Thought he looked a really player when he came on against Blackburn. Great first touch, really tidy feet and linked up play really well. Struggled in his next two starts when oppo defenders gave him a bit of treatment. Not the first and won’t be the last player to come over here and take a while to get used to the physicality of the league. I think there is a player there, but the question is, where does he fit in a high energy pressing system?

I assume we won’t see much of him this season
He needs to get to the gym
I think Schindler said he put on a stone and half in muscle after he arrived at Town
Bojan looked bullied and lost versus Sheff weds (second worse team in the league)
If I was a manager - and my job depended on results- I wouldn’t be rushing to find a place for him at this stage
Maybe when he does get minutes next he’ll be a bit more hungry to make an impression

Probably see Burgzorg lead the line Taking up that buy option on him looks like it’s essential every passing week imo

Nothing to say he won't fit into ABs formation and style.
In that case all recruitment is joined up. If AB doesn't use him, we have had a mare.

Also, does AB's teams press all the time or just during certain periods? A bit like a full court press in basket ball, you just switch it on and off. Also, he may need him as a front man when we are not pressing high.

Bumping this as it's clear we need him to come good and fast. We were crying out for a decent striker/finisher on the pitch yesterday. Has he been playing B team minutes? I agree but he's not going to come good if he doesn't get any minutes. When Worthington brought Ward on yesterday I could have run round to the dugout and punched him. We're not in a position to give players minutes to get up to speed. If we were mid table maybe we could. FTR I think he's a good footballer but just a poor fit for this club and a bizarre signing to have made.

Neither are we in a position to bring on crap players who make virtually zero impact on the game and who seem to pick and choose when they are available. Bojan showed in his 20 minutes at Blackburn that he's got something. Ward has nothing left, not that he had much to start with.

Surprised that we defended so deep yesterday, when previously, under JW, we defended high up the pitch. It was clear yesterday that we needed a Centre Forward/Striker, on the pitch. Delano looked sharp, just don't see want Danny Ward offers any more, ideal opportunity yesterday for Bojan, to play 2nd half - UTT.

When he's less expensive than Wiles I think it's fair that he gets time to prove himself and get up to pace when he's never played in such a physical league before. Especially when we have Del back fit and Koroma is a capable enough striker if needed. However Healey when back fit needs to hit the ground running with him being our most expensive signing since Isaac Mbenza and with him having played at a much higher level than Radulovic

Andre was a forward.
Just one of the things on his 'to do' list.

He just wants to get the ball and keep it to himself for as long as possible before losing it.

He would never have laid Sorba off for his shot that hit the post in November or before. There is still plenty to improve in in that regard but improvement has been shown.

He'd just had a right shagging from Sorba for not passing to him earlier when he was open but Del decided to have a go himself.

Simple solution to increase Bojan's strength is to change his asthma medication. It worked a treat with Boothy.

I don't suppose that Moore or Worthington have been able to help him much.

Rather him than a lad that barely runs, loses every header (not even trying to compete for the ball too often) and was completely in the pocket of the Wednesday defender the entire time he was on the pitch Im sure he will get better but honestly he did nothing at all good on Saturday - literally nothing Bojan did more in 20 minutes at Blackburn than Ward has done for 18 months apart from when the only person in football that can seem to motivate him was around. Hopefully we can release him and he'll bugger off up to Aberdeen for the rest of the season. Bojan showed that he has the potential to be very decent for us but hey we're Town fans so we'll write him off after a disappointing hour on his home debut. Bojan also played really well at Man City when he came on. I wanted to see him up top with Burgzorg yesterday.

Whatever Bojan's weaknesses, he can't offer less than Ward.

Definitely needs time to get acquainted with the physicality of the Championship - trouble is, as usual, we’ve no time to allow him to do this.

I don’t think it is his natural game though.

Highly unpopular viewpoint, but I'm with you on this, Porroh. Burgzorg is definitely not a team player and will rub lots of players up the wrong way with his greed and reluctance to pass. I'm not in favour of shelling out £1m for him unless he demonstrates an improvement in awareness and a desire to look up and pass over the last 13 games. We don't need any more rotten apples; we've had a few in the past.I Remember, Payton scored goals, but... Like I said, an unpopular view.

Good luck finding a better player for £1m. Honestly, we shat a golden egg with him and if we let him go back it would be a massive shame. He’s terrorised every defence he’s played against. There’s also absolutely nothing to suggest he’s a rotten apple either, similar type of trope that was thrown at Billing for no apparent reason.

When Stoke paid £4.5m just for a burger than surely Burgzorg must be worth a mil. He offers so much variation to our attacks and is a nightmare for defenders to contain. Nagle seems happy to give us good money for transfers and when Healey cost double Burgzorg's fee than it is a no brainer when the transfer market is so expensive
