Not sure I quite understand the delight at this one. It's good to get a signing in but I'll wait to watch him play before getting too excited. It is less than 2 years since he couldn't make an impact in Sweden and I'm assuming Finnish football is league one or two standard. Two draws with Aberdeen probably confirm that. And I very much doubt we've beaten Rangers to his signature. If they wanted him then he would have gone there. They can pay far more than we can and they can offer European football Maybe he'd have preferred to go to Glasgows no 1 team rather than one that's only 12 years old ππ Queens Park?

Looking at his highlights on Towns X account, he looks like he loves to attack a cross. Sorba is going to absolutely love him.

You aren't going to find any proven names available to us at the moments it's going to be young lads on loam or players like this.

Pleased with this signing. A big lad up front who has a bit of pace, and will complement a two up top with the likes of Harratt ferreting around harassing. Sorba and Koroma can feed balls in.
Worth a punt.
Failing this we can hit it long and let him and Hudlin play head tennis for a bit.

At this stage of the season, everyone still has something to play for. Even the mid-table sides will be keen to push towards the playoffs or keep a healthy distance from the drop zone. PL youth players, abroad or players that aren't really wanted by their clubs any more is what you'll be looking at, unless you're willing to pay over the odds or someone is approaching the end of their contract.

He's been prolific (albeit at a level I'd expect Bradford City to shine) He's scored goals in European competition (but the best of those sides would struggle in this league, and some would struggle in Lg2) Although TBF wrt Rangers, the club we got him from offered European football. Rangers would be a higher profile, bigger crowds etc though. I understand the excitement. I just don't share it. Hopefully I'm left feeling silly about this post at the end of the season. Wonder if you're in the "miserable koont" camp as well?Β It's always best to actually watch a player first before getting excited about him.Β And you can fook off as well

So in a nutshell, everyone is buzzing that we have recalled Brodie Spencer from Motherwell as he will solve all problems, even though he was way out of his depth 6 months ago. Baring in mind Ayina had a 6 month loan spell too in Scotland last season and still looks out of his depth. Yet a striker coming from a club who drew with a Scottish club, in which the striker scored, is a wait and see as it is League 1 or 2 standard? Context, Teemu Pukki scored 12 n 26 in the same division this lad has scored 18 in 23. Not saying its a guarantee, but it is a signing I would class as a bit of a coup for us in this moment in time. So fooking negative!!!!!!!! Blah blah blah. Rhodes and Spencer are the new Messi and Roberto Carlos. Didn't you know?

But when they get off to a flyer during the transfer window with 2 potentially exciting looking signings in the first few days. It's perfectly acceptable to get a bit carried away ffs!

If he was 28 people would be saying bring him back bring him back - Top goalscorer league 1. He is a goalscorer and still capable of them crucial goals. I Remember seeing David Trezeguet playing in a ex pro game full of international players. He hadnβt lost that positional instinct you have it or you donβt Jordan has it give him half a season and you will see. Itβs a free shot for us so letβs not throw it away, keep him secure our safety and then let him go and a big thanks. God forbid we end up in league 1 then we re-sign him. He is revitalized and his instinct is now sharp and we are mutts if we donβt utilise this !!!!
