Very confident it's going to be Hecky. Saw that he done an interview with Sky Sports last week saying he's ready to get back into management.

Hecky for me, folk are a bit blinkered and unrealistic. Whilst he’s not perfect he’s a good appointment in my view. I’m sorry but you’re absolutely miles off it if you think he’s going to play front foot attacking football. Does getting over the half way line qualify as attacking football?

My priority is someone who fist pumps the crowd after a win. Boring otherwise. You have to win a game first, Moore never got the chance with his style of play sadly.

Whoever it is will be an improvement on Moore. We could appoint someone from the catering staff and it would be a step up on Moore. Terrible appointment and manager. Get rid of whoever hired him because they are as bad as Moore. Amateur level.

Someone that can play good football and get results. We have been abysmal for years in the entertainment stakes... I'd probably go with a European, dortmund style coach. But do we have the players to play any other way than dazzler? Look at the way Wagner had us playing in his first game against Boro. It can be done with the right manager, although I don't think we should be playing it out from our goal line. Need to be a bit more pragmatic, at least initially. Seriously, I know Wagner worked miracles, but do you really think we can turn the current crop into some sublime passing team?? Most struggle to find a teammate and we pass it so slowly because they realise that most also can’t trap a bag of cement.

Don’t think it would be the approach but we look more limited than we could be because of poor coaching.

Id take heckingbottom. Took Sheffield United to the premier league last year. Or would people prefer a bigger name like Rooney?
Even if he played the same formation as Moore he would at least play the players in the right positions and coach them how to attack

It needs a confident personality, someone with some belief, a good knowledge of the Championship and a desire to be successful. They need to be able to work with but also challenge Mr Nagle and team.
We must get off the managerial merry go round now.
We cannot continue with "more of the same" and "finger in the air" appointments. Unfortunately we are in a bit of a hole and that will ditcate what happens.

Our lack of quality in midfield has a massive impact on our better players - I would hope whoever it is has an idea of what is required, has some suggestions of who we can get and is telling Cartwright and Mr Nagle. Moore didn't help himself/do enough but the fact we haven't looked to plug that gap in the squad is questionable.

I'd agree with all that aside the knowledge of Championship....would be a massive benefit, but I would not be against a foreign manager who would be first time in this league....

Hecky seems to be the obvious, dull, safe, sensible, lazy choice.
Ho hum, what ever will be, will be.

That would be an interesting call - he has a lot to prove (that he can manage away from Kenilworth Rd), but if he didn't get wins (which is what we need) I think there would be a whole new definition for the word toxic.

To clarify I think he's a horrible little git in fact the exact opposite of how Moore came across.

Having Bradford City legend Stuart McCall as assistant manager might ruffell a few chicken feathers.
