100% give it him until the end of the season. A win on Saturday seals it. What do we actually gain from replacing a manager that has the team winning players full of belief and the fans happy? What is to say that a new manager might come in and undo all this hard work? An added bonus of keeping him is seeing some of the usual suspects piss their knickers over it. Makes a change from you pissing your knickers you big baby. |

I’d be a bit pissed off if we announced a new manager tomorrow. Don’t think it’s possible to get a better tune out of these players right now. Let him take it game by game and keep us up, then re-assess in the summer. UTT

I don't want Worthington to end up in a situation where he gets the job full-time and ends up losing his job if he hits a bad spell. See how Saturday goes and we can go from there but certainly a cloud has been lifted. Worthy has stated several times how he doesn’t want the job on a permanent basis so at the very most, he would only take it to the end of the season (besides which we don’t want another Danny Schofield situation). A win on Saturday and I would accept be very difficult not to at least offer it to him til the end of the season whilst the Board thrash out exactly who they want in next permanently. He’s certainly not making that decision any easier! |

Worthy and his team are doing an excellent job.
Sitting close to the dugouts, what occurs to me is that everything is calm and organised on the touchline.
Great use of subs at the right time and it’s obvious that free kicks have been planned etc.
It’s a fact that he’s made a difference - there for all to see.
Id be very happy with him staying in charge to the end of the season and then we’ll see what happens next.
Certainly there is no reason for the club to feel rushed into making the wrong appointment.

Two things I love about Worthy "the manager" is A/ as an ex player knows how to inspire the squad to give it all, most of us are fine with mistakes being made by players as long as they are trying. We are not a premier league squad with multi-million pound players but we love guys who give all for the shirt not the pay packet.B/I find him an inspiration in the fact that hes a humble man on camera giving credit to everyone but himself, but he has a sharp football brain and spots tactics and plans very quickly and then is smart enough to known how to get the squad he has dealing with it. No matter what happens this season , hes a cult hero
