He oozes town manager.. Wanying to see him go back to the Academy project, but hopefulky this is a good job interview for in the future. Agree on the jacko shout - has that laidback confidence. Top bloke is Worthy He spoke so well i felt like I could play for town. We're so blinkered. He spoke no differently to Moore, accent aside, and the speed of which he talked its not much different. What I can tell you there was a whole lot more errs and erms from Worthy. But, because he's one of our own, he's from Yorkshire we turn a blind eye to it. same type of shit of shit we gave Carlos, and even Buzz. We really go out of our way so to speak to bring others down who aren't local to us, different nationality, and dare I say it, maybe borderline racist. Just calling an apple an apple, don't shoot me down on my opinion. What I do think and liked from the presser was it did show was there was definitely a lack of belief in the DM setup for sure. "Shackles off", "Change in mentality", "the approach" likewise with Pearson presser. I am looking forward to us being aggressive and on the front foot though. Complete and utter nonsense. Spoke much more coherently than moore... has bugger all to do with accent or (huge reach from you here) skin colour. Wasnt an issue with powell - his football was. Cowleys, not from here, i thought spoke well Carlos, language was a problem, but not something i ever complained about. Could tell he understood football but was speaking a second language Buzz, again, second language - said the right things but became a parody when things didnt translate onto the pitch Of course folk from local are likely to resonate more with fans, but ultimately it all comes down to results. The pressers just give us hope the manager has a clue of how to fix poor results. Do folk critically analyse a post win presser? Not really Moore could have spent an hour speaking russian were he winning games... I couldnt give a flying fuck of the colour of his skin

Bit harsh that. Hoyle, Bromby, Cartwright, Schofield, Moore - fair enough. But the academy manager and ex club captain?

Thanks for bringing some pride back to Huddersfield Town.
Today highlighted just how bad it was under Moore. After that first goal, the whole place lifted.

Really pleased for the lad. He’s Town through and through so that’s a great win for him today.

Took a while to break the shackles, but once they were off, they were off!
Good decision making with the subs I thought, we only got a foothold in the game once Wiles came on, and the front 3 of Diarra, Koroma, and Thomas was perfect for the quick counters we were always going to making once we went ahead.
2 important players sidelined this morning, 2 in game injuries both to strikers. No rash decisions or overthinking, just common sense team and sub selections, and making a fist of it whatever the circumstances.
What an asset he is to the club. I'm glad he's not after the manager's job in a way as it means he'll be here for longer.

When Healy went down we all said Wiles for him When Rudo was down , the blokes around me all said Diarra on and Koroma up top Obvious practical stuff that hasn’t been happening too often

Well done, Worthy.
Players playing with pride for the shirt, on the front foot, with aggression. Went 1-0 up and went for the throat.
Proud of the lads today 👏

So happy for Worthy tonight, one of my favourite players for Town. Loved what he said after the game about how proud he was and how you can never take this away from him. His reaction to a few of the goals....

The big difference to a presser with Moore isn’t race or accent, it’s simply that he answered the questions It's simply that he answers questions with his own words. Moore was full of clichés and buzz words. It's fuck all to do with race, etc. Not sure why race is even being brought into it!

Ignore the fact he is statistically an absolute disaster. You do right questioning why race has been mentioned. Ridiculous.

We need to remember that Worthy can only do what he can do. Every win and point he gets is a bonus and long may that continue.
Let's remember that if things don't go well on Saturday, if they do go ok/well then great if not he's still doing an honest job.

That should be 6 out of 7 because I don't imagine you were interested in Siewert or Cowley and there was no point in being interested in what Carlos had to say unless you can get the radio on x0.25 speed

Because Americans bring race / DEI / wokeism into bloody everything at every opportunity these days! It’s partly understandable given their history, but it’s largely irrelevant (these days) here in our UK racial and cultural melting pot where everyone has equal opportunities and indeed takes them.
