Does thst mean that Town are only 20 years old then?

Sevco are dropping further and further down the list 🤣 Does thst mean that Town are only 20 years old then? Rangers remained in the top division continuously until a financial crisis during the 2011–12 season saw the club enter administration and the original company liquidated with the assets moved to a new company structure. The club was accepted as an associate member of the Scottish Football League and placed in the fourth tier of the Scottish football league system in time for the start of the following season as for Town The club was put into administration, but Ken Davy bought the club in the summer of 2003 and rescued Town from liquidation. I'm no expert but that seems to suggest we're the same club, Sevco aren't. They just pretend they are.

I agree, there's potential there, we've paid a fee, no major red flags, his record suggests he may well be ready to step up. Seems like a very decent punt to me. It's obviously a big step up in class which he understands and he comes across really well in his interview. Both signings to date are giving good vibes, similar to players brought in in 2016. Here's hoping they can have similar impact and hopefully more on the horizon. Some proven championship quality would not go amiss.

Looking at his highlights on Towns X account, he looks like he loves to attack a cross. Sorba is going to absolutely love him. In typical town fashion we’ll probably sell Sorba in the transfer window 😂😂😂🔵⚪️

I’m not saying he’ll be rubbish, i’ve no idea, but i am confused why everyone seems so excited.
We’ve signed a chap who was probably earning 1k a week from a team worse than Bradford City.
