Stuck in a car park in the centre of Watford but that was all about heart and effort. With other results it was massively important but you have hope. We did miss Sorba and Balker would definitely add a lot but this was a good win. Does anyone know if Bojan was fit? He didn't kick about at half time and I'm not sure he warmed up at all? Bojan was unwell and had a high temperature according to André. Yes, Pearson as well but Bojan must have been suffering more. Andre had his share of side swipes today also Balker was a late miss and then Sorba. It just shows how resilient the players can be, plus maybe we have a decent manager now.

Thought the new lad Ward we brought on up front looks a right player.

We seemed to carry on where we left off with Worthy. We're suited to this no fear, front foot, aggressive football. It's night and say from only a month ago where we were playing all fear, flat foot, cautious football.
We had quite a few key players missing today but didn't use it as an excuse for negative tactics and really went for it.
Between them scoring and us equalising I thought we were quite passive, but we dominated the rest of the game.
Very well deserved win.

If anything we deserve some luck for the frequency of players we’re losing for various reasons. Both centre backs and Sorba out today Would Burgzorg have been fully fit and ready to start had Sorba not had to pull out Has he been injured again today? Hogg looks out again Both our new strikers have had time on the sidelines already Yet we’re still winning games and as you say, playing positively post DM 12 games to go. What I’d give for a win next week!

Probably been spooked by the booing during the game . And as he took 2 players off after 25 minutes. Local paper site particularly want him out too although the main forum and x think it would be harsh .

Danny Ward, supersub.? Probably his best use at the moment. Koroma has had some of his best 'games' for us coming on as sub, perhaps time Hoggy did as well. As we really do know its a 97/98/99 minute game and clever use of subs is imperative. Danny likes Watford away..

He also has 6 goals v Brentford but that's in 12 games.

On the ball we looked much happier to go back to Nichols than we did under Worthy. We were quite ponderous on the ball in the middle, Rudoni especially. We also lacked width, Spencer and Kasumu seemed a bit more reluctant to get forward and it was quite frustrating at times the space we had wide not being used. Funny that when we did get the ball into the box to an actual striker we scored twice.

Yes think we scored with our second shot on goal and then couldn’t hit the barn door again ! Not often our fans get that irate . We have been pretty rubbish recently but not sure changing the manager will make much difference - we aren’t very good at replacing them.

Fully deserved the 3 points today, apart from 10-15 minutes after the break Watford were flat. First half, I thought Hogg and Rudoni were superb. Rudoni looks a real player to me, even if his influence faded in the second half.
Two well-taken goals from Danny Ward, right in front of me, me Dad and son. Perfect finish to an away day! UTT

We ShOuLdNt Be LoSiNg To TeAmS lIkE hUdDeRsFiElD In that case - How nice it is that it’s not HTAFC that are rocking up to play them next week then for once and suffering the new manager positive bounce... And How nice it is that they faced HTAFC with the new manager bounce effect as well - 😊 Now let’s bounce Leeds into oblivion on Saturday ! 👍

Enjoyed that today!
Our two players of the season so far in Sorba and Helik missing and probably a future player of the season contender in Balker also out.
We are not a bad side and we have good pros who with the right manager are good players. Must be brutal playing under a poor manager and some of these boys have had to play under Fotheringham and Moore!
Senior pros stood up today and I thought Hoggy, Pearson, Lees and Wardy all put in a great shift 👏
Time to end our rivals run next Sat…

Certain managers seem to get the best out of some players who recently have not shown any form Ward has come right at the right time so who knows what to expect from him. Truely is Warnock's son. Comes out of retirement every February to keep clubs up.

Danny Ward sure does like Vicarage Road, particularly the Vicarage Road end! Jesus - He has been such a Saint today, he has certainly been Practicing for sure, he Believed today, he showed that The Watford defence were Holy, he is Born Again, he has us Worshipping him once again, Thank God that he had Watford Fearing him, his performance was Devine and he has Resurrected Town’s Championship Status hopes once again, I wonder did he Canon one or both into the net... Anyway - Thank You Danny, you have made me feel 🥃 🥃 Spiritual 🥃 🥃 and I’m very much enjoying that indeed at this very moment ! 😊 👍

Very strange again. My player ratings were pretty much opposite of what SC gave on We Are Terriers. Edwards - 7 was the stand out anomaly. He deserved that 7. Anyone who says otherwise is bringing previous performances to the table. Did everything that was asked of him, when he came on. 7 was a fair score. He looks seriously chonky though 😁

Been a busy day for me so only seen the result, so pleased for the new manager. I do find it amusing though the number of key players involved today who have been well and truly slagged off and written off on here Nice to confirm, in case it was in doubt, the amount of absolute bollocks spouted on here

Lads behind singing danny danny fraud before his goals?! Then - get off edwards you fat c***! Some proper weapons at times particularly at the end when the same were "hailing our messiahs". Excellent comeback today though - and tom lees was a colossus. Hit and miss performance but we now have a bench that can impact games........next sat is a free hit - after that a little easter run and we can all look forward to the summer window. Simples!
