So glad you don’t work for the club. Good luck finding a better player for £1m. Honestly, we shat a golden egg with him and if we let him go back it would be a massive shame. He’s terrorised every defence he’s played against. There’s also absolutely nothing to suggest he’s a rotten apple either, similar type of trope that was thrown at Billing for no apparent reason. When Stoke paid £4.5m just for a burger than surely Burgzorg must be worth a mil. He offers so much variation to our attacks and is a nightmare for defenders to contain. Nagle seems happy to give us good money for transfers and when Healey cost double Burgzorg's fee than it is a no brainer when the transfer market is so expensive Except Healey hasn't cost double, he'll only cost that if we/he hit all the clauses. If we/he hit those clauses it'll be money we'll spent, if we/he don't hit them he won't have cost much.

New Serbian assistant coach Asif Saric could be a big help to Bojan. We need him to step up his game.

Looks like the kind of player who you just need to get the ball to in the box, like Rhodes. They know where the net is.
Still not convinced he has the speed for this level but could be a 20+ goal striker for us in league one

If we can feed him hopefully he'll score a few more. Was targeted again on Monday I thought, that's not gonna change and he's not much time to toughen up so maybe the best short term fix will be learn how to back in, con the ref, chuck himself on the floor etc. We could do with getting Alan Alan in for a few days to teach him the dark arts

We could also do with the officials actually doing their job. No point being tougher if you don't get a free-kick for blatant fouls. The one in the first half on Monday was a joke - tackle completely missed the ball and cleaned out both of Radulovic's legs. You can be as tough as you like, but if you don't get a free-kick for that you're on a hiding to nothing. The whole team needs to be a bit tougher on officials though. I think we're a soft touch. We don't get decisions because officials know we won't make a big deal of it. Only Sorba Thomas ever consistently challenges officials, and he's consistently booked for it. Compare with others - who always have 3 around the ref very quickly, who have a coach in the fourth official's ear, who consistently get away with more than what Sorba gets booked for, because they go as a group. It's easy to give a decision against a side that doesn't complain, but for the sake of a quiet life you don't want to give a decision against a side in your ear every few minutes. I hate to see it, but I do think it has cost us points this season.

And yes get in the refs ear, all of them, including coaches, in a respectful way that won't result in punishment. Basic human nature, officials respond to it.

Cowleys looked like wankers when moaning all the time at officials.

Hopefully he will be crying his eyes out every game until end of season I bloody loved seeing that. You could tell from his interview when he first joined how much it meant to him to be here. Whatever criticism anyone could level at him, "he doesn't care" isn't one of them!

Still not convinced he has the speed for this level but could be a 20+ goal striker for us in league one Regardless of which division we're in next season, we'll get more out of him if we can play more to his strengths. In the short term get someone closer to him. On the ball, he shows for the ball but is frequently isolated. Off the ball he is never going to be that player pressing the opponent, but if he can be close by when someone else presses he'd be exactly the person you want taking advantage of a defence in chaos. Longer term, a creative CM creating stuff through the middle for him and a bit of time in the gym over the summer and we may have a very useful option. Because he's technically very capable and the best finisher we've had since that bloke we loaned to Blackpool.

From what I have seen he seems to be decent in and around the box. Give him a decent pass and a bit of space in and around the box I might just score the goals we need. Play it to him in the air, waste of time.

Had a tricky start caused by injury and illness.
I thought he did well on Monday and it was a great finish. Fancy him to score again on Saturday.
