Fantastic win, great to see us trying to get it forward quickly. Rudoni fantastic as were Ward, Matos and Lees. Thought Spencer had his poorest game for us personally, he still contributed plenty but he kept losing the ball and running into blind alleys. Churlish to have a go at any of them though, in what was a composed team performance. Brilliant assist for the much maligned Edward’s as well.
Well done Town!

Even at 1-0 down we never looked like losing that. Lack of quality in the final 3rd but on the whole a cracking performance

Breitenreiter a third of the way to getting the same wins as Moore, with 23 games to spare.
Moore’s tenure was an absolute travesty and what we’ve seen since shows we’re probably a mid table side.

Looking at the table I can see 50 points will not see you safe this year.

On the train from Watford High St. Overall couldn’t wish for a better start. Lots of positives. The only negative is other results, but Town did their job. Overall 8 out of 10, but in the circumstances it was a perfect 10. Well done Town and well done AB on your winning start. Great support from Town fans, 2500 or so.

I hope that isn't Hogg, Matos and DB7 all unavailable for next week. With our luck this season they probably won't be

Fair play .
Took your chances and tbh we’re the better team particularly in the first half .
Good luck for the rest of the season

Plymouth,Wednesday,QPR, Millwall and Swansea. Would have got great odds betting all them to win.
Anyway currently is any 3 from 10 going down, or looking past poor old Rotherham any 2 from 9.

Lees and Rudoni outstanding, Danny Ward not bad. How the hell did Mr Chicken give Rudoni a mark of "5" Please Steven, judge him by the same yardstick you do the rest.

From what I've heard he was quite good and deserved at least a 6 and Spencer could well have had a 7

Danny Ward sure does like Vicarage Road, particularly the Vicarage Road end!

Stuck in a car park in the centre of Watford but that was all about heart and effort. With other results it was massively important but you have hope.
We did miss Sorba and Balker would definitely add a lot but this was a good win.
Does anyone know if Bojan was fit? He didn't kick about at half time and I'm not sure he warmed up at all?

My M.O.M aside from Ward was Lees, him and Pearson have a great understanding together.

Other than Millwall beating Southampton away, I think ours is the biggest surprise today. Wednesday and QPR beating Bristol and Rotherham at home isn't too much of a turn up.
After we beat Wed at home some of their fans were, not unrealistically, suggesting we might not get anything from the next 7 games. So, to have 6 and unlucky not to get anything from the other two, we are well in credit.

Great comeback and result, felt we deserved that. Gutted to see Millwall, Plymouth, Wednesday and QPR all win. Put SSN on after game finished, how fucking Londoncentric are they. Great win for QPR gets them out of bottom three and fantastic win for Millwall keeps them above the drop zone. No mention of the other two teams that won in the bottom six. They probably think Yorkshire is in Scotland.

Hoggy is off again, he just asked the manager if his plan was to go for the win.

What a win with our 2 best centre halves and Sorba out. Brilliant character shown, get in! Looking so tight at the bottom now but at least a few other teams have been dragged back into it, gotta love the Championship Huge game next sat now, let’s burst the arrogant chestwankers bubble, UTT! 🔵⚪️ I think both Pearson and Lees have the attitude to show the manager that they feel they are able to be starters in this team. Helik and Balker being available will give AB a nice headache.

I actually agreed with that score and I do rate Rudoni. I thought he was frustrating today, too slow to make his mind up what to do with the ball and then the final ball or shot was poor/weak. I think he struggled with the move back centrally from the wing, with defenders coming from all around him. Hopefully he'll get back up to speed if that remains his position. Although I suspect there won't be much time and space next week 🤣

That is why I said I was fine with Ward over Bojan in the last game. Ward has been poor, his injuries have annoyed me, but he's never shirked anything on the field. Today he was the difference maker. Well done Danny.

Lees was immense as was Pearson.
