So your real name is HTAFCOKAY, fuck me I've heard it all now 🤣🤣🤣 And you responded by tweeting him, accusing town fans of 'kissing his arse' Why don't you just simmer down and stop being so confrontational, particularly when you throw a hissy fit when you get some back. My name is common knowledge on here, I've nowt to hide. And yes, Town fans are kissing his arse. You're probably one of them. I'll simmer down when the likes of you stop having a dig at every opportunity. But you won't will you... Relaxxxxxx

Didn't you have a pop at me out of nowhere a few days ago because I dared to make a comparison with Newcastle? If you didn't agree you could have ignored it but instead you accused me of exaggerating. Like I say, if you put your head above the parapet it's there to be shot at. I blocked you and you keep quoting me. Stop doing that and I'll stop responding in ways you don't like. It's simple. Over and out As I said, the biggest hypocrite on the board. Over and out.

Well, we’ve had a morale boosting win and yet the fallings out still happen.
I think I speak for most of the board when I say these very public spats, slinging of insults and pile-on’s are a poor reflection of what is a fantastic forum. The discussions and debates are at times superb. We are ALL Town fans when you look past the bluster, bravado and posturing.
This is a thought for everyone though; take the fights private. We don’t need to see them as the more they happen, the more the Admin team lose patience with those getting involved. It’s not what we want to sort but sometimes we have no choice. We’re issuing warnings publicly to try steer things the right way, to keep people active on here.
Help us keep the forum an engaging read for everyone. Thank you. 🙏🏼

Some thought went into that tonight, took some working out from us lot in the stands but bloody hell who ever came up with the plan in the Worthy & co setup then take a bow......The two biggest pieces in the puzzle Matty & Jack fighting for MoM. Clarke & Bellingham who are they, exactly make it a double UTT.

I will remember he was the manager that eventually got us out of 21st place!!

Does he even have the required badges to be permanent manager?
I think he’s doing great so far. Team is playing better but it’s only been three games. Hope it continues.
Personally I think we need a permanent manager as soon as possible so they can asses what needs to be done for next year. Waiting until the summer is wasting time. That said I am ok with Worthy taking a few more games. He’s getting more out of the team than DM did.

He's doing an outstanding job so far. There's no need to put any undue pressure on JW just let it roll at the moment.
As I have said a new manager doesn't guarantee safety and as JW has the players performing take a short term view and see how we go.
If we keep picking up points then look at the longer term a little further down the road.

I thoroughly enjoyed last night ,what I expect from a town side . I have no problem with JW continuing a while longer BUT he must be given assurance that he can revert to his academy role when a change is needed.

How is it that a rookie manager can show more ideas and plans in just three games than that clown Moore ? For me it’s obvious. The players want to play for him. They are enjoying their football and it shows. He doesn’t over complicate things. Set pieces - we look dangerous again. We never did under Moore. At the moment I wouldn’t change a thing. Just let Jon continue and let’s ride the we are on and pick up some points. How great to watch another game and enjoy it. UTFT

JW could potentially have a very difficult decision to make before long. When he first agreed to step in he made it very clear that ultimately he saw his job as being with the academy, probably long term as well.
He’s a local lad, he used to live near my sister opposite the entrance to Oakwell Hall in Birstall and about four years ago I saw him picking up his daughter from the nearby school in Nova Lane. I imagine he’d like to stay local.
If he was made permanent manager then I think most fans would be delighted for him and worried for him in equal measure. He’s Town through and through, but so was Danny Schofield.

Why would it be changed right now?
He has had a big impact, plays a positive game and has the players working hard - the shackles are off and they are enjoying it.
Nothing to stop JW getting it until the summer and only about 2.5 months away. The last thing these players need is another change and different instructions again.
The academy job can surely be held open until then and then the big decision made in the summer with less pressure.

Huge detail, one of our main goal sources. To change that showed that idiot had no idea what he was working with. He was a really nice guy I keep seeing these sarcastic digs about him being a nice guy, because people (including myself) said he didn’t deserve personal abuse. By the end I think it was unanimous that he had to be sacked, because the football and results weren’t good enough. Wanting him sacked but still wishing him well is perfectly fine. Some proper children on here that can’t take a different opinion and try misconstrue comments.

Interesting that Mr Morris can't see whats glaringly obvious in front of all our eyes Interesting that you've crawled out from under your stone to have a go. I don't want Worthington to end up in a situation where he gets the job full-time and ends up losing his job if he hits a bad spell. Which is generally what happens with caretakers that end up getting the job permanently. How dare I have an opinion, how fucking dare I not share an opinion with others. What a complete fucking wanker I am. But you are the one telling us to read up about Steve Smith's time in charge. He got his old job back, didn't he? Guaranteeing Worthy the same is so clearly a precedent we should follow. And for that matter, why didn't we do the same with Danny Schofield?

That said I am ok with Worthy taking a few more games. He’s getting more out of the team than DM did. I believe that he has, since the required 'badge' to manage in European second tiers, the so-called A Licence, is also required to manage a reserve team at that level and also junior teams up to 18 years of age, so he wouldn't have his substantive job without it. The Pro Licence is mandatory for European top tiers.

What a stupid thread! Like someone has said if we was to get pep Ljinders at the end of the season we could keep worthy ( but at a risk ) Otherwise no! Worthy doesn't want the job, he's got a job for life already and thats the job he wants to do as Nagle and Co have a big job with the new plans for the Academy he's just a stand in! ljinders was a relative failure in his only previous head coach role at Nijmegen. So he could be seen as a risky appointment too.

Pearson was M o M for the sponsors and spoke in the White Rose after the game. He openly said that Worthington has kept it simple, that too much under Moore was- in one ear and out of the other - unquote. He also said that the best footballer in the squad is Burgzhog. Terrific and deserved result.

The sheff weds game was enough for me to see worthy is a talented coach/man manager and he has what it takes to get the best out of what he's got He obviously spent a lot of time studying david wagner...its like he's a clone😁 We broke something that didn't need fixing when we shat on Neil...please let's not do it again

Leave it as it is for now, the lads obviously like playing for him and a win on Saturday would give him 3 wins in four which would be pretty impressive.

Worthington as caretaker working well.Let things be as they are for time being. I think JW is being very sensible in continuing to state he doesn't want it YET? and needs to be assured he returns to the ambitions of the Academy
