Been a busy day for me so only seen the result, so pleased for the new manager. I do find it amusing though the number of key players involved today who have been well and truly slagged off and written off on here Nice to confirm, in case it was in doubt, the amount of absolute bollocks spouted on here I was there.... Lads behind singing danny danny fraud before his goals?! Then - get off edwards you fat card! Some proper weapons at times particularly at the end when the same were "hailing our messiahs". Excellent comeback today though - and tom lees was a colossus. Hit and miss performance but we now have a bench that can impact games........next sat is a free hit - after that a little easter run and we can all look forward to the summer window. Simples! You must have been sat near me, I heard the exact same things from a couple of mouthbreathers

The poster said we have a bottom 3 squad. We don't. Put that myth to bed we do. Rodoni and others not proven at this level. Rudoni not proven at this level? Ey? He’s been our second best player (after Helik), the lads 22. Sure theres parts he needs to develop add to etc - but he’s more than proven himself at this level. He’ll be premier league regular in a few years.

Love getting up early to play golf on a Sunday after a town win. Suspect my Sunderland mate will be moaning the whole way round though.
So good to feel positivity running through the club again. Ironic that we signed two strikers and neither are playing.
Lees, Pearson, Matos, Hogg & Yuta were immense yesterday.
Ward - what is it with him and playing for shit managers ? Came on yesterday - two goals - looked lovely. As opposed to games where we have seen every pass bounce of his shins and lose possession. Let’s hope it’s this version of him that stays for the rest of the season.

Doesn't surprise me that Lees had a great game. Him and Pearson both superb players. Amazed that Tom Edwards is still here let alone on the pitch though! Hope he's got himself fit!

Vitriol towards the Ward and Edwards substitutions and then the collective screech of handbrakes.

Certain managers seem to get the best out of some players who recently have not shown any form Ward has come right at the right time so who knows what to expect from him. Truely is Warnock's son. Comes out of retirement every February to keep clubs up. Danny uses the Gregorian Warnockian calendar

Results wise and off the ball certainly. On the ball we looked much happier to go back to Nichols than we did under Worthy. We were quite ponderous on the ball in the middle, Rudoni especially. We also lacked width, Spencer and Kasumu seemed a bit more reluctant to get forward and it was quite frustrating at times the space we had wide not being used. Funny that when we did get the ball into the box to an actual striker we scored twice. Really? I thought Rudoni was excellent throughout. Definitely was one of the better players. I think it was more to do with lack of options once he had the ball. He must have broke through the middle 3/4 times but with both Burgzorg and Koroma in the centre as well they both took his space and didn't give an option wide

Sorba needed a rest anyway, he’s run his knackers off the last few months.
Hopefully all is ok with him/his family and he’ll be back fresh and firing next week. Helik and Balker will hopefully be back too.
Still buzzing with that win, absolutely massive

Never understood why you would slag off your own players at a match. I actually feel sorry for folk that feel the need to act that way.
Anyway…forget them…I woke up buzzing this morning - a new era starts now with AB’s blue and white army!

Just watched the highlights again on youtube, that second goal by Ward in particular was superb, the diagonal run to the near post and the clever finish reminded me of Rhodes at his best. Love Burgzorg but you just know if he gets a sniff of goal hes never going to pass it in a million years, his better placed team mates must pulling out their hair at times when he ignores them and goes for goal himself. Rudoni went apeshit after Burgzorg went for goal himself from a difficult angle and Rudoni was all alone in the box just waiting for the pass. Glad to see that Tom Inces finishing has not improved since he left us My main feeling from yesterday was that heads never dropped after we went behind and we went a second after the equalizer much happier since Worthington took over. Moore had a lot injuries to deal with but since he left we can seen it was him holding us back not the squad, there is a positivity there now that we never saw once IMO when Moore was in charge.
I have a good feeling with the new manager in charge as long as we stay up and boost the squad in summer, next season could be the most exciting since Wagner promotion year

Lovely win. Burgzorg needs to play as a winger, far too selfish to be up front. Midfield were immense, Rudoni and Kasumu so good to watch. Defenders were immense, Spencer and Pearson so solid. Ward was immense ( ). 3 wins in 5 is promotion form. UTFT

Imagine they did an award at end of season for most improved player like under 14’s. Kasumu leaps and bounds this year.

Another great finish. Shows that some people ought to stay quiet during games. Precisely, the insults from some 'town fans'..iincluding booing was embarrassing when Edwards came on, when a player is on the pitch fans should get behind the players and will them to do well not fkn boo them, ok on the face of it at the time it wasnt exactly inspiring but what a substitution it turned out to be, he set up the winner for gods sake.

I’m all for voicing my opinion on here as it’s a forum and the only place you can vent your feelings , if I feel a player is sub standard but at a game . Edwards isn’t good enough he got caught out yesterday with his slow pace when the winger got past him and Watford should of scored and yes he got a good assist but he’s far from good enough at this level, but I will never slag them off at game. That aside GREAT following and GREAT day out.

The new coach needs to get Burgzorg to one side for a chat.He has undoubted talent but he just doesn't get his head up and look for a player who is in a better position than him in the box to shoot,it's a habit that needs to change.

Put SSN on after game finished, how fucking Londoncentric are they. Great win for QPR gets them out of bottom three and fantastic win for Millwall keeps them above the drop zone. No mention of the other two teams that won in the bottom six. They probably think Yorkshire is in Scotland. Get that impression also. Very few Northern reporters left now on Soccer Saturday and the bloke reporting on our game just didn’t have a clue. Do we give a fuck NO.

Lightning does strike twice in the same place, last season NW sprang a surprise at Vicarage Road with an unlikely win, when he brought on subs High & Harratt a lot thought he had lost his mind by not using any of the January outfield signings. He went on to say that the 3/4 players he was told had no future were the best in training & deserved their chance in the team......All the time DM & his followers were bleating but two quality coaches/managers show that we do have a decent squad & seeing things others don't in the players, excellent start.

Overall the performance was a good one.The better team across the 90 plus minutes. First half we could have been maybe more clinical or showed more quality when we won the ball back/was given it back. Hopefully give us more confidence. Watford looked very similar to how we looked under Moore tbh, tentative,no real urgency etc etc, they just have better players. Good spirit to come back and good to see wardy come on and bag. Balker to come back in I think is quite important for the Leeds game,Helik be nice too 😀 and add sorba in there hopefully we can bloody the nose at very least. Iv maintained it for a while and I know results didn’t go for us yesterday but I think we stay up comfortably.Thought we probably needed 5 wins before yesterday,If we don’t have 4 more in us with our fixtures I’ll eat my hat!!

I didn’t see either of the new assistant coaches Asif Saric and Thomas Kleine on the bench on Saturday. Were they there or have they not yet got their visas?

I think Saric was there looking at the photos. Didn't see Kleine on them but possibly up in the stand, observing from above
